Ordered take out for dinner here while doing some shopping a few weeks ago. Food was ready when they said it would be and the staff I dealt with we're fairly friendly. Food was okay; I ordered the General Tso's chicken which was passably spicy even though the breading was a bit loose and soggy. Portion was too small for the price, in my opinion. I was not impressed with the food. I tried the fried orange chicken lunch special and it was terrible.the chicken Tasted burnt and the fried rice was bland and over cooked. I had the assorted plate of pan-fried dumplings. The veggie dumpling was filled with spinach, and it tasted better than I expected. It is not that flavorful though. The shrimp dumpling was mediocre. It was pretty much shrimp in a dumpling. It didn't taste seasoned or anything. The chicken dumpling and the pork dumpling tasted and looked so similar that I couldn't tell the difference between them. Either way, it was delicious. The pork dumpling was the popular choice as I was told by the server. I enjoyed that when they pan-fried these dumplings, it wasn't fried, hard, or crispy. I like it still having the attributes of steamed dumplings but just a light layer of it being pan-fried. I also enjoyed the 6 little tin cans placed on every take so you can add some spice or sauce to whatever you're eating. The place looked like a very typical Chinese restaurants. Sesame Chicken was absolutely out of this world. We got their vegetable dumplings and they were delicious! I did find them a bit small, and maybe lacking a few veggies, but apart from that it was very good. Their dessert was some of the best fried banana I've ever had, our server was extremely courteous, friendly and patient, considering we were new. We felt very welcome, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's definitely going on our favorite restaurant's list, and we will for sure be back :D. read more

This is so SCARY! I ordered lunch for my kids and myself today. When I received the order, my kids opened the food up and took a bite before declaring the food "gross". I realized that the order was completely wrong. I called Auntie Chang's and spoke to some guy named, Jason. He said that they would re-deliver the correct order. When the re-delivery came, the person asked the food that had been in our house, opened, and had a bite taken out of be given back to them! I returned the chicken dishes and did not want the beef broccoli(s) which were a part of the correct order, because I believe that that they had mis-delivered my original order and expected me to accept food that had been previously delivered to another customer. I am disgusted as I have eaten there numerous times before. Food borne illness kills millions yearly--no thanks, Auntie Chang! They forced me to accept the beef broccoli(s) when all I wanted was a refund. The dishes went in the trash, right along with their contact information in my phone! read more

Only order the dumplings if you go there although if you want an alternative, dumplings you buy in the freezer section should be of the same quality. I also had the pu pu platter and it was the worst i've had. Usually there are different meats you can place on your little grill, but this one was just a big plate of fried. Good Chinese! Their steamed pork dumplings are very good! I love all the delicious sauces readily available (for take out too). Customer service is always great every time I've been here. You can really tell that the staff always go out of their way to make you happy! They're hard working. I get random cravings for Chinese food and Auntie Chang's always hits the spot. If it's your first time I recommend getting the assorted dumplings so you can try all their dumplings. They also have a variety of sauces on the table for you to try. Regularly I always get seafood cheese puffs and sweet and sour chicken. Sweet and sour chicken isn't as good to go because the steam from the container makes it soggy. If you're craving non authentic Chinese food come here!! We tried a variety of dumplings and all were very tasty. The service was also pretty fast. I mean after all we had a party of ten. Was our first time there and will definitely recommend and go back. I've ordered delivery from this place on a number of occasions given that I apparently live in a Chinese food "Dead zone" (Rice Military/Heights). I grew up eating Chinese once a week, then I moved to Heights...and well...here I am writing this review on Auntie Chang's...cause that all I got folks. Having said that, its still Chinese food and most importantly...they deliver. Thus if you're a Chinese food addict like myself and your livin in Rice Military...Aunty Changs might be your only option. I've made a run at pretty much the entire menu and it just aint getting any better. That said, their dumplings arent that bad. I would definitely stay away from the Curry Chicken, just terrible unless you enjoy chunks of dry curry rub in your dish. General Tso Chicken is probably going to be your best option here. By far the worst vegetable dumplings I've had -- just moved to Montrose and was super excited to try this place...but will definitely not go back. The vegetable dumplings are stuffed with nothing but a wad of tasteless chewy spinach, no flavor at all! The dipping sauces were terrible as well - the brown sauce was way too salty and very oily. Not a lot to say about this place other than we use it fairly often at work for lunch delievery. Even though we sometime order right in the heart of lunchtime they usually always get there quickly. The food is a lil better than the typical Chinese delivery that I have had in the past. The portions are generous...even the lunch specials. They also pack the delivery very well and we have never had any issue with cold or spilled food. This place is a staple for my husband and me. I am not a fan of their namesake dumplings, but the rest of the menu is consistently delicious!
