Located near Old Navy across from Johnny Rockets. The store was very clean and vibrant. I ordered the Coffee Craz snow ice and hubbs ordered a Thai Tea Float. If you're a coffee lover, the Coffee Craz is perfect for you. The snow ice was drenched in rich coffee flavor covered with condensed milk with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream wasn't just plain vanilla either; it was a special deluxe flavor that I can't quite describe. All I can say is it went so perfectly with all the flavors combined. Service was quick and friendly. So glad I found a snow ice spot close to home, will definitely be returning again! read more

We came here for some dessert while at Kamakanalii Mall. The staff was friendly and the store was clean and inviting. There were cute decorations especially for Halloween time. Aunty's famous complimentary shave ice from Aunty's Hotpot around the corner and the former Aunty's Ramen in town has expanded into its own shop! I did hear that a month ago, Aunty transferred ownership to someone else. Wish we tried this place where she was still owner! Aunty's Hau Hale is great for those who'd like to expand from Aunty's traditional giant bowl of Taiwanese-style shave ice with pudding and boba toppings and different syrups. Hubby and I finally stopped by for a taste of their Peachy Delight shave ice. Customers can self-order at a kiosk or in person at the counter! The Peachy Delight was tasty, though the syrup didn't seem evenly distributed throughout the ice. We would mostly get mouthfuls of plain ice, then get hit with sweetness at the bottom. If I want dessert, I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way here. Sage Creamery comes in for that. If I'm already in the mall or just finished watching a movie at Olino and want a sweet treat to share with my husband or friends, but without feeling obligated to order Aunty's Hotpot, I'll stop by here. They also sell (milk) tea boba and bubble waffle desserts. I wouldn't mind trying the bubble waffle! read more

My best friend who grew up in kapolei recommended this pace to me on my visit. It was a bit hard to find from the outside of the mall from maps. It's close to the Cheesecake Factory so park there. There are so many fun options. I wanted one of everything. The staff are sooooo nice. They have some social media promotions too. I should've done the 1000 follower promotion. Oopsies maybe next time. The mango shave ice was so yummy but a little too sweet. I wish I was given more cream though. I loved the mochi!! The sister restaurant to Aunty's Hotpot House features snow ice, shave ice, smoothies, egg waffles and custards. The counter service restaurant is bright and cheery and has plenty of seating to enjoy your treats. Since it was our first time, we tried the mango snow ice with mango mochi, an egg waffle with strawberry dipping sauce, and a green tea custard. The snow ice was really delicious. It was creamy in texture and we absolutely loved the mango mochi. The egg waffle was warm and chewy and went well with the snow ice. We saved the green tea custard for home. It was good and reminded me of almond float. Aunty's Hau Hale is open daily from 12pm to 8pm. We are already making plans for our next visit! read more

I love eating the dessert at Aunty's hot pot, so I really wanted to try Aunty's Hau Hale. I tried the snow ice strawberry flavor with condensed milk topping. The strawberry was a little too tart for me, so I had to go back and ask for more condensed milk. They did have samples of the almond and coffee custard (I will order that next time - yum!). Maybe next time, I'll try the original flavor snow ice and strawberry topping instead. read more

Absolutely delicious sno ice with incredible textures and flavors. Their waffles, teas, and custards are tasty too. I've had many a Taiwanese shaved ice in my day and this was by far the best I've ever had. The ice was so fine that each bite let the ice melt into such a lovely creamy texture. They make their condensed milk flavors in house which was such a nice touch too! Their boba is fresh and soft, the mochi delicious, their fruit toppings were fresh and not drowned in syrup (strawberries were sweet but maintained their tartness). My friends and I were in town shopping in the plaza and what blew us away was the wonderful customer service. There was a young gentleman named John who was so kind, patient, and enthusiastic. He took the time to ask us about our day, and helped us pick out items and toppings that would pair well, and did not steer us astray. When I was torn between two toppings, he was so nice he offered me a small sample to try, to make sure I was happy about my decision. You could tell he really wanted me to love my sno ice (which I absolutely did!). The experience was so positive, my girlfriends and I came back a total of three times in a week! read more

We stopped by Aunty's Hau Hale excited to try their Halloween special, the Snow Monster, but sadly it wasn't available. The owner kindly suggested we try Aunty's Treasure Mountain instead, which consists of 8 total toppings--and even refunded our order and gave my son a complimentary shave ice! I was honestly touched by her kindness--she didn't have to do that, but she went above and beyond to make our day special. The shave ice was adorable and delicious, and my son said, "This is the best day and memory I'll have forever." Thank you, Laura (hope I spelled that right)--you truly made our day! We live in Hoopili right down the road and are always looking for dessert places near us. We just saw this place open last weekend and decided to try it and we loved it! The prices are so reasonable and the portions are super generous. We tried the mango snow ice with strawberry mochi- the snow ice had such a smooth texture similar to snow factory and the mochi was actual pieces of like chichidango mochi covered in strawberry sauce which was really good, we were expecting small mochi ball pieces like snow factory. The aunty who owns this place is the same aunty who owns auntys hotpot house, she was super friendly and so appreciative of our support. I got the ube snow ice and that was disappointing. The worker did apologize because they said they was low on the ube so they offered another and so I got the milk tea which was ok. The ube was gritty, like it had sand in it. It was not smooth like I expected but that could be because it was the last of it. The milk tea was smooth and tasted ok. What made it more disappointing was that shortly after I got my order, they called multiple orders after us that included ube as well so I don't understand how I couldn't get what I ordered when others after me was. My girlfriend got the mango and that actually tasted good. I'll probably give them another try and hopefully it's better. read more

Great new spot to cool down with a refreshing treat. Aunty is amazing just the same as she is in Auntys Hot Pot. She is always greeting guests and working. It is a little small inside and seating is limited but the 3 times thay we have been there so far we got lucky with seats being open or people leaving. read more

This place was empty when we walked in with just a few people so my coworker and I was on our lunch break which is only 30 min. We ordered and waited the entire lunch break for our order and we noticed there was only one worker who was serving her family who was in there. It was a bad experience but the smoothie was good. I wish they would hire more workers because I won't be going back. PLS NOTE : UPDATE The workers "parent" reached out to me by private message to respond to my review which i am appalled by and feel that was out of control . Date night treat night! Trying Aunty's Hau Hale for the first time and we love Aunty's Hot Pot!!! We ordered the coffee snow ice with large boba. First of all, love their coffee flavor. It's on point! Ice is soft and melt in your mouth delicious. Boba was good just how I like it. Lightly sweetened and chewy (I don't like overcooked boba). Also, you can watch how they make the snow ice in front of you. Very cool~ripples of shaved ice. My only wish is that they gave a little more for the price $8. The bottom of the cone shape dish was not completely filled. But we shared it and both liked it. Maybe we'll get our own next time. Service was great! Love the cute drawing on the wall! Sorry I forgot to take a full picture of the wall since customers were eating there. Oh they had three tall tables and chairs right outside of the shop so it was perfect to sit and watch people while you eat. We'll be back.
