Walked in and I wasn't too busy. It's nice to have all those old rivers and the history of the place. I ordered two hotdogs and half a dozen clam cakes. Hotdogs came out warm and didn't have much flavor to them. Clam cakes were freshly fried, hot and crispy, but were lacking clams and a bit too salty. Need sauce at they were a bit dry.

Classic Fall River. I appreciate this place so much. They love love Fall River as much as we all do and have relics and memorabilia all over the walls along w school children drawings of local landmarks such as the battleship. And what is so amazing and what every business should have, they have a pay it forward program which allows customers to pay for someone who doesn't have enough money. How amazing. Once I was in there and during a busy lunch rush the owner came around the counter and sat with an older fellow she knew, he had on a veteran hat and was likely someone she knew for a long time, as they laughed and talked about the past. It's important to support places like this.

Two originals, just a perfect taste.

Truly a remarkable place. At this location since 1966, it's a spot you need to got to and sit down inside and have a couple Coneys. The taste is exceptional and I have had Coneys everywhere LOL, a great taste. The inside is full of pictures of memories from all over Fall River including the horrific burning down of Notre Dame of Fall River. There are also hundreds of other images and sections of children's school art too. A must visit and super reasonable prices too.

Best chowmein sandwich ever! Everyone was super friendly and happy to serve us, can't wait to go back and try everything on their menu.

FaNeeks is better than your average weenie joint. Around lunchtime, they have a line out the door of people looking for soup, weiners and their american chop suey. They've got a menu full of weiners, but my favorite is the coleslaw dog because they somehow turned a hotdog into a refreshing experience. Their Faneeks dog (with chourizo) is also great and heck so are their regular dogs (all the way). Chow mein sandwich was pretty ridiculous and if you love chow mein, you will lose your sh*t over this thing. Oh, and it's clean, cute, and has plenty of parking. What's not to love?

Coney Island Dogs were okay. Definitely wouldn't order the French fries again. Soggy and cold like they had been sitting around a bit.

The menu is a dream for coffee lovers, featuring everything from cold brew to a unique "cold brew espresso." While the nitro espresso was a bit lighter and less intense than I expected, it was a smooth, and paired well with my latte. The real highlights were the specialty lattes; the Vermonter was delicious, and the Fluffernutter latte was a creative, standout treat. I also loved the seasonal collaboration they had for Mother's Day, where a small floral pop-up was set up right inside the shop. It was so convenient to grab a beautiful bouquet and a great coffee all in one stop. I really enjoyed the vibe here and will definitely be back to work my way through the rest of their specialty latte menu!

My go to choices are the meat pie and the open faced cheese. I mean how do you go wrong with feta?! It's my favorite cheese and I want it on everything. I also purchase the Syrian/pita bread for my hummus and tabouli. Everything I have ever tried is always good and super fresh. Typically my grandparents or mother make the trek to Fall River to pick up their fresh made bread, spinach and meat pies, but today I volunteered to make the drive there myself. While the building is large, the 'shop area' is small, consisting of an L shaped counter, a few shelves with some pantry staples, and two refrigerated cases with beverages, yogurt, and cheeses. There was a steady stream of foot traffic while I was there, people mostly popping in to get a few pies for lunch or stocking up on bread. The line moved quickly and efficiently and we were in and out in no time at all. Their pricing is reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. We spent just about $100 today, but came home with dozens of spinach and meat pies to share and enough bread to stock our freezer for a few weeks. Definitely worth the drive. Pro tip: order one day ahead for 'party size' spinach and meat pies - a smaller version of their traditional pies - which are perfect for any party or family get together.
