They did offer samples, which was helpful in making a selection. The ice cream was good, but not particularly memorable. I can't even recall what flavor I had. Price was also a bit high for what I actually received. Next time I am in the area, I probably would try Chocolate Factory for nostalgia's sake as I haven't had it since they left the Prospect Mall forever ago! You could certainly do worse than Creamy Pig, but I suspect you could also do better.

Rather than posting the weight on the frozen bird, you get to weigh them yourself. Spent 20 minutes sorting through the biggest turkeys I could find. The biggest one was 18 lbs. I found nice guy stocking the shelves, he was happy to take a look. Found 22 pounder. I thanked him and left it there. Spent 1-1/2 hours at the store. Spent $160, and still have no turkey. My wife wonders why I bother shopping there still. I pride myself at not listening to her, but am creature of habit. Think it's time to look elsewhere for my groceries. Major let down.

Ultimately I don't think any of them were worth the price. The ice cream was lackluster. Both of my kids got cookies and cream in a cake cone and thought it was skimpy on the cookies part. My wife and I sprung for waffle cones with ours and were both disappointed in the excessive cone to ice cream ratio that heavily favored the cone. She got plain chocolate and it was fine. I, however, got banana-rama and ended up throwing it out because it tasted more like butter pecan than anything banana related. I even went back inside and verified with the employee that it wasn't mislabeled in the case.

It's self serve and there's a number of toppings from cereal, gummies, cookie doughs, and sauces like peanut butter, marshmallow, caramel and hot fudge. Pricing is based on the weight, at the register you weigh your fro yo(s) and pay based on the weight. Not sure what the prices is per ounce but I paid $4.98 for a medium sized cup (the green cup shown in the picture). I also love how portions of their proceeds (or all I'm not sure) on Tuesdays are donated to selected local schools. Give it a visit if you're in the area, you surely won't regret it.
