When I started coming here a couple months ago the quality of the work was awesome! My fills would last me 3-4 weeks which is great! However the last two months the work has been horrible!! Last month the nail tech said I needed a new set, I agreed and she gave me a new set - within 1 week almost all my nails were lifting and after week two I had 3 broken nails!! I went back this month and the same nail tech said oh you need a new set, this is bad quality - I told her that she was the one who gave me a new set last month and she just got quiet and didn't say anything! At the end she gave me the bill and said she "didn't remember what a fill cost" but I could "leave her a good tip because she gave me a low price" Horrible work and shady people - no thank you, never again!! read more

I love coming here. They are all so sweet and Tina is always willing to do new designs with acrylic nails. I'll show her a picture and they will always do amazing in recreating what I show them. Worse nail place so far ever! I went in with a picture posted on yelp for them; loved a light pink color. When I asked for it, one of the ladies just gave me the basket with the samples. I ask another lady and she said she had it...Great! I then told her for both my nails and feet... I was on my phone with a huge pillow they give you, that I didn't realize that the lady doing my pedi had used another color than my hand nails. I then asked the lady doing my fills to just use the color on my toes. $70 dollars for a gel pedi and fills...and with a color I didn't want. I wasn't going to write anything but it hurt so bad this morning all the cuticle cuts on my hands and toes. Horrible customer service btw. Would not recommend to anyone!! Will never go back. I LOVE THIS PLACE! The previous day I went to a chain nail salon (the only one) and they completely butchered my nails. I was horrified. Then I went to Bright Nails and the lady I had was SO INCREDIBLY sweet and patient. It took her 45 minutes alone to take off what was previously on, then she did my nails and I was so happy! I had to share the great experience that I had today at Bright Nails. I called the salon on Sunday morning for an appointment at 1 o'clock. When I walked in, it was moderately busy but I got seated right away and was given the colors to look over (there were so many choices which was awesome). The salon is very open and clean, with nice modern furniture and equipment. They also offered me water or soda which was a nice touch. A younger girl came over to remove my old gel nail polish, and then the manicurist Rose came to finish the job. She was super nice and friendly! We didn't talk too much but she made a point to converse with me during the process which I appreciated, because it can be super awkward to sit there for 45 minutes with no conversation. I think she did a really great job with the manicure and the massage she gave at the end was on point. To remove my old polish and get a new gel manicure it was $27 which I think is very fair. I ran in here for a quick manicure since my place was booked.... big mistake. The ladies are nice enough but when I looked at my finished nails I was so DISAPPOINTED. The lady left a big space between my new polish and my cuticle, so I left the salon with my "not so new" nails looking like I needed a fill less than 2 minutes after leaving. Moved to Orange County a year ago and have yet to find my go-to nail salon. Until now! My sister and I came here for much needed girl time pampering. We requested the luxury spa + extra 10 min massage add on. My sister also included dipping powder manicure. All the services were worth every dollar! We had Tamara, Lily, Han, and Angelina all working on us and they made us feel like a million bucks. Wonderful customer service! We were tempted to go to Pure Escape Beauty Bar because of their beautiful atmosphere and Yelp review but I couldn't be happier with coming here instead. Overpriced for quality. My dip nails were coming off & chipping after the first week. Normally dip will last me 3 weeks at a different salon. Charged me $10 to take off acrylic, & $55 for dip. I got a jelly pedicure (super fun) and gel manicure, and was very pleased with the final product and the service I received. My regular nail place is closed on Monday's so I decided to try this spot out.. I noticed it had great reviews and the pictures looked good as well. I'm honestly really happy I stopped by. There was no wait although my sister had to wait a bit. Nicky did my nails which I love!! She noticed my real nails were very brittle so she recommended the dip powder which is supposed to help my real nails grow! I had never tried dip powder before but now I love it. She also did an amazing job at shaping my nails! I wanted square with a bit of roundness to it and she nailed it! She is so sweet too. She even asked my name.. My sister is also obsessed with her nails! She got acrylics with nude colored gel and she is in love! I brought her to get her nails done for her homecoming dance on Saturday. She feels gorgeous!! Over priced for mediocre nails, I was the only one in the salon today which probably explains it all. I got a French tip with light pink powder that I was convinced to do, not sure if it was extra but I'm hoping it wasn't because they didn't state that. I asked for a French square shape and round corners. My nails look very weird the actual nail is super small and it doesn't match my nail bed. I'm super unhappy with it but I didn't have time to explain and ask to get them fixed. Just be very clear and make enough time in case you don't like the work so that they can fix it. I had showed the lady the picture of how I wanted my nails she said she could do it and had everything for them so I stayed. When applying nail polish on it was very bumpy and had air bubbles I asked if she could fix it so she "did" I wasn't happy how it came out, when looking for gems I asked if they had they said yes toward the end she said she did not have those and I was upset because I told her from the begging if she had them and then lied. I really did love this place the first time I went here...staff was super friendly and the space was very clean and well decorated! However, 2 of my acrylic nails cracked after 2 weeks. I've had acrylics many times before and I've never had them crack. Despite this I decided to go back a week ago to get them filled in because I really did like it there. Unfortunately, a week into having my new set of acrylics another one cracked but this time much worse. When the lady who did my nails again was finishing them she put nail glue on the back of them so my nail was basically glued to my skin. So today when my nail cracked in half it was hanging on by my skin. It was unbelievably painful. read more

Under new management this salon got a beautiful facelift with new nail technicians. The owner of the salon is absolutely gracious and values each customer. I'd been there numerous times under the old management and while it was nice this facelift is just a little step above, the gentle music and atmosphere is exactly what I needed without knowing it. The T.V. is off and not on a local news channel, like other nail salons. I've been twice since the new opening, the first time I had a non-experienced manicurists and I contemplated going back, however when I went back today, she's no longer there and instead requested Nikki for both my mani/pedi, she's meticulous and doesn't ask personal questions. I've been coming here regularly for about half a year now. It has always been a pleasant experience. Last night was the first time that I came on a weekday, a Wednesday. I was surprised to be greeted with an unfamiliar face when I walked in. I think the owner/manager's name last night was Nancy, not the nice, young lady that has always been there whenever I came on weekends. I got a regular mani and pedi. My manicurist was fine, nothing special. I'm not 100% happy with the polish job that she did. See my pictures. I only recognized one person working last night. I thought that was a little strange. Before my manicurist polished my nails, she asked if I wanted to pay before. I politely declined and said that I'll wait. I've left several nail salons that ask me to pay before they complete their work. It's a big turn off for me. I don't want to pay before I see the final product. I don't want to give you tip before you have earned it. I'm not going to blindly tip. I've stuck with Bright Nails because they have never asked me that; this is something that I look for when I try a new nail salon. Bright Nails has always been so patient and courteous of my needs. My manicurist last night had no problem with me not paying when she asked. She continued to work. I didn't feel rushed my her. However, towards the end of the night, the owner/manager, Nancy, got upset at my manicurist for not making me pay in advance, she scolded her telling her to never give the customer the option, make them pay, don't ask. Nancy was vocally not happy about it. Nancy and the manicurist were speaking in Vietnamese. And guess what, I am Vietnamese and understood every word. Overall, Nancy made me feel uncomfortable last night and I also did not like the way she treated/spoke to her team. It was such bad form and really bothered me. When will nail salons know to not speak Vietnamese around Vietnamese people, or just any Asian person?! Nancy and her team were complaining and talking shit on the customers. They were discussing about different ways to charge this one customer extra. Just be tactful and respectful; why do you have to talk negatively about your customers openly? I was very disappointed at the service that I received last night. I really hope Bright Nails didn't change management. I really like the manager and team on the weekends. If the young manager is still around, then I would return, but if it's a new team, then it's time for me to look for a different nail salon. read more

The odor from all nail products killed me every single time. Every spot is clean and neat. When I was picking my nail polish, I was able to open every single bottle I picked. I did see the lady cleaned the bottle when she opened it. This is neat! Everything is NEW. Seriously, the towels were pure white. I did find that very satisfying and felt very comfortable to be in the place. Cleaned and Sanitized. They offered various package. I chose the basic medi & pedi with gel polish for my hands. I finally found my go to place!!! (: The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the sweetest ladies. I don't get acrylics so often and usually keep it natural, but when I do, I get very picky how someone does them. So far the places I've been too will either make them too thick when I request to keep it thin and is always rough, not attention to detail. As for this place, their main priority is the customer. They make you feel so comfortable and they actually like building a relationship and conversation with you. I had Lani do my nails, she does amazing work when it comes to designs, especially the 3D designs. Her cousin Nina is also really good. All the ladies there do great work! I had to come back and try their pedicure treatments. I had the pleasure meeting Jessica and I simply LOVE the fact how detailed she is in her craft, they all are! My mom had Lily work on her and she came out so pleased and said she can't wait for her next visit. I promise you, you will walk out satisfied! They even took care of my dad while he was waiting for my mom. They let him sit down on their massager chair, gave him snacks, a drink and watched on their TV. This place most definitely is all about treating you like family. All positive vibes here!!!
