A solid 4 stars. The food was great. Took a long time to come out considering they weren't very busy. The staff was friendly. But the place needed a little love. The seat cushions were ripped and the place just overall needed some work. Fried shrimp was awesome and the sides were great too. I would definitely come back. read more

Unfortunately, my experience at Aunny's was horrible to say the least. I would have to say more on service than food. First, I waited 45min for a crab cake and ceasar salad! Then, the crabcake was overly salty and the salad was not fresh! I heard great things about Aunny's and being that I'm a native of Georgetown I wanted to support local business. OK. You tell me. Ice water with no water. 15 minutes to get a refill of my coffee. Toast given to another table while our eggs sat on our plates. Needed to make more toast (probably while the coffee was being brewed). Twice had to get cream for coffee after I asked for it. Incorrect billing at register. Well I finally made it across the street to Aunnys, and I enjoyed the best breakfast I have had in a very long time. The shrimp and grits were outstanding, pancakes were to perfection. My wife's eggs were perfect for her, and service was prompt. So whenever you're in Georgetown on front Street I would highly recommend Aunnys . Simply the best southern home cooking with a soul touch you will find. The very best fried chicken, Mac and cheese and Lima beans we have tasted. The sweet potatoes were near perfect, the cornbread just a hint of sweet and the sweet tea just right. The other dishes we saw on other plates looked just as good and everyone leaving there was fat and happy! The ladies that own and run the place are family and as friendly as can be. Went for Sunday lunch. Waitress dropped off menus to our table. After getting our drink Order she came back and asked if we were ready to order. We asked a couple of questions about items on the menu. One question we asked was what do you recommend. The waitress responded with "I don't eat here, but I guess everything is good." We were also told that they don't serve items on the menu on Sundays and that she just dropped them off because they hadn't had a chance to write the specials on the board yet. After ordering from the specials board the waitress returned to let my mom know that they didn't have the ribs even though they had written the item on their board 5 minutes earlier. After my mom reordered our food came out relatively quick. My wife and I both ordered the meatloaf with different sides. Our meatloaf was obviously reheated in the microwave. We both ordered mac & cheese, which was unrecognizable (didn't even see noodles in the mush). My mac & cheese was cold and hers was steaming hot, which means it was obviously microwaved. They never brought my wife's 3rd side and they also never brought out my daughter's one side that came with her PB&J. My mom said hers was average at best and her order came out correct. They also don't list any prices. They charged us $11 per person (yup, $11 for a PB&J sandwich with no sides). For 3 adults and one child it totaled $55. Will never go back! read more

It was good old fashioned home cooking, old store front setting (no problem with that). The sides were in very small dishes ,so I was unhappy with that for the price it was $23 for my wife and I to eat and she had water to drink. Server barely even spoke to us. Good food though. read more

Fantastic breakfast, really enjoyed the corned beef and hash, and my friend loved his pancakes sausage and eggs there were fantastic sweet and fluffy, my other friend had the salmon croquettes and said it tasted amazing.
