The Laundry Basket has been going downhill for awhile and my last visit was my last. Machines are Out of Order on a regular basis and when the coin machine wasn't working and you can't count the place isn't clean, I was done. This place goes through employees as well, not a good sign when you can't keep people. read more

Okay. It's been a VERY long time since I've been here and I'm happy to report some significant improvements. First of all, no smoking. There's a bench outside where folks can partake if they want but the building is now smoke free. There've been upgraded to the equipment, as well. They have machines huh enough to hold EIGHT regular loads. You can wash a car in there. (Probably don't because you'll chip the paint.) Accompanying those are enormous dryers. They're expensive but they are there. The machines also take cards so you don't have to stress about finding an ATM and all that. BUT... There's like a fifteen dollar hold on the card with each swipe until the transactions update in a few hours (or days). I don't have that kind of pocket change so, I use quarters. read more

We started coming here over a year ago and loved it. However, since then, this place is surely losing ground with us. Many machines will take only coins, (we're not cash carry folks) and many more are simply out of order. If you come in with a $20 bill, you either have to go get change from next door business or you are forced to buy that many quarters. Not to mention prices have been increased on several of the best machines to a ridiculous amount. We will be looking for an alternative place. Wow, just wow. read more

The facility closes at 9pm they stop you from coming and washing at 7:15 the washers run for 27 minutes I don't understand nor appreciate what type of down time you need to close a laundromat that nobody comes to in the first place... last dry 8:15 bills hit read more

As a travel nurse living in a RV I need a good, clean, and dependable laundry service. The Laundry Basket is just that for me. I have always been able to get in and out quickly with no waiting. Plenty of good working machines and the staff are very helpful. They also offer a drop-service but I haven't had the need to use it. Will continue to visit this location while in the area. read more

This laundromat is very clean. No smoking is allowed. There is plenty of seating for those who want to wait around. There is a great Italian restaurant in the same plaza. There is a television - I believe just one, maybe two. There are tables for you to sit at in case you want to eat, use your laptop, etc., snack and soda vending machines are available and well stocked, they sell all a person would need (hangers, laundry baskets (plastic and drawstring cloth), detergents, softeners, etc.), they offer additional services, such as laundry drop off, alterations, etc. This was my first visit, as it was that time to wash blankets, mattress pads, and comforters too large for my home washer and dryer. This place is well equipped with super duper large machines (washer and dryer) and smaller ones. To be truthful, I've never seen machines as big as the ones they have here. I placed 3 large items in a single super duper large dryer (and 2 in another) and they dried very well - I believe within 45 minutes. All five could have gone in a single dryer. The machines looked relatively new and were very quiet when operating. They are computerized and were reliable - meaning, they didn't take my money. In terms of cost, I have nothing to compare their prices to. I'd suspect their prices are in line with other laundromats. I don't recall the prices at this point, but I do remember being OK with them. The attendant was extremely nice, helpful, and easy to talk to to help time pass away! The same three dryers have been broken for months and management takes up all of the other debit driven dryers. Little regard for customers. Generally they have good equipment but can't understand why the owners refuse to fix the broken ones. Months after this review and two of the same dryers remain broken. New one broken this week. Horrible management and employees are always smoking out front complaining about their job. read more

I think things have changed since the last review--smoking is not allowed at the Laundry Basket & it's always been perfectly fresh smelling. I moved to the apartments across the street from the Laundry Basket a few months ago (June 2012) & have done tons of laundry there since then with no problems. Last wash is at 8:15pm. Oh also I don't think they have tanning anymore? But there is a salon next door so I don't know if they are owned by the same people or not. read more

Awful. Drop-Off service ruined my delicates (clearly labeled "delicate, low-heat") and refused to offer a refund. I paid $41.80 yet they ruined half a load of laundry, valued at $300+ when it was all new. I had lace panties that had been degraded to shreds and polyester and cotton items that were shrunk to half their original size. I have washed these items in their facility before choosing the self-service option and they were fine on the delicate and low heat settings. No way low heat was used, and if it was, my items must have been neglected in the dryer for several hours. If I had been issued a refund, I would have gladly continued to bring my more durable items to them. But I don't want to do business with people who do nothing to try and fix a major screw up. Still trying to pursue a refund. read more

This is one of the best in town. They have drop off service which is always quick, reasonably priced, and always meets my expectations. The staff are always helpful when needed. They don't allow smoking ((and haven't for years, as I've been coming here for a while)). They updated their machines recently and they're more efficient so you don't spend as much money and it doesn't take as much time. I highly recommend the Laundry Basket. read more

No smoking allowed inside now. I moved in during the last of September, 2012. I have dropped laundry off there to be cleaned for me while at work - they do an excellent job! Staff is friendly, helpful and considerate. The place is always clean - last wash is 8:15 p.m. very family friendly :) read more

the other comment from 2008 doesn't matter any more. laundry basket has been non smoking since january 2010. by far the best cleanest friendliest. in a good part of town. always attended, no shady characters loitering around like at the others. read more
