Providence Place mall has two Auntie Anne's pretzel locations, one near the DSW store and one near Macy's. Both provide the same menu with yummy pretzels (soft or nuggets), pretzel dogs, dips, etc...There's usually a line at either store and the fragrance of the pretzels really permeate throughout....really tempting. Auntie Anne's is an American franchised chain of pretzel shops founded by Anne F. Beiler and her husband, Jonas, in 1988. Auntie Anne's also offers Pretzels & More Homemade Baking Mix. The chain has more than 1,200 locations around various locations, such as in shopping malls and outlet malls, as well as non-traditional retail spaces including universities, parking/rest areas, airports, train stations, travel plazas, amusement parks, and military bases. Their slogan as of 2010 is "Pretzel Perfect". The cinnamon sugar soft pretzel is delicious....Just get one !

Auntie Anne's has the best pretzels. This location is on level 3 in the mall right after you get off the escalator. It's very hit or miss depending on what's available. You are able to scan and earn rewards on the app after you pay. Don't go to the location in the same level as the parking garage. They never have anything fresh!

I hate to give less than 4 stars. But I feel it is necessary here…read more Experience started off positive. Came in while it was slow on a Sunday afternoon and sat ourselves. Server came over to give us waters, came back quickly twice to take drinks then food orders. We were told our appetizers would come out shortly. Then we waited. Our food was finally brought out (all together). After we got everything we wanted more drinks. No one came back to check on the food or refill our drinks. Food was good, not great. The dipping sauces we ordered for the pretzel were really subpar. Beer cheese that was split and congealed, and guac that was dark and slimy. Everything else was decent. The standout part of the meal was actually the soup of the day, clam chowder. Cashing out with a gift card was a pain. We were also not provided an itemized receipt. The amount seemed way higher than expected. Either way, payment required two different transactions so we could tip on a credit card. Not their fault, but also our original server must have left, and the one that took over apparently was the only one on the floor even as the dining room started to fill up. Had we ordered more drinks like we wanted, it would have brought us over our gift card amount so we could have paid the remained with a credit card. I don't think we would go back.

If you live in Warren and haven't been to GG's Pretzels yet, what are you waiting for?…read more The shop itself is pretty no frills, but honestly that's fine; this is grab-and-go food at its core, not a sit-down experience. What matters are the pretzels, and on that front they deliver. Don't let the words "soft pretzel" conjure up images of a soggy mall kiosk situation, because that's not what's happening here. These are large, beautifully baked pretzels with a rich, pillowy interior and a deep golden crust that has more in common with a brioche than anything you'd find at an Auntie Anne's. We grabbed the classic salted and the sour cream and onion. The classic with yellow mustard for dipping is simple, satisfying, and delicious. The sour cream and onion had a generous coating of seasoning that hits you immediately and keeps delivering all the way through. Then there's the chocolate dipped pretzel rod situation. The display case is genuinely dangerous to stand in front of. There lots of varieties, covering everything from S'mores to Cranberry Pistachio to Heath Bar Caramel. We picked up the lemon and the GG's D'Lite. The lemon is bright and snappy; a perfect balance of sweet and tart that I keep coming back to. As for the D'Lite, I was told it tastes like a Samoa. If that holds up, I may have a new favorite on my hands. They also carry products from a handful of other local businesses, which is a nice bonus if you're looking to pick up a little something extra. Go in, grab a soft pretzel, they are warmed up while you wait, and I dare you to try and leave without a few rods from the case. Lol Pro tip: this is a tricky spot on a busy road and at first glance, looks like parking is even trickier, but there is a decent sized parking lot in the back that you can pull into from the front left of GG's or from the side street, Homestead Ave., and GG's has both a front and rear entrance so don't let this intimidate you.
