Been meaning to come here for a while, as we vacation in Pawley's with family every August, and finally had the pleasure of doing so this year. It is definitely going to be a date night staple during vacation week for years to come! Fantastic food, unique flavors, and quality service to go with it. Tyson was our server and gave us such great recommendations for both dishes and drinks. We can't wait to be back next year!

I love the exterior design of the restaurant and the vibe is very cool. The interior design is done very well and the custom ceiling fixture light is absolutely amazing . I had the crustless lump crab quiche served with a side salad and it was delicious. The service was excellent. I will be back!

N Causeway Rd, Pawley's Island SC. This restaurant was selected by our party we accompanied. There is a main building w dining I think but we were seated in the patio outdoor seating. I didn't have any problems w mosquitoes but there was a constant water dripping on table from above canopy. I had two very delicious beers "Cereal for Dinner", highly recommend these. My entree was very breaded fish & side was extremely salty terrible. The check was picked up by my brother-in law for their contribution at the beach. I asked what bill total was for nine people said it was $400. That comes out to about $44 per person. At this price per person versus entree taste it didn't make a great impression. Maybe worth a look for beach visit but not regular stop.

We visited Chive Blossom during our family beach trip in July and the overall experience was okay. My wife had to call in to make our reservation phone since we had a party of 8. They placed us on the large table near the bar and was informed that it was their community table, but never told us when we made the reservation. A couple joined us for dinner which was okay but we would have preferred a private table (especially our bill was around $300). The food was good overall with the exception of the Fried Green Tomato Napoleon, which no one liked. When the waitress asked how it tasted, we told her no one liked it and she just said "oh really, that is one of our popular appetizers". It made us think, then why ask us if your not going to do anything about it. I would say if your not into the house-made red pepper jelly, don't order this. On the other hand, their Watermelon Salad was excellent and includes buttermilk blue cheese, candied pecans, english cucumber, red onion, baby arugula, and red pepper jelly vinaigrette. If your vegetarian, their menu is "Very" limited. I ordered a Manhattan and wife ordered the blood orange margarita, which were both great. My dad ordered the fried seafood platter (~$36) which he said was good, but maybe should have been cheaper. Atmosphere- since we sat right next to the tiny bar area, it was so loud. We had to literally yell at each other to communicate anything. Sitting next to some strangers was very odd. The place was also so hot and most everyone was sweating (yuck). Otherwise, perhaps if we sat outside the experience would have been different. We may pass on this place next time we are in town and try somewhere else.

Has a great evening out vibe but not in the stuffy or uptight way. Staff and servers were friendly, professional and handling the busy crowd well. We were served waters right away and a drink order was taken, then the beautiful bread basket was delivered and it had an assortment of carrots and celery plus, a crunchy flatbread cracker, buttery cheese biscuit, yeast roll, and a rustic sourdough roll (I'm guessing on these, but we ate them all!). For our meal we settled on the pork schnitzel with kale, brussels, and roasted potatoes and the scallops with butternut squash risotto. The schnitzels was lovely with its crispy breading, a creamy mushroom "gravy" and an onion sauce for the potatoes and veggies that was rich and flavorful. The brussels were caramelized and paired perfectly with creamy elements. The sautéed onions pulled the potatoes and kale in and it was just a great plate of food. Elevated comfort, Scallops were cooked perfectly and were tender with a nice "crust" and the risotto had chunks of pork belly and butternut squash for a salty/sweet balance. Sadly we didn't get dessert because we were headed to a party but we will be back to try the short rib and bread pudding!

The ambiance was beachy, but laidback and friendly for any occasion. The food was quite good, with the litchfield biscuit and the hoisin shrimp wrap being my favorites. The apple butter on the litchfield was the best my family has ever had (an easy thing for us to agree on). They also have a great array of beers, with some nice local options. I will say that my Kentucky Cowboy milkshake was booze forward, so just a heads up if that's not your preference. I definitely would have chosen the Sweet Swine in hindsight. Ellen was a real gem though, as we had two coincidental issues with our food (not her fault at all) and she handled it like a real pro. The staff is all professional, and these two visits cemented BisQit as our go-to whenever we take another trip to Pawley's Island.

The egg was perfect, but it wasn't a great sandwich overall. The home fries were not very warm and the melted cheese on top (I asked to add) was also dry and very stuck together. So the potatoes were all one sheet of cheesy potato which did not easily break apart. The cheese they used was not a great melting cheese. Probably pre shredded with a caking agent on it. Anyway. It was all edible, but it wasn't great. Also, this is a very drafty place, tried to sit in the plastic walled porch but was freezing. The bar wasn't much better. And the annoying guy next to me who couldn't read the room didn't help anything.
