It was worth the trip we had to travel a lot better than we used to. I live in Bloomingdale and we usually find places to eat that are 8 to 10 minutes away. We got there I knew what I was getting right away. My friends had to think about it for a while because they had so many different things on the menu--BBQ Ribs, Italian Beef, Souvlaki Chicken or Pork, and more. The dinners were about $20 each--but it was worth every penny--each serving included a Greek Salad, Seasoned Potatoes, and the main entree. I ran into a guy who also recommended the Gyros. My two friends both ordered the Souvlaki Chicken. The chicken was on two skewers. Both of them took home doggy bags because it was a lot of food! Service was great-- the staff was friendly and, even though the customers were to pick up the food themselves, a guy named "Will" helped me by carrying the meals to our table. It appeared that a tip was not expected. As far as ambiance, the dining area was relatively small. There were both seats and chairs, but they also offered outdoor dining. I often judge a restaurant by the condition of their rest rooms. They only had one co-ed bathroom and it needed much attention--unclean and the toilet was clogged with toilet paper. The staff are really nice and when I asked them if they had a gyro salad that I could order because I didn't see it on the menu they said they could make it. It came piled with nicely cooked gyro slices and the Greek salad underneath was loaded with fresh slices of cucumbers, onions, tomatoes and a bunch of feta and Kalamata olives. The salad came with tzatziki and packages of Greek dressing but I asked for a pita on the side and made myself a gyro with some of the salad. Even with a packed sandwich there was still plenty of meat left to enjoy with the salad. For $14 it was a good value too. Looking forward to being back the next time I'm in the mood for a gyro or any of the other tasty looking things on their menu.
