I only ever stop by here when there's no line. If there's a line, chances are things will move slowly. Not to mention the line always seems to block the flow of shoppers and I absolutely hate that. I don't want to add to the problem. With that said, when there's no one there, it's a great stop for a quick mall food staple. The employees are fine. They're there for the paycheck. They'll exchange basic pleasantries but aren't looking for any serious interaction. That's fine. I'm usually not either. Food quality is good. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I'm always seeming to get pretzels that were freshly made so they're hot & tasty. They also don't skimp on the salt or cinnamon sugar which I definitely appreciate. I want as much topping as possibly on my pretzel. And this location will give it to ya! What can you say about a staple for a quick snack of many malls besides what all the other reviews say. Well, I will tell you. It's all about the Pretzel Bucket, don't know what that is? You need to know if you have more than a couple people wanting pretzels. We always grab a snack here while at the mall, but recently the bucket caught our eyes. Sounds like a lot and it is, but so worth it if you have 3-4 people in your group, go for the bucket. We had 4 people all ate until we were more than full and still had a few left. You can get your choice of pretzel nuggets with or without salt, the cinnamon ones and the pretzel dogs (although I think the dogs are more, but not much and still worth it) To get the bucket, allow 15 minutes or so for your order. They basically take one of the trays you see them making the pretzels on and covers the entire thing, bakes them fresh and then the start packing them into the bucket and they really pack it in, the entire tray goes in just for you! Fresh hot Pretzel nuggets good to go. Not only is the bucket a good deal at only $24.99 with plenty for a group of 3-4 or more, but it also comes with two free drinks of your choice (Freezes are included) what a deal! The drinks alone I think are usually $3+ each for the freeze. A small nuggets maybe $4, a large close to $6, so at $24.99 you are saving a good amount of you have 4 people for example and everyone gets a drink and a snack separately. Make sure you download their rewards app, The other good thing is when you buy the bucket and scan your points, you immediately get a free item as you earn 250 points, so bonus. I finally decided to get something from Auntie Anne when I was inside Northridge mall. It been a while for me but when we walked past it, I saw the Pepperoni Pretzel nuggets and wanted to try it. When we walked past it the first time, there was a long line so we went to visit some other stores first. When we came back, the line was gone and I was able to order right away. I was shocked on how much just 1 cup of Pepperoni pretzel was. The price of it was more than a full Hot N Ready pizza from Little Caesars. If you wanted some dipping sauces for the pretzel, that would be extra as well. The pretzel was okay to me, not like out of this world but for the price I paid I think I would've been better off ordering a full pizza elsewhere. So would I go back and try ordering again from here, that would be a no but it's good to have at least once in a while. read more

Too expensive 12 bucks is crazy for the original pepperoni pretzels and the service was ok but it could be better

We went here to do the buy 3 get 1 free deal that they were advertising. When they first rang up my order they didn't apply the deal. When I asked them to apply the deal, it looked like they did because money was removed from the total, but apparently all he did was delete one of the items. I didn't realize he had actually deleted it instead of applying the deal like I had asked until he only gave me 3 items. When I asked for the 4th item that he deleted he told me he couldn't give me the deal and charged me full price for it. Instead of arguing and holding up the line & letting my child go hungry, I just paid it and left but I am not happy about my experience. It's only $12 in the grand scheme of things but the workers were acting like we were such a burden for us asking questions when we were being so polite about it. We just wanted to know. The female worker there even rolled her eyes at us. Kindness goes a long way, and I hope a manager is reading this so they can touch base with their team with the type of service they're offering. read more

I ordered the Blue raspberry lemonade frost. The drink looked nothing like the picture at all. They're supposed to layer the sweet sauces in between the lemonade. I've ordered it before from another auntie anne and it looked exactly like the picture. I pointed at this picture and so I know I didn't order the wrong drink either. I took a picture of the drink right next to the poster they have. All the sweet milk is at the bottom and they only put blue sauce on the top of the whip cream. I saw them make it and they literally put no sweet milk or blue sauce in between. So when I went to drink it all I tasted was pure sweet milk. I tried to mix it but it's impossible. Even tho this place is supposed to close at 9pm, the ladies working here did not close. They had a line of people and kept helping all of the their customers. And they were friendly! Amazing customer service. This was May 14. Employees like that deserve a raise. This awesome pretzel shop is on the upper level near the Macy's. You may expect a line, but they are super fast. I got the almond pretzel and cinnamon pretzel bites. The cinnamon bites were my favorite. They were piping hot, soft, and oh so much cinnamon! The almond one was delicious with lots of crunch. Stopped by on national pretzel day and got a large cinnamon pretzel bites for free with a purchase of another pretzel. I had no idea there was a national pretzel day. I'm learning something new all the time. I highly recommend the sweet almond pretzel and the cinnamon pretzels. My son liked the almond better than the cinnamon. The cinnamon is a bit sweeter so if you don't have a sweet tooth the almond is the way to go. The only issue was that I had to wait for the cinnamon bites but hey I ain't gonna complain about it being made fresh. read more

I received $100 worth of free pretzel coupons from being a guest at The Talk. I was in the mall shopping last week and decided to stop here and have me a free pretzel. I present my certificate and the guy working behind the counter told me I could only choose one of three pretzels - plain, cinnamon and jalapeño, however looking more closely at my coupon, it said any variety. So, I asked why I was limited to only those three? He didn't have an answer so he asked one of his co workers who was busy making more pretzels because at that time, they only had plain pretzels available. She was so busy, but she looked at the coupon and said to give us what we want. So I chose the cinnamon pretzel and my friend chose the pizza nuggets. They weren't really nice about it. I just asked the question, I would have been okay with choosing from the three but if not, I'd at least like to know why not. Incidentally, I dropped my pretzel On the ground in the parking lot (lol) and didn't feel like going to back to get another. I decided to go to another location at a later date to use another coupon. The mini dogs are always cooked nice and the pretzel wrapping is full of flavour and soft delicious. I recommend the upper level more than the bottom floor. Did a large catering order for our doctors at the hospital, there were multiple issues with the order none of which were the actual locations fault but rather the online ordering process that auntie Anne's corporate has set up. I reached out to their corporate customer help number out of desperation and was called back immediately by the franchise owner of the location I ordered from, Linda. It's clear Linda truly cares about the experience her customers receive and helped resolve all the issues of my order. She's been in contact with me and followed up every step of the way. It's too bad Linda is just a franchise owner because I guarantee Auntie Anne's corporate would be running without issues like this if she was in charge of the whole operation! I am so geeked right now. I just got my pretzels and they are delicious. My family and I went to the mall to receive my free birthday pretzel which is available to everyone who downloads their app and joins their birthday club. Wr also are t-mobile customers so we got a coupon for BOGO. We got 5 pretzels today for the price of 2. We got two pepperoni, two sweet and one almond. The almond was not sweet enough but my hubby liked it. The pepperoni one was surprisingly tasty. I thought it would be dry but it tasted great. The sweet one was my favorite: soft, sweet and delicious. I'm so happy and I can't wait for next Tuesday since they are supposed to have more coupons for more free pretzels next week. Also just a tip, come through Macy's, using the ramp leading to the food court and exit into the mall... you'll end up right at the restaurant. There are two Auntie Anne's at Northridge. After writing this review, you'll all probably go to the location I go to. I go to the 1st Floor near the Sears Store. The one upstairs near Macy's is always PACKED. There is only one thing I get at Auntie Anne's....a Jumbo Pretzel Dog ($4.84). I've never gotten a pretzel or anything else. It always buttery and delicious. What else to say, but I always walk with great joy when I have a Jumbo Pretzel Dog and walk down the Northridge Fashion Square like I was a millionaire. Very, very overpriced pretzels but oh so tasty! Once in awhile they have specials have Groupons even though they are still expensive even with a Groupon (4 pretzels for $9 but I often can find a promo code). My favorite pretzel from here is the cinnamon sugar. I had a sour cream and onion one last time but it tasted really rancid. Oh man just writing this review is making me crave a pretzel. The line here is ridiculously long every time I come. Yes, it does move kind of quick, but still requires a wait. Most of the associates that work there are young kids that fool around most of the time, but you sometimes get those really nice and respectful associates that want to make your experience a pleasant one. Most of the time, the cashiers are great with customer service. I highly recommend the salted pretzel with cheese, pepperoni pizza with marinara sauce and the pretzel dog with ketchup. I have absolutely no complaints about their pretzels, very soft and yummy! Much better than Wetzel's Pretzel's since they always burn their pretzels. The girl at the counter clearly wasn't listening to me at all. So they have $2 Tuesdays for pretzels and on the board they have 3 different pretzels on it. I wanted the cinnamon one and she tells me it's only sour cream that the special is for. So why the hell do you have other pretzels on the poster? Then she points to another board BEHIND the one I initially saw and it says sour cream. I told her they need to move that to the front so potential customers can see it.
