SOOOO GLAD AUNT BEE'S REOPENED!! All new washers and dryer, saved money and time and it's closer to my apartment! When AB's closed due to fire it broke my heart. I don't have a car and when a business closes in the community it creates a vacuum. There's only one other laundromat within walking distance and I won't mention their name but a quarter of their machines didn't work, the ones that worked smelled and their bathroom was always "out of order." As fall approaches I'll need to wash all my bedding and I'm grateful that Aunt Bee's is there for all my laundry needs! read more

Management should really consider getting morning employees that will actually be on time and open the laundromat. This location never adheres to the hours posted online - today they were supposed to open at 7AM. It's 8:20AM and the place is still closed while me and 3 other people have to just....wait outside. Incredibly inconvenient for people who don't have the luxury of an in-home washer/ dryer. The upside? A new laundromat opened up on 7th Street called the Norton Laundry Mill. It's only 10 minutes further, cleaner, the employees are nicer, AND they open on time. All around better facility that respects your time. I'm about to get back in my car and go there now. I'll tell all my neighbors to do the same too. Hopefully a lack of business will encourage them to get new management/ employees. read more

I was in a time crunch and used their full service laundry services. Weighed my cloths, told me to come back tomorrow. Showed up the next day, my cloths were folded but the quantity didn't look right. Asked them to weigh it. Which at first, they ignored and tried to distract me, finally getting it on the scale. Ended up being 30% less than what they took in. They found some of the cloths a few days later, however no attempt to remediate the loss/theft by management or the owner. In the end I never recovered at least 10 lbs of cloths. I never recovered or heard from the manager/owner in 2 months. So consumer beware, there are some shady people here in my opinion. read more

used to go there and wanted to find out the times (different times listed on line) but no one ever answers the phone! tried about 15 times the last couple of weeks and just get a message "phone not in service, leave message" and never got an answer. Did they change phone number, go out of business or just don't care anymore? read more

Clean laundromat. Friendly helpful staff. Coin operated. They broke my $20 so i could use smaller bills for change. Washer was 30 min. Clothes dry in 15 min. This place is the realest! First off, it's not your typical commercial laundromat with your crowded areas and your screaming children. It's lowkey and has an olden times feel to it. There's a vintage PacMan for goodness sake! During the week washers and dryers are discounted and it's already reasonably priced! I've never had to wait for washers or dryers to become available. The staff is friendly & they keep the place clean! I've seen them cleaning every single time I have been there! You've probably had it happen to you. I fed a twenty dollar bill into the change machine for quarters and the machine whirred for a minute or two and then lit up the out of service light. Worse yet, nobody saw me do it. Luckily this story has a happy ending. Tracy, the attendant, got on the phone with the owner and had it all straightened out in minutes. Nobody gave me the fifth degree and everyone was really pleasant about it. Having not known the joy of the level of service under the previous owner, I can't can't evaluate it against that. However, I can say that I did have a really good customer service experience with them. As far as the facilities go, this is a basic laundry mat that is more than capable of meeting your needs. They have a number of large washers and dryers that will accommodate comforters or blankets and some big folding tables. To help kill time they have some flat screen televisions and (to me at least) a yet unexplored arcade next door. The one thing this place could really use is a wifi connection for people while they wait. Edit: They do have wifi. read more

While in town this week and being on the road for over a week, I had to do some lite laundry, and didn't want to pay hotel prices. The place is really nice & clean. Free wifi plus TV & movies. Lots of washer & dryers. And I could buy detergent for a dollar, in quarters. Washer was $2.00 dryer .25cents for 5 mins I only had to spend .50cents for my light load. Half the dryers were only getting warm, refunding my money was not what I wanted, the 34 minutes with still damp clothes is what I lost. They would of been dryer if I'd hung them in my bathroom over night and closed the door. Which I will do from now on. Also some dryers give 5 minutes for 25 cents some give 7 minutes for the same amount read more

Well worth the drive from downtown Louisville hotel. It's been a few years since my last laundromat experience and the gent working there was extremely helpful from picking out the right size washing machine for my laundry, how many quarters I needed to dry my clothes ($1), and which machines were the newest and worked the best. Stopped by for a quick load, and since some laundromats can be shady and I recently moved, I wanted to go inside and check it out before hauling everything inside. That was my first mistake. I looked around, decided it looked nice, and pulled out a dollar thinking I'd get my change and go grab my clothes. Before I even had money in hand, just turned toward the change machines, this middle-aged-ish woman comes screaming asking if she can help. I say no thanks, and take another step; she then screams again asking if I'm doing laundry there. I say yes. Again she screams, telling me I have to bring my clothes inside before I can use the change machine. By this point I'm tired of feeling accosted, so I turn around and simply say, "no thanks, I'll go someplace less weird." I went to my car and took my laundry elsewhere where I wasn't hassled. My biggest issue wasn't the rule, it was being treated rudely as soon as I walked in the door. If someone had come over and kindly explained their policy, which wasn't posted on the door like other places I've done laundry, I would have gladly went to get my load first. Disappointed too because it looked like a cute place and I hoped to get some of their info about fluff and fold service. Will never step foot inside again now. I'll gladly follow your rules, but not if you're screaming and rude. read more

First time I've had a really bad experience at the laundry. First no bills so I had to get 20 dollars in change which is really inconvenient. Second the water in the washer was ice cold and had as much pressure as a cheap squirt gun. I had to pull soaking wet clothes out of the machine and pay for another wash. The person working there could care less even though I informed him of what was going on. read more
