I ordered Almond Crunch Pretzel. It was so good. I always order original pretzel. Glad this time I decided to get a different one. It was very tasty and fresh. This Wetzel's location was very clean. Shelves were clean. The counter was very clean and no trash sitting around. This location is I a booth in Northridge mall. It is located close to the dinning area of the mall. Came in because I had a coupon for a free pretzel. I ordered and handed the cashier the coupon. She was confused by it and left me at the counter to go as another staff member. They talked and then came back to the counter without acknowledging me and talked some more. Then staff said I'm not allowed to use this on the pretzel I wanted only the salt pretzel when they coupon clearly says any pretzel I mentioned it and they didn't let me get the pretzel I wanted (jalapeño cheese) they said I can only get the ones already ready. super disappointed as I don't eat meat so I didn't want the pepperoni one. I was given the wrong amount of change. The total came out to 20.82 I gave the cashier 21 and they said I needed more (which was weird) so I gave 41 there was miscommunication. Never received my change back receipt says 0. Cashier was doing their job couldn't issue me a refund on the spot but didn't know how to print the receipt. But moving forward they should be putting in the correct amount in the system. Called the store they stated they checked the register said that they did not find the extra in the registers. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about for this location. Come here all the time and have never had a bad experience. Come on people show some love for this location. The line can get long, but goes fast. Think about if you had to deal with temperamental customers all day, I think they do a great job. Normally we get the Wetzel's Bitz, but do get pretzels from time to time as well. Both are good, tonight we got the bitz fresh as they came out of the oven. Piping hot and sooo good. Gourmet style Cinnamon and good old original with salt. Paired with a drink and some mustard perfect snack after a day of shopping. We had to wait about 5 minutes to get the fresh ones, but so worth it. They brought out drink samples a couple times while we were waiting, we had to test them out, so bonus as well. How a single employee can destroy your business. I gave the attendant the opportunity to remedy the burnt order and she said that that's how the cheese cooks. As each mini dog in a cheese wrap was lifted more charred food emerged. The cheese wasn't the only burnt ingredient. Burnt bread, burnt dogs,... burnt employee. My order looked nothing like the picture presented by the company. Mine looked like this. My cheesy mini dogs from this evening 5/15/18. Today we ordered online....apparently there is no such way of ordering? I went to the mall to get the order and was told that NO Wetzel Pretzel location can take an order online. $45 order and I had to reorder and pay a 2nd time. Called the phone number on the email receipt and it went to the girl at the counter who said no online orders. Then we called the other number that says Contact Us and it goes to a personal cell phone. No answer multiple times we called. $90 of pretzels and one of the cheese cups was opened on the corner, bad, and smelled gross. Won't go here again. I made the worst mistake, should of waiting to go to chipotle or waited in line to get fries because the pretzels were so greasy and salty. The chesse was the worse cheese I ever tasted. I feel like it was mixed with lard. It's disgusting what a waste of money I spent $6 you can spend elsewhere even if you have to wait a while for what you really want don't settle for less. Today I had a terrible experience with one of the workers, Mariana. After ordering my food, before even entering my card in the chip reader to pay, she just walked away to put the food together, she did not say a word to me. Once she came back to hand me my order I was still standing in front of the register for my receipt. As I stood there waiting for my receipt she didn't say anything at all to me and started talking to one of the other workers, I finally had to say something to her to get my receipt. Once I received my receipt I noticed a sign I front of the other register that said "If you don't get a receipt, your order is FREE. Ask to speak to the manager on duty." I brought the sign up to Mariana and she gave me the most disgusted face and rolled her eyes saying I need to have walked away in order to get my order free. I told her she completely finished the transaction and I needed to ask her for my receipt or else I would have left without it. I honestly didn't care about the money but as I walked away I realized how bad she made me feel just for pointing out the offer that's on their own cash register. Mariana made me feel disrespected and looked down on as if I couldn't afford my own food. Because I was so upset about how I was treated I came back to speak to the manager on duty and was told I would have to wait for her to come back from her 30 minute break. I was so upset about how she made me feel I decided to wait. Once the manager on duty arrived I had no idea and apparently none of the girls working told her I was waiting to speak with her. I felt so embarrassed about the whole situation my younger sister had to ask the worker who just walked in, Jazmin (who's badge did not mention she was the manager) and let her know we were waiting to speak with the manager. My younger sister explained to her the situation and Jazmin did not say a word back to us or even apologize. After Jazmin was trying to bring up my order with Mariana and they "couldn't find it" the only thing she said during this entire transaction was to ask what we ordered. My younger sister told her and she just stuck out her hand with the refund, again did not apologize or at least say "here you go." I am 26 years old and have a BA and studying for my Master's and work a full time job. It annoys me that these workers were very rude and condescending towards me as if I could not pay for a meal. I don't believe you should be working in customer service if you cannot at least attempt to be friendly. Is this for the mall location ???? I love me wetzles! I came by here looking for a good lemonade (which I got) and a salted pretzel which I did not get. I came to the counter and waited a bit while the high school looking girls argued about who was going to serve me argued and finally little miss attitude comes over "yes?" I don't get a hello. No greeting or welcome as I do the usual locations...so I order my lemonade and for a pretzel and she repeats herself like 3 times "salted or unsalted" and I told her salted. She gathers my items and places them next to her at register and I pay and she walks away. No thank you or nothing it was dumb enough I had to reach over the counter to get my stuff and walk away. So obviously my pretzel was unsalted.... Note to manager: please hire a more friendly and professional staff. I've been to this mall several times in the past and I've always been tempted to try the hotdogs in the Wetzels kiosk. There weren't any on display yet so I went up to the counter and asked when they would be ready. The girl told me it'd take about 10 mins for a fresh one. I told her it was okay and that I'd come back later for the pick up. I left for about 6 mins and walked by the kiosk again and my pretzel was already waiting for me! There was a long line but the girl that had helped me waved me over to the front of the register and handed me my fresh pretzel. I'm not sure why this store gets a bad rep based on the reviews I've read because the employees were extremely nice and helpful. People need to learn to wait for their orders and not rush employees if they expect to get good service. Will definitely stop by again. read more

This review is for the location on the first floor by the Apple store. I ordered the pretzel bites for $6.01. After checking the money I had in my wallet I gave the lady behind the counter $6.00. Because I didn't have a penny she refused to give me my order. I thought she was joking but she was dead serious. She asked me if I had any loose change and I said no. She said she couldn't give me the order because I didn't have a penny. I can understand if I was $1 or more short but one penny. I always get pretzels from this location and the one in the TO Mall. Because of this employee and my experience they lost a good customer. I own a take out restaurant and if my customers were short one penny or even $1 I would still give them there food with no questions asked. In closing, I was ashamed and embarrassed to ask someone walking by for a penny. That person was shocked as well when I told her what happened. She actually was going to get something to eat as well but decided not to after my experience. read more
