I'm starting to look like a pretzel addict, but it's merely a coincidence. I've only had 2 pretzels in the past year and it just so happens both were in the same week. I would normally refrain from reviewing Auntie Anne's. You already know what to expect when you go there, however I feel the need to give this location some major proppage. My co-worker and I hit up the mall food court and she told me about the 2/$5 pretzel dogs, so we stopped by. The line was slow moving and we were in a hurry, so I felt the need to tap my foot -- that is until I saw WHY the line was slow moving. A lady was quietly disputing the bill until she didn't get her way then it turned into a flat out brawl. She started yelling at the employees about the price and the specials. Apparently there are two concurrent running promotions, the 2/$5 dogs and buy 3 items, get 1 free. She ordered 4 items and wanted the 4th one free instead of the 2/$5. Now I'm no pricing expert on Auntie Anne's so I'm not sure if what she was requesting was a significantly better deal or not, but it physically hurts me to see people treated so poorly by the general public. She handled it well though and took it all in stride. Once I made it to the counter, she was very nice and you couldn't even tell she'd just taken a verbal beating for the last 5 minutes. My pretzel was fine -- not life changing or anything but I don't think Auntie Anne's ever has been. I do, however, think that employees like this deserve to be recognized. read more

I am writing to share a very troubling experience I had at your location on 7/5/26. While I was in the food court area, I witnessed two of your employees arguing loudly behind the counter. One was working the register and the other was preparing pretzels. Their argument quickly escalated to the point where it could be heard from multiple nearby stores, drawing the attention of other customers and employees. The language being used was extremely loud and inappropriate for a workplace, especially in front of customers. The situation made the entire area feel tense and uncomfortable. When I attempted to step in and politely say that it was not appropriate to speak to a coworker that way, one of the employees turned toward me and began yelling at me as well, again using very inappropriate language. He then forcefully pushed open the bifold doors and went to the back of the store, where he remained for some time. I spoke with the other employee and asked who the manager was and where they were. He told me the manager's name is Nina and stated that this kind of behavior from his coworker happens often, and that the manager is aware of it. Regardless of whether the employee was having a bad day or unhappy with the job, it is never acceptable to speak to a coworker--or a customer--in that manner. No employee should have to come to work worried about being yelled at by another non‑manager, and no customer should be subjected to that kind of behavior. What concerns me even more is the suggestion that this was not the first incident and that management is aware. If that is the case, it is very disappointing that the issue has not been addressed and that these two employees are still being scheduled together. I hope you will take this feedback seriously, investigate what occurred on 7/5/26, and ensure that your employees and customers are treated with the basic respect and professionalism they deserve. read more

I was here today (9/16/23) because I was in a nearby store when a young girl was having a medical episode. While the mom stayed with her daughter, I ran over to Auntie Anne's and ran to the head of the line to get a lemonade and pretzel. I'm sure there were some disgruntled people in line but most were understanding. The manager quickly gave me a pretzel and lemonade and told me "go!" and refused to take my money. The girl is ok - she and her mom took some time as she ate and drank. I stopped by again to thank the manager (and give him some money) for helping the girl get well enough to head home. Great service - very thankful for Auntie Anne's help in a crisis! read more

I love this location. I used to come here all the time when I worked in the Yorktown mall. Now I work nearby again and have been coming back weekly over the past year and a half. The staff is always friendly and extremely attentive and the pretzels are always fresh and well made. The workers always have a great attitude and ensure that customers are taken care of in a timely manner. The work area is always very clean as well. read more

Checked Auntie Anne's website before heading out, it said Yorktown location is open till 8pm. Got there at 7:05pm and they were closed. Counters were cleaned, no inventory of any kind anywhere to be seen, everything was packed away. So they closed way before 7pm. Waste of gas and time. read more

Almost $7 for a bare bones pretzel and cheese cup. I open the cheese cup and the cheese is separated because it's a prepackaged cheese cup such a value for almost seven dollars! Heck I'll buy frozen ones from now on. read more

the guy at the checkout counter was an absolute prick. snapped at me multiple times and started trying to serve the people behind me before i was even done paying. also the pretzel was trash. go to oakbrook mall if u want a good pretzel. that one is much better than this one. read more

Staff was abrasive and was completely unaware of their own deals and policies. I wanted to take advantage of the large bucket of nuggets and two medium drinks and was barely allowed to order this, as they gave me a hard time completing my order, and was unable to receive the drinks I wanted. Despite the advertisement showing that a customer could have any of the flavored lemonades I was only allowed to choose between regular lemonade or soda. I was only told this, however, after I had already ordered and paid. I would have preferred to have the drink of my choice even if there was an up charge but since I was already being treated like an inconvenience I decided to just be unhappy with my order. I will likely never order from this Auntie Anne's again and will choose a different mall going forward. read more

I don't have any complaints at this location. This store is very clean and the staff is friendly. This is one of the locations they offer buy 3 pretzels get 1 free. I came in when they didn't have enough regular pretzels so I waited for three minutes and got amazingly fresh, hot pretzels. Very satisfied! read more

The food court is sparkling and brand spanking new, so I half expected decent from this chain pretzel joint. WRONG! The teenager at the register was frazzled by the long line of customers. Half understandable, he's a kid...but, he wasn't alone. He had a few baker ladies with him. My friend and I ordered the glazed raisin. Kid told us 7 minutes. Okay, we wait. And wait. And wait. Finally, 15 minutes later, we're making so much dang noise trying to get the teen's attention, a baker asks us what we need. Lo and behold, our pretzel variety was long ready, they just totally forgot about us. Okay, it's a mall pretzel joint, not a 3 Michelin star restaurant. We leave with our warm pretzels. We' re happy until upon opening the bag, the little glaze containers are missing. read more

Now that the Food Court has been reshaped to just be Subway, Sbarro, and Auntie Anne's across from Egg Harbor, it is quite a disappointing setting for a food service restaurant in a mall that is trying to re-shape itself. The line was pretty long and took a while to process considering their limited offerings at this location. There's no jalapeno pretzel. Just the plain with their powdered flavors $2.99 each. They also had pretzel bites, bagel dogs, and a pepperoni pretzel but this location did not publicly display any co-workers making the pretzels and just made me want to leave rather than actually eat here, even with a groupon. read more

Yummy. My favorites are the classic and the sugar coated pretzels. The lemonades great too. Really not much to say, its a classic mall chain that is up to its standards. read more

This place is a good stop for some quick pretzels and other sugary goodies. Their cinnamon sugar pretzels are quite tasty. They usually have most pretzels prepared so there is no wait time. I love the lemonade slushy that they have as well. It is great on a hot summer's day! read more

Do NOT go to this Auntie Annes! TERRIBLE customer service! I stopped there on my lunch break for something to eat as I was starving, ordered an original pretzel and large lemonade. The girl handed me the pretzel and drink, I put a straw in my drink while she ran my credit card. I stood there for 5 minutes when she then said "I'm sorry our credit card machine is not working I tried running your card 5 times and it keeps timing out." I had no cash on me and when I told her that she said "I'm sorry" and took the food and drink back. Good customer service would have been giving me the food and drink and then telling other customers in advance that the system was down. It is not my fault that they cannot accept my payment and they did not tell me in advance. If they would have told me up front I would have spent my time in a different line instead of going without lunch all day. On top of that if they understood sanitation laws they are going to have to throw away the pretzel and drink anyway so they might as well let the customer keep it since THEY (Auntie Annes) are the ones at fault! Unless you just want a soda, keep walking. I needed a quick snack, so I stopped for a pretzel. Too bad it tasted like dish soap. Took it back and complained, was given a fresh new one which also tasted of soap. I ended up throwing most of it away. read more
