Stop in here once in a while when visiting relatives and they breakfast here. I really don't see the attraction, the locals really seem to enjoy it. Eggs overcooked dry, sausage a thin patty grey looking and appeared poor quality, coffee bitter, again I would say some kind of cheap brand. The home fries were the frozen variety, tasteless no seasoning. Deafeningly loud music and bright lights. Have to say the waitstaff are friendly and efficient. I was eating there regularly until they bombed 3 meals. It seems scrambling 4 eggs is a difficult task for Aunt Beas. I've had this twice and both times they were severely overdone. On another occasion I ordered the meatloaf sandwich, having seen it before, it had appeared to be 2 slices of solid meatloaf with what looked like ketchup on each half sandwich. What I got was a gray brown mush that looked as though it had been squeezed from a tube onto the bread, disgusting. What's worse is that the cook was aware of it and just didn't care. The wait staff is their saving grace as they are the best around, but the food is seriously lacking. If you go there look inside the glass case at the entrance at the slices of pie and cake, very very small and multiple size pieces of the same product, apparently zero quality control. read more

This is a southern style diner. I had a salmon patty with fried green tomatoes and squash. The salmon was juicy which I like, most places make them too dry. The service was good also. The seat yourself doesn't work very well since most of the tables were dirty. Something about the building blocks all cellular data. It would be nice if they would give you the WiFi password but they will not. read more

We were looking for a new breakfast place, and I am sorry to say, we are still looking! I ordered eggs w/ home fries and toast, everything was stone cold when it came out. The taters were already overcooked when I sent them back, they were refried in the deep fryer again and were burnt to a crisp. My husband is a big guy, usually cleans his plate. His food was cold too. He ordered chicken fried steak w/ home fries and biscuit and gravy. I noticed he wasn't eating with his usual gusto, and even the man with the steel stomach left his biscuit and gravy on the plate. Whoever said this place serves real coffee, well ours was coffee water. The prices weren't bad, but I would rather pay more and not leave hungry. read more

Not sure what's going on over there. Use to love everything I ordered there. Last few visits were disappointing. Last time I had the country ham breakfast and the ham was just not very flavorful. The time before we ordered corn beef hash and it wasn't prepared as we ordered it. Today I had the steak and gravy - it was tough. The baked apples were essentially warm applesauce and the soup beans had a funny taste. They even raised the prices on the board during our visit. I don't think we'll be going back. read more

I was craving turnip greens and asked my customer where I could score some in Greeneville. They rattled off a few places but how can you not pick a place called Aunt Bea's? Very busy little restaurant with lots of locals having lunch and chatting across tables. I had a spinach salad that was really good. I requested no onions but should have said no mushrooms too because it was covered in canned mushrooms which were off putting in such an otherwise fresh salad. Either put on fresh mushrooms or leave them off. The greens hit the spot. Also had some okra which I didn't finish because everything else was good and the okra wasn't worth the calories. The service was not what I'd call friendly but it was efficient. They don't take American Express which is a bummer for business travelers but I understand why they don't want to do it, AMEX is expensive for a small business. It's a solid lunch choice in Greeneville. Predictable but you don't leave hungry! read more

Breakfast: Tried it and it was CLEAN OUT TIME, big time if you get my drift. Don't know if I'll try the lunch menu. Price is reasonable but then again, for a CLEAN OUT TIME, so is a hamburger at McDonald's for a fraction of the price. read more

We had the breakfast. I was good. Service was slow but they were hopping. We had a pretty average experience here.

They were packed on a Sunday at lunch and still got a seat in 2 minutes. Menu items were vast and you had me at All Day Breakfast! Food was just as expected and on the table blazing fast. Huge portions. Fast service. Good pancakes. Good home fries. Country fried steak was best I've had in a long time. Gravy was meh. Corned beef hash wasn't a favorite. Prefer my hash to have a little crisp to it. Coffee was good - not watered down like most diner coffees can be. Friendly people :) would def recommend for a no frill breakfast spot!!! read more

Had breakfast here while in town for a concert. Great no frills diner. I had the meat lovers omelette, which was stuffed with bacon, ham, sausage, peppers, and onions. Unlike most omelettes where eggs outweigh the fixings, this had a fixing to egg ratio. The meal came with sausage and gravy, which was awesome. Well-seasoned gravy with a great flavor over fluffy biscuits. Would definitely come back if in the area. read more

5-21-19 - Hair was in my cheese omelet this morning at first bite. It was a long hair that definitely got into the egg during processing because I had to scrape it off my tongue & there were egg pieces wrapped around the hair. I showed it to the lady at the register & asked for the manager. I asked the manager if she requires hair nets & she said yes and thought it must have fallen off the cook's clothing. She took the LONG hair with egg pieces wrapped around it in a napkin to show the cook. I did not accept a replacement and simply will not eat there again. read more

What a fun little gem! We were in town for a wedding and found this place for brunch. The veggie omelet was amazing and the home fries were just like I like them-extra crispy! The kids loved the Minnie Mouse pancakes. They were so cute! Staff was friendly and the price couldn't be beat! read more
