He was extremely kind, courteous, and attentive while keeping up with the busy tables. Really makes a difference! And the FOOD! Omg amazing. Super fresh, tasty, and homemade with very generous portions If you aren't into beer, fear not because the cocktails are SO GOOD! I had the margarita and it was delicious and strong! The prices are not bad at all considering how delicious everything was. Come here instead of going out to the overhyped and over priced commercialized restaurants in Oak Brook.. I returned here for a catchup session, and unbelievably to me, it's been over 3 years since I was last here.  More Brewing is still a most excellent pub with excellent beer and food offerings. On this coldish Wednesday winter evening, it wasn't as busy and boisterous as our previous visits, and that was just fine for our usual catchup party of 3.  Sam was our fine and attentive server and she adequately took care of the whole dining room on this night. Arriving at 5:30pm, we took advantage of Happy Hour and had 6 beers by 6pm for $5 each.  We also had a cheese curds appetizer for $10 (discounted from regular $12). I had my usual 3 beers for our catchup session, namely: - Moreover hazy IPA, 6.5% ABV - Mango Double Marbles Imperial IPA, 8.0% ABV - Appetizer hazy IPA, 5.5% ABV For food, I had their chicken tikka masala platter for $22.  My colleagues had a high steak sandwich with salad ($20), and an Italian Beef with fries ($18).  All were delicious.  There is now a 3% credit card fee.  Overall, still one of the best Chicagoland brewpubs around. read more

Visited More Brewing in Villa Park on a Wednesday evening with a larger group. The inside was very industrial looking and I loved that they had the brewing equipment on display. The main dining area is rather large and it's easy to push tables together to accommodate a bigger group. I loved that they not only have a wide variety of house brewed beers but also wines and full bar for cocktails. Anything on tap, one can try a small taster of before ordering a full glass. To start, we tried the Italian Beef Egg Rolls and House Pretzel. The Egg Rolls came as a four count with a side of sauce. The flavor was good but we definitely could have ordered two. The House Pretzel was easy to share as a group of 8 where everyone got a good portion. For mains, we all got a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, and some of their Indian offerings. I got the Smoked Maple BLT with Truffle Fries which I loved. The Tonkatsu Curry Bowl and Somosas were also stand out dishes. The food prices are a bit of a premium but portions are decent. The beer selection had a wide variety and the sour options were a group favorite. Our waitress was wonderful about splitting checks, keeping an eye on us, and always having a smile on her face. Note: There is street parking in front but also a lot behind the building to park in. Tip: Check out their events calendar to enjoy free entertainment. Decent atmosphere. Food was not great. Order the pepperoni pizza and it was mostly bread. I also ordered what they call a bananas foster but it actually had no bananas in it except for three of the tiniest slices you could imagine. I questioned the server about it and he talked to the chef and the chef said that the bananas were more of an accent to the dish. So basically they charge me $12 for a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and a couple cinnamon churros and three tiny slices of banana and they tried calling that a banana fosters dessert. The menu selection isn't huge, but I don't go to a brewery place for a huge selection. Ordered the big pretzel and the burger and they were phenomenal. The burger was done perfect and quick. The pretzel was like a dream come true. In all honesty, I could've just had a pretzel for dinner and I would've been perfectly happy but my diet said I had to have a burger also. The service was very good and relatively quick. The place was not packed, but it wasn't empty. More Brewing has become my go to place to enjoy some really good craft beers and delicious food. I stop in after work to take advantage of their happy hour deals that include $5 pints and several items from their food menu. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3-6. They have a large dining area with a long bar so there is plenty of seating. The wait staff are very friendly and attentive especially Vicky who has a great personality and offers good recommendations when it comes to picking something off of their food menu. I have become somewhat of a regular because of the great vibe at More. This establishment is family friendly and for young people to enjoy themselves after work. read more

I went there to meet old coworkers for an early dinner. The staff was attentive and nice the entire time there. I ordered just the tenders and it came with no french fries although they were an option). They came out as the other food we ordered and was in good timing. They were obviously made to order and not just thrown in a microwave from a frozen container. They had a very good crisp and tasty crunch on the outside and the chicken itself was a good a great temperature, texture and taste altogether. Although it may have lacked a bit of seasoning, it made up for it in the choice of 2 (of about 5 ) sauce options. I think I got Buffalo and Tangy BBQ. Returned to the beers of More Brewing. On our first beer experience with their beers we had a couple fruited beers which weren't too bad but definitely very sweet and I was interested in trying different beer types from those next time. So we had To The Trees which is an IPA which has then aroma of Grapefruit and Pine. Sipping the beer you should detect floral and lemongrass notes with some noticeable bitterness. The beer is crisp and clean in aftertaste. The beer is quite crushable also. Despite a lot of promise with this IPA in the end I wasn't too terribly impressed by it nor did I see it as being all that memorable and perhaps the fruited beers is what I liked best after all when trying out their beers. As a huge fan of hefty stouts and barleywines I was excited to get in to More and sample some of their less-released variations. The space is nice and open and the staff was perfectly nice. It was an off hour so pretty sleepy with a few folks snacking on the ubiquitous brewpub pretzels. They didn't have the rarer releases I wanted to try so we went with a few of the more standard versions of their stouts. I wasn't super impressed, unfortunately. It all had a very heavy, cloying, motor oil mouthfeel and was just overwhelming. I'd like to try their other taproom to get some of the higher-rated beers. Given how ubiquitous brewpubs are in the area I'm not too pressed to try their food but wouldn't be upset about it! read more

I absolutely love More Brewing! This location is awesome. Always excellent service and good vibes. I prefer to sit at the bar and we're always treated very well by the staff. I'm in love with their beers! There isn't a beer I tried that I haven't liked. Then again, I'm not picky when it comes to good beer. I really enjoy fruity sours and they have some incredibly good ones. Their variety of beers in general makes coming here worth it every time. Their beer flights are reasonable and the way to go. You get 4 beers in 5oz glasses and they'll have you feeling pretty good. Their food is way better than I expected. First time I came here with a friend, we were both happy with the menu options and food quality. Better than the food menu at Bartlett (never been to their Huntley location). We both ordered the quesabirria tacos and they were delicious!! Tonight, I came here with my boyfriend and ordered the pork belly tacos. They were really good. My husband and I came here a few weeks ago, and we were both in love! We came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and because we came a little after opening, it was dead when we walked in, but by the time we left, it was pretty packed with people! The waiter we had was very patient and friendly, and he was always on top of everything we asked for/needed. Honestly, all of the workers seemed to be great at their jobs and personable. It's definitely a plus for the service industry, especially because good customer service seems to be hard to come by nowadays, especially in the restaurant industry. For my drink, I ended up ordering the Coral Riff sour beer ($7 for a 10oz draft), which is guava-flavored. It was honestly amazing, and it made me pucker because of how sour the taste was at times, but I would totally order it again. As an appetizer, we ordered the cheese curds ($11). These were so airy and soft. I am a huge texture eater, and let me tell you, these things had AMAZING texture. For my lunch, I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich ($16), and it did not disappoint. It was honestly one of the best Nashville hot chicken sandwiches I have had at a restaurant; the breading on the chicken was so airy and delicious and was made with so many spices. The chicken was HUGE, and the coleslaw on the sandwich was even delicious (I normally don't care too much for the coleslaw). My husband ordered the More Burger ($15) with bacon added, and he absolutely loved his, too. In addition, the food is amazing, and you get a ton of food for normal prices. None of the food is crazy expensive, and everything is comparably priced to other restaurants, if not cheaper for some items. We even both enjoyed the fries that our meals came with! Reid, our server last night, was a friendly guy who helped us put four 5oz glasses into our flight, which we downed with Italian beef egg rolls and cheese curds, which were really tasty. Ad for the beers, We liked the Octoberfest best and I was surprised that our other two top tastes were the fruity pineapple and the razberry. We were not at all impressed with the Farmhouse. My love and I went to More Brewing in Villa Park on a soggy Saturday afternoon as we tagged along with our couple friends on a whirlwind suburban brewery crawl. Since our Yelper friend Howard L asked me for my thoughts about More Brewing, I shall first start by saying that I loved our overall experience! We were at first all about the beer here. My love and I shared a flight of four beers, and I loved The Zipper : Calamansi, a weirdly-named Lemon Shandy with calamansi limes. Refreshingly fruity and delicious - we bought a four-pack of this one to go! We also enjoyed the Villa Pils, and the Malort Maibock and Malort Pilsner (crazy - two beers with Malort!), among other brews sampled by us. The food menu reads like a bunch of places at a food court mushed together, but I'd say we were all pleased with our selections. The menu listed three items in the Taste of India section, so I went out on a limb and ordered the Tikka Masala platter. Boy were my taste buds pleased! The sauce in the chicken tikka masala was slightly zingy but oh so delicious - I wish I could bottle that sauce and take it home with me! The platter also came with veggie biryani and naan bread for a stunningly scrumptious late lunch. My love went with the MoRE Burger and tacked on cheese curds as the side for a reasonable $3 upcharge. I didn't try the burger but the cheese curds were a crispy class act. Our friends were satisfied with the Cubano Al Pastor and Italian Beef egg rolls. We admired the craftsmanship inside More Brewing - the chairs embedded with the name of the venue, the wood and glass tables. Service was spot on, as we always had a vessel of water on our table. Someone broke a glass at another table, and the staff were very careful to sweep up the spill. Note the free parking to the side of the location. I've been to more 5-10 times at this point and still haven't reviewed?! Wow. The Villa park location is a bit off the beaten track but absolutely worth a stop in. They always seem to have a good rotation of about 20 drafts available, plus a few guest taps and cider options for those who aren't beer fans. They do everything very solid. I'm a normal IPA and stout guy, but the lagers and sours I've had have all been dialed in nicely. Drafts are priced well - usually around 3 bucks for a 5oz taster, 5-6 bucks for a 10-12oz glass, and 7-9 for a 16oz or heavier stout. You can definitely sample around with a few tasters and find what you're looking for. The food is always solid. This time I opted for the Tandoori chicken sandwich. I wished the slab of chicken was a big bigger as the bread basically overtook the meat, but the meat was tasty and seasoned well. The burger here is really solid. So is the bang bang chicken sandwich. Also have had the tikka masala plate which was fantastic and paired well with some of the IPAs. Love the fries here - they are like the double fried kind - so crunchy and delicious. We also got the birria nachos (seasonal item) this visit which was a huge bowl of nachos to share with plenty of toppings. So good. More remains a unique brewpub experience twenty miles west of the city, featuring a diverse lineup of food, beers, and spirits that few breweries can match. The food is actually where More shines, the best brewery food in Chicagoland, perhaps only rivaled by Old Irving Brewing in the city. While I do miss some of their pre-pandemic options (black bean burger, salmon and pineapple sandwich), they still put out some incredible food, from the southwest salad to the More burger to the incredible Indian options (my wife always gets the paneer masala, and the tandoori chicken sandwich is great as well). The beer is too notch as well, though not quite at the level of their early years. This happens when your original team leaves to form their own brewery, and then the succeeding two head brewers leave over the next few years as well. Some of the staples from years past don't quite hit the same high notes, but they do still shine in barrel-aging: their Mendhi series remains a knockout. I'm certain the chef has changed within the past year and as a result, I think the quality of the food has gone down. Wings aren't as crispy as they used to be, but the fries at least are still bomb. Tried a few new things on the menu and wasn't really impressed. The beer cheese bacon mac sounds amazing on paper, but it was under-seasoned, more akin to boiled pasta that went in an oven with a light layer of shredded cheese and breadcrumbs. The cajun shrimp tacos had great flavor with the toasted tortillas as a touch of crispiness, but the shrimp were wildly dry. The shrimp is on the smaller side, so I'm sure it's easy to overcook them. Had the seafood soup recently that was nice and spicy, so I would have that again if it was back on the menu. The Nashville hot chicken was quite dry too, so I've started to steer away from the chicken. Still, the redeeming factor is the beer. They produce some high-quality beers from rich stouts, tart sours, and hoppy IPAs. The beer has me coming back as well as the friendly staff, but I'm less likely to get food nowadays. read more

Service was fairly good. It was quick and friendly. The More beer I tried was Outward Darkness and I'm not really a beer drinker, but it was really good. Very nutty and creamy. It was delicious. My chicken salad had fresh ingredients, with crispy chicken with a really tasty balsamic dressing that was good. The truffle fries were decent. What happened to this place? The mantra of all that have stopped coming here. It was new, full of energy, great food and most importantly great beer. It's called More Brewing. We tried one more time tonight, and no. Now a depressing atmosphere, no one in charge, no manager, sticky floors, smelly like a bathroom. The fries. Still the best ever. That's where it ends. Hard to even find a drinkable beer with 14 choices of extra sour watermelon saissons the rest watery "pilsners" with creative names. Just sad. A brewery with the perfect location and no one caring to bring it back to life. Except apparently for the cameras mounted on the ceiling used to refute others leaving reviews here by recounting customers visits back to them. Terrible event experience and no response after escalation We hosted my husband's 50th birthday party at More Brewing Company in Villa Park on January 11, 2025, with high expectations. The venue itself was lovely, but unfortunately, the food service was a disaster--and the complete lack of follow-up has been even more disappointing. We coordinated in advance with their team, including Dylan the event planner, to arrange food for 80 guests (50 non-vegetarian, 30 vegetarian). Yet on the day of the event, approximately 25 guests--including my husband and me--were left without food. That's nearly one-third of our party. When we flagged this to the staff during the event, the response was baffling: they claimed guests "overate," and some vegetarians allegedly ate meat dishes, contributing to the shortage. We had to scramble to arrange food from a local restaurant at the last minute so our guests wouldn't leave hungry. Needless to say, this overshadowed the celebration we had planned for months. What's worse, I followed up multiple times with the ownership (Sunny and Perry Patel) over the last few months. Despite promises to "get back after checking with the team," they never followed through. I sent multiple emails, offered guest feedback and evidence of the shortage, and still received no resolution or even a basic acknowledgment. It's incredibly disappointing when a business doesn't take accountability--especially for private events where hosts trust that guests will be taken care of. I'm sharing this review so that others planning important events can make informed decisions. If you're considering More Brewing Company for a private event, I strongly suggest clarifying everything in writing and having backup plans--because if something goes wrong, you may not hear from them again.
