I have always enjoy getting a pretzel dog from auntie Anne's. They are located in the mall so it's convenient quick and an expensive. It's a great pick me up for a while. I'm walking around. Go try one and you will be impressed.

Located at North Star Mall, not to be confused with the Nose Scar Mall, which is what happens when my cats get a little too enthusiastic about cuddling me. The North Star Mall was pretty fun and exciting once I found parking, which wasn't easy at all. It's busy and it's hot, but there are some great stores inside here of course. And as well as a perfunctory food court, there are pretzels and lemonade, from your old faithful... AA. I guess one of the funny things about finding these is that it's gotten to the point where I would be much more shocked if I didn't find one, which never happens. Neither of us wanted a pretzel, but our San Antonio friend loves these somtimes-hot pretzels and got one for us and a lemonade for us, which was really nice of her. We split a pretzel and split a lemonade and neither of us think they're amazing, but as usual they're half decent, especially for Mall food standards.

I would never recommend ordering from here for special occasions. I had placed an order Monday Feb 8th for a Super Bowl a Sunday pack they were promoting. I paid my fees and received an email confirmation that the order was received and would be ready for pick up at 4:45pm. Sunday comes along and I get an email at 1pm that stated that unfortunately the system cannot confirm if my order would be completed and to call the store location. I tried multiple times to call the locations within the mall and even mall management with no answer. I even tried corporates number for customer service but they were closed. Needless to say I never received a call from the store location or the corporate number to say exactly what happened.

You can't resist the smell of Auntie Anne's! Although the line was long, it moved pretty fast. They already have premade pretzel nuggets ready to go. But I prefer to get mine made fresh. Reuben took my order, which was a large container of pretzel nuggets, half salted, half cinnamon ($7.29). Rueben was really friendly! He said it would take 10-15 minutes to make. There's a seating area right behind the kiosk. My pretzels were done in 10 minutes, and they were delicious! The only thing I wish is that they were hotter. They were soft, warm, sweet, buttery and salty! Each time I go to the mall, I always know I'll be making a pit stop at Auntie Anne's.

Auntie Anne's st north star mall continues to deliver a good quality product. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could, but decided to round down for this review. The pretzels are normally buttery and soft with a nice consistency and flavor. The mini dogs are my choice on this visit and provide a decent fatty snack when walking the mall. Price wise, it's what you expect from a mall. $5 and change for 8 mini dogs.

But the one thing that makes it worthwhile is a stop at Auntie Anne's Pretzels for a pretzel dog.

One of the best restaurants I went to in San Antonio…read more The food was perfect. The deviled eggs were very good with a bit of spice. Definitely a surprise as an appetizer but good. We also had the snapper throats and loved them. The aioli was a great sauce with them. I had the gulf catch of the day, which was grouper, and it was so good. Great seasoning, perfectly flaky and moist, a nice crust on the outside. With that we had some jalapeno corn bread which was also delicious. Not too dry at all. I was hoping for it to be spicy but it was not. For dessert, I gad panna cotta and it was a great ending. Not too sweet, but the berries made up for that. The lavender meringue bites had a great crunch. Our server (Maya) was excellent. She was so friendly and helpful. Finally, the decor is unmatched anywhere. It used to be a brewery and they kept the old pipes and valves, which look very cool. It has a great vibe. I highly recommend. Without the need to, I'll mention anyway that it's not cheap. But it's worth it.

Really enjoyed the grilled oysters and the pork chop was amazing; maybe slightly overcooked but it was brined and so flavorful- nice & smokey; enough for 2. Pass on the summer squash- would be tasty if squash was shredded (like spaghetti) but cubed, the texture was off-setting. Drinks are fun - had the "madame" -yum. Fun spot - definitely would return.

This was such a fun little brewery. We decided to swing by one Sunday afternoon for a cold beer and…read moresome finger foods, and it ended up being a great stop. As soon as we walked into Dos Sirenos, the staff were very friendly and greeted us right away, letting us know to grab a seat wherever we liked and that someone would be with us shortly. Even though the place was pretty busy both inside and outside, it didn't take long for someone to come over and take our food and drink order. The drinks came out quickly, and the food wasn't far behind. Everything we ordered was delicious--honestly my only complaint was that my plate was empty by the end! The drinks were cold, refreshing, and really good. Overall, we had a great time at Dos Sirenos. The atmosphere was lively, the service was friendly, and the food and drinks hit the spot. We would definitely come back.

Minutes later a tattooed and friendly waitress wearing a Selena shirt arrived to my table and took my order for a lemonade and the tiramisu french toast with a side of bacon. Everything was good. The french toast had thick slices like Texas toast . I'll return another time for supper.
