I had a bad experience here and will not come back and have written to corporate and they received my email and are making things right but I'm still going to rate this store a one star and be careful with any coupons. Just use you're coupon for free pretzel or or whatever first and if you want drink or something else, add it in a separate transaction as far as that goes, the coupon was used for my order, and I was charged the amount, but after she told me, it was 10 minutes for the pretzel she came back to the register to tell me that I owe money and I told her no I don't so apparently she kept telling me that it didn't go through and I told her that the charge went through it is pending on my account (I checked ) but she kept arguing with me. I told her I will give cash even though I know that they were wrong but she was rude and unprofessional and couldn't realize in her brain that the amount I owed was what was deducted NOT what I owed because their system was down so she couldn't figure that out? I went back inside. She gave me cash back for the wrong amount that I paid , that is when email corporate .. they need to know their system was down and I shouldn't been paying more when I didn't owe anything .. they made it right, but I won't go to this location no more ! They were also not on the list of locations when you're trying to send a comment to auntie Anne so this is probably a problem here at Oakbrook anyway another customer stopped me outside to let me know that she has the same issues with that same employee so basically definitely don't get a drink here or at any auntie Anne because it's expensive and use your coupon separately! read more

Pay attention to the 1 star reviews they are accurate. I've come to this location but it's never been as bad as what I just experienced. My mom and I waited 10-15 mins outside in line in the heat just to be disrespected once we came into the store. The grown man who was taking orders was extremely rude. It was my mom's birthday and she was coming to get her free pretzel with her coupon on her app. My mom wanted a cinnamon pretzel and the grown man said you'll have to wait 10 mins for that. Why wait?? When you just opened at 10 or 11am mind you it was 12:30 in the afternoon. If you don't have the product ready don't open for business. So rightfully so my mom didn't want to wait 10 more mins when we were already waiting 10-15 mins to get in the store. So she asked for the cinnamon nuggets instead for her convenience. The grown man wanted to go back and forth with her telling her no getting loud with her saying you have to get a pretzel, no exceptions. So Norma I guess she's the manager finally decided to honor my mom's request and gave her the nuggets. My issue with these individuals is why do workers of this business and location think its ok to argue with customers?? Why does this grown man think he can talk to people any kind of way especially in these times and on her birthday? I surely hope he doesn't disrespect his mom like he did mine. I don't appreciate it at all and I let him know that. Would he have talked to any other customer like that if it was a different race or ethnicity? They turned a paying customer away 5min prior to close, meanwhile gave away 2 cups of pretzel bites to an employees relative for free, right as the employee is telling me they are closed. And the people getting handed the pretzels stated their relative is an employee. They had locked the door at 7:55pm and posted closed sign. I was out shopping at Oakbrook Mall and it had me a bit hungry for something quick to eat. The line is usually all the way out the door. I was lucky to only be the 3rd person in line. I went in the other day and the manager Norma was so disrespectful. I asked for a cup of water and she didn't even give any explanation as to why just flat out said "no" in the rudest tone. I asked why just curious as I've gotten one before and it didn't seem like an issue. She ignored me! I asked for a receipt because I wanted to do the survey and she threw it away and said something to a boy in Spanish and they laughed and continued to ignore me. It's so unprofessional and I'm telling everyone never to go to this location as they have no professionalism and they straight up treat you with no respect. Other coworkers have been nice but I don't think I've ever had a good experience with the MANAGER herself. How are you going to be the manager and have employees better than her? If you want to experience rude employees Auntie Anne's Oakbrook is the perfect location. Irma is very rude and doesn't acknowledge you. She doesn't fully listen to what you wanna order and has some nasty attitude. I wish they were more friendly but I guess not possible. Whenever I visit the mall I like to enjoy a fresh pretzel from Auntie Anne's during my adventures. However, today was not one of those days because the staff refused to make me a fresh pretzel at my request. On multiple occasions I've tried the pretzels under the heat lamp and I just don't like them as they're often dry. The cashier explained to me that she couldn't make me a fresh pretzel because they needed to move through the product that they already have in the window. Lately I've been going to Auntie Anne's for a cup of ice and it hasn't been a problem. I know i come there everyday for a cup of ice. I don't mind paying whatever it costs. Lately one of the employees who wears glasses with a short cut has been very nasty rude and mean to me. Literally every time i come in there she's being very rude to me for no reason. Until something is done with that employee i will not be spending any money in that establishment.
