Great selection of ice cream, as well as a few non-dairy and sugar free options, and decent sized space with inside and outside tables to eat your treats. The best ice cream on the island! I think my cousins and I went here twice during our stay in St. George island. They were busy both times we went, but the line moves quickly and the service and fast. They let you sample a few flavors and everyone there is nice. They have so many different flavors to choose from. I chose to get the oatmeal creme pie. I wish I could've taken a pint home with me, it was delicious! They have limited indoor and outdoor seating. A really fun spot to visit during your vacation! read more

Ok! Just the right vibe in a lovely town. We wanted ice cream on a cool day and we loved the beach vibe and colorful decor. It just felt laidback and so summer beach like when we stepped in. We order a single scoop each on a waffle cone and although each scoop costed roughly $5.50 the portions were MASSIVE! I combined salted caramel and happy tracks which was essentially vanilla ice cream with peanut butter cups. The flavors were so different and still not too sweet. My idea of ice cream is delicious goodness with minimal sweetness and Aunty Ebbys hit the spot. Locally owned this place has been serving ice creams since 1993 and the place was just worth the hype! My dog enjoyed a pup cup while we savored our ice creams. A gem! read more

Aunt Ebby's is a must whenever I visit. Not only can I get Bluebell ice cream but the staff is accommodating of my peanut allergy, always getting a fresh batch for me to avoid cross contamination. There's a lovely porch to sit on as you enjoy your ice cream with the local radio station playing in the background. Please check this one out! You won't regret it. read more

Oh my what a place. When we got here, it was hard to find a parking spot, but that was on Saturday night. You have to go upstairs to get to the place and people were lined up the steps, but the line moves really fast. Ice cream was delicious and didn't seem too pricey. They have one of those obnoxious computer checkouts that ask you for a tip then email your receipt, but other than that it was great. read more

I got their quite late right before it closed. I chose the cake batter ice cream which had very good consistency but COULDVE been a better flavor, it was more like cotton candy but it was very packed with people which was surprising but had a very quick line and only took two minutes to get through about 15 people ahead of me. I will need to come back if I visit st George again but try a different flavor. read more

Great ice cream and great seating. I loved the environment inside, but I also loved watching the sunset from the second floor. The girls working there are super nice. We stopped in on a hot day to try Aunt Eddys ice cream. The line was kinda long that day but they went through it quickly. Think chipotle but not as much anxiety. The portions were generous and the ice cream very good. They did have dairy free fruit bars. read more

It looked promising from the crowd outside. We had gotten 3 milkshakes that ended up in the garbage shortly after because it had entirely too much milk and was just flavored milk. You literally could slosh it around. All 3 shakes were done like it. I feel like they just rushed because they were so busy but if we ever go back we just won't get the milkshakes again. read more

There's Aunt Ebby's, which is somewhat similar to Bruster's, but in a more divey, beach town environment. It's popular, but I crave healthier options like fat free soft serve or sugar free italian ice after a long day on the beach. Upon arriving for this summer's adventure in St. George, my family immediately spotted a new cute wooden hut advertising shaved ice. It was about 6 p.m., and they were closed, but we vowed to stop by the next day. We did, and it was glorious. There were at least 30 flavors, and 4 were sugar free. The green apple was delicious, and service was friendly. At $4 a pop, it ain't cheap, but I'm happy to support the local small beach town businesses. We asked what time they usually close, and we were told about 4:30 or 5 p.m. every day. Based on this experience alone, my review would've had a higher rating. However, we returned the next day around 3:30, and it was closed. With parched throats, we sadly drove back to our beach house. We returned again today at 3 p.m., and it was closed... again. Every day we've been here, the weather has been perfectly hot and sunny, and plenty of people have been out and about. I don't get it. Along with shaved ice flavors like pink lemonade, root beer, watermelon, passion fruit, and tangerine, Island Ice offers hot dogs and chili dogs.... when they're actually open, of course. I like to play hard-to-get sometimes, but not when it comes to food.
