The menudo was phenomenal. The broth was rich and flavorful, the portion was generous, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I also appreciated having the option of bread with it. It was exactly what I've been looking for and easily the best menudo I've had since moving to Amarillo. We also ordered a brisket burrito, and it was excellent. It was generously filled, flavorful, and substantial enough to satisfy a very hungry grown man. The red and green salsas were both delicious, and even the chips stood out: fresh, crisp, and perfectly crunchy. What really elevated the experience, though, was the hospitality. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming without feeling overly polished or impersonal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it was genuinely nice to see people smiling and enjoying their work. The service felt warm and natural, with exactly the right amount of attention. And the value was fantastic. We had more than enough food for two people and spent around $23. Great food, generous portions, excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Good Day Burritos managed to hit every mark. After years of searching Amarillo for a menudo that reminded me of what I was accustomed to in Arizona, I finally found it. The bean chalupa and bean burrito extra cheese are my favorites. Everyone in my family loves the taco burgers. The salsa is so good!
