He was really great and we appreciated his humor and authenticity. The other nice lady gave me a little side of their kimchi to try with my noodles- it's not like regular kimchi as I know it- very lightly seasoned and I liked the crunch since the didn't have the yellow radish. The big koi mural outside and the gold Buddha statue inside are pretty cool, and the place has a comfortable feel not trendy, but normal (which is a plus). The buns were airy and warm, and the fried fish was crispy outside and tender inside. The flavor was there 100 percent, they marinated the hell out of it! So good. For my main entree, I got the Colonel Tsos' Chicken. They make it with a whole chicken cutlet instead of small pieces, the first time I've had it prepared like that. The breading crisp, the meat was juicy, and the sauce had a nice mix of sweet and spicy. It came with fried rice and house salad, and potatoes. All were good and on par with any other high end restaurants. My wife ordered the shrimp, and she loved it. She is actually the one who recommended the place, and she was right. She said the shrimp was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Their house made spicy chili sauce, made with serrano peppers, on point. It had heat and flavor. I asked if I could take some home, and they were totally fine with it and even packed a few extra containers for me. North China serves fresh food, pays attention to the details, and treats you well. Came in on a Saturday for lunch and was so impressed. Fred the owner was so friendly and working hard to visit every table to ensure we were well taken care of and gave us great recommendations. Have been here before and it was ok Not so much today. They brought my husband plate first, and it took at least 10 minutes to get mine. Maybe that was a sign! My Beijing fish was not good at all. I couldn't eat it. I was so hungry I ate the rice and the roll plus the added soup. I should have said something. Amazing customer service. It was my first time here with my girlfriend and we came here for our 6th month anniversary. It's really cool that they offer free fried wanton crisps with sweet and sour sauce to start. The alcoholic drinks were also very delicious and they had a wide variety when it came to selections. Saw this place on social media and had to try it as I'm a big fan of Chinese-Korean cuisine. The jjamppong and jjajangmyeon were both great, but I think I prefer the latter. Noodle texture was chewy and satisfying. Jjamppong had a generous amount of seafood and the soup was rich and flavorful. Black bean noodles were more savory which I appreciate and the sauce was full of meat and veggies! I made sure to scoop up any of the remaining sauce with white rice. I am in search of a good Chinese restaurant, so I decided to try North China today for lunch. It was pretty good. First of all, the service was great. Everyone seems so nice and inviting. One of my favorite Chinese dishes that I always get is the General Tso's Chicken. Theirs was pretty good. The only problem I had is that I saw visible jalepenos on a picture that was posted on Yelp but I didn't see them in my dish today. Outside of that, my meal was very tasty. My favorite of today was the eggroll. Man, something about the texture and the "almost flat" shape was good to me. Another plus is the patio seating, which was perfect for a day like today. Staff here are proud and not only are equipped to answer questions about the menu but are quick to make suggestions too. They checked up on us throughout the meal without being intrusive. The menu features some unique as well and they are worth the try. A free appetizer of fried wontons and some dipping sauce is brought to your table immediately, much like chips and salsa at a Tex-Mex or rolls at an Italian place. I could easily eat 2 egg rolls, they are top notch. The mild sweet sauce for the eggrolls tastes great, but for me a little too runny. I think it would be better if the consistency was more duck sauce like, however I really don't mind it too much. Sesame chicken and crab Rangoon, I usually order this at other restaurants but it is not what I like here. The chicken fried rice is good I just have to order without sprouts because I am not a fan. One of these days I'm going to find the will power to not order my minced garlic chicken and try the fish buns and a branch out to a some other things. This restaurant closes at 2:30 and reopens at 4:30. When I drove up, I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the Koi fish painting on the wall, as well the authentic decor inside. I walked in at 2:11 and the restaurant was still so accommodating and friendly. I was craving Chinese food and I didn't know of any on this side of town so I looked on google for something close by. They had high reviews so I called and asked if I come will they be closed. They said we do close at 2:30, but if you are close come on. I jumped in the car so fast because I really enjoy eating in than to go. As soon as we walked in we were quickly seated. The service here is fast and they're kind. this place is definitely more of upscale than most of the Chinese restaurants in the area but not upscale enough to dress up but elevated Menu, elevated interior, and amazing Customer Service. The food here is delicious. We started off with their dumplings and let me tell you they are homemade and you can definitely taste it especially the wrappers. You can see that they're chewy and have a little bit of a bite. I would recommend though that you get the pork ones the vegetable ones were all right. they have an excellent Menu. It's a Chinese and Korean fusion spot. I would definitely recommend their kimchi as it's homemade and it's delicious the little on the salty side so do not eat a bunch of it unless you're mixing it with a steaming bowl of white rice. I don't think my drink was ever less than 75% full. I had a really nice menu and tons of dessert options unfortunately I didn't get to try any on this trip as we were stuffed to the brim. This is a huge deal and a huge difference between NChina and competitors. I absolutely love the shredded pork with Bao buns. This has literally been the only thing I've ordered in my 10+ times. My wife loves their crab Rangoon/crab rolls (as do I). Fried rice is great, doesn't matter which protein or style you go with. Every dish that we've ever had is top notch. I would recommend that if you have an air fryer and decide to order the shredded pork with the Bao buns, that you spray a little oil and fry (3min) your Bao buns for an extra kick of crunch and pazazzz!!
