I Come to dtr frequently, I was having a good night out and wanted to go somewhere after dinner, so i went here with my wife. There is a no sports apparel dress code, but they do have a coat check. I was wearing a lakers jacket, which is very dressy. Anyways, the Secuirty check in stated i cannot come in due to my laker jacket. I do understand this as sports attire isn't allowed at most clubs, however the establishment does have a coat check from previous experience... we asked if we could check the coat and the manager who was a shorter lady with tattoos and teal color on the end of her hair, 4/16/22, stated we could "f off" and it wouldn't happen tonight"... we were even interested in bottle service as we were celebrating a great work and personal achievement and she drove our business away. Welp. I suggest the business obtains more qualified management...that doesn't loose business. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The security/bouncer who also claimed to be "manager" didn't let us in because one of our friends presented a Mexican ID. The bouncer said it had to be a California issued ID. So this means no tourist allowed? Or was it because it was a Mexican ID? Was he being racist? Keep in mind it was a group of 12 with a cover charge of $10 per person. That's $120 dollars that they lost not including beverage consumption. The place is hands down the trashiest club in Downtown Riverside. The DJ is wack, the club is extremely hot and let's not even talk about downstairs where it's so hot it's hard to breathe. some older bartender african lady takes her job way to seriously we had spent over 200 dollars not including tips on drinks and clearly used all of our money. i needed water for my brother who was tore up so i asked for tap water to give to him cause he needed it but she got this attitude and told me no that if i wanted water i can get it from the fountains by the bathrooms but i couldn't walk him over there it was too far so i just asked at least for just the cup so i can bring him fountain water but she still told me so and no. i got irritated and walked back to check on my brother and then my bf decided to ask (he didn't know i previously asked) he had asked a different bartender who happened to be nice and he was gonna give it to my boyfriend but the same lady from earlier snatched it from him she was being rude to my boyfriend so he flipped her off, she didn't like it so she went up to my man and grabbed him like a man to try and kick him out the club (the club was already about to close) he yanked his arm back from her just like anyone would - she had no business touching him. she then sent 5 security guards after him but he was just trying to get water for my brother who literally requires a cane to walk. this all happened over freaking tap water i was just trying to get my brother out of there. so ridiculous never going there again (also not to mention their drinks are watered down and just juice and all ice) read more

Beware of the bar scam, their staff members are instructed to remove abandoned drinks from the bar and tables even when the glass is half full. Their watching and waiting for you to go dance so they can swoop in and remove your drink. They also have a guy in a "Security shirt" walking around sneaking drinks off of tables. And now you must pay for another. They repeat this through out the club all night long. And that's how they turn a $ night into a $$$ night. The Wednesday night event is great for salsa and bachata. But real dancers don't drink that much, so this is how the make up for it. You have to tell them to leave your drinks alone even if only ice is left in the cup. Then they will know you're on to them and they'll have to move on to the next unsuspecting table. read more

I want to start by saying I am older than the usual clientele here- which might be why I have not had any problems here. lol This place is beautiful, upscale, interesting and Riverside is lucky to have it. That's one thing that young people aren't really aware of. This area didn't have much for me to do when I was younger. There was one place- and it wasn't great. Now they have so many great bars on one street if you don't like one scene you can walk a block to another! Anyway, about this place. It is huge. There's a great stage to watch bands, which I have done at least twice here and enjoyed. The bathrooms are shockingly clean! Like the place just opened. I feel safe here. I have never had a problem parking nearby. Overall this is a really awesome place to hang out. Comfortable sofas in one area with tables for your drinks. Upstairs and downstairs areas. Cool Art on the walls. Last night I appreciated the Halloween decorations and enjoyed watching the odd old horror movies on the TV while listening to the band performing which were also great and I can't believe I didn't have to pay a cover to get in (not once yet and I have been here three times so far) $6 for a CAN of beer is a little lame but hey, you have - Guinness so that's a win. Next time I will try a mixed drink. Overall this place makes me wish I was younger or had more of a social life. lol I could see having a pretty awesome time here, if you don't cause trouble. read more

I had been to several clubs and I KNOW that it's ILLEGAL to touch my personal stuff, she's supposed to ask me to move the stuff around and take out whatever she wants to check specific. She not just touch everything but also GRAB my vape and my pen from my purse keeping the pen on her hand. She told me that I needed to trash it or I couldn't go into the club, and trying to actually going in with my friends + since I know it's illegal to smoke indoors, I ask her if I have to make line again to go leave it on the car as what she says "if you leave with it, none of you is allowed" Why? No reason, just "the policy" because I could try to hide it and sneak it in. If I wanted to sneak it in, I would, I didn't know we're not allowed to carry stuff on our purses even tho it's illegal to smoke it indoors and specially when it's legal to smoke so I'm pretty confused on how are you not allowed to carry your own stuff. Plus with her, only because I was carrying a pen she checked my flared pants, the only one being checked on the pants just because she saw me with a pen. Little pro tip for the security: If you're trying to see that they're not sneaking stuff in then you should be checking everyone because the ones who are trying are the ones who you don't see anything on them. She proceeded come up to me in a confrontational manner saying I owe her money. I explained to her I was charged double and she kicked me out. Honestly I'm disgusted. Security guards kicked me and my girlfriend out for absolutely no reason. I felt unsafe going to the bathroom by myself so my girlfriend came with me. Not to mention there were several women that used the restroom together with their friends. We're they kicked out? No. Why is it a problem that we went together? It's 2023 nothing feels safe. Once I got to the venue I walked up and told them I had a table, and I was walked right up to my table. The host guy was really cool and quick at getting us our bottles and mixers. The venue is very cool and offers a lot with different sections to entertain people trying to chill with different vibes or style music. They also have a lower area that is cool for more of the edm music. The crowd was very chill and liked that it was all matured people and not stupid kids trying to be hard also. If you are unsatisfied and trying to talk to a manager they will not help you find a solution. Instead they will call you WHITE PRIVILEGED as you leave their establishment. I was ultimately enjoying my experience, but this was very insulting and made me question this employee's and the company's competence in dealing with customer service situations. Dealing with an unsatisfied "difficult" customer he receded by throwing incorrect and ignorant "political slang" to try and belittle a costumer. In the end I was not using my "white privilege" to get a head of anyone else. I was dissatisfied and ultimately cheap for wanting a refund on $10 drinks that my friends and I did not have time to drink and enjoy between the 5 minutes of last call and "closing time" where they were pushing people out into the street. But I have to give this place 5 stars because of the excellent customer service and integrity of the staff. I went to the club this past Saturday weekend and lost my wallet. If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would. The security here is rude, racist, and unprofessional. The drinks are expensive but terrible and either watered down or just poorly made. Also I've heard multiple stories of girls getting drugged here. DONT BE FOOLED! The only reason this place ever has a long line is because security is rude and makes the process of getting inside longer every time. Not only that but they're extremely uptight and won't even allow you to come in if you put something they "don't allow" in your car. The staff act like robots here and lack simple common sense. The space is poorly ventilated and gets extremely stuffy easily. The crowd inside is boring and the music is only good sometimes. Not to mention the place isn't even worth the $20 cover charge. Never ever go back there! Last Saturday me and my friends decided to try this new club. The bar was very crowded as expected. I finally got a chance to order drinks. I gave the bar tender my credit card. I signed the charge, and asked for my receipt. The look on the bar tender's face was like I was asking something so strange. He was annoyed. I got my receipt and thought I got my card back. Not sure if I forgot on the tray or I dropped it. When I realized the card was missing I went back to the bar and the bar tender literally ignored me intentionally. I finally got a chance to ask if I forgot my credit card there, he then without even turning around to look at the stack of trays that bills were places on, he said he did not have it. I said he didn't even check. He once again said, he did not have it! Really!!!! Then I went to the security guard over there, He didn't help either. He almost sent me back to bar tender. I told him I tried that already. Finally he went to bar and came back and said they don't have it. As soon as I got home, I put a block on the card to be safe. They are open only Wed-Sat at 9 pm. So I had to wait 4 days to see if they had my card. I called up today, Wednesday at 9:30. No one picked up, no recording, no voice mail. What kind of lousy security and management is this? My boyfriend is a diabetic so he has to bring in certain supplies like juices and sweets in case his blood sugar ever drops and when the security sees he instantly gets denied. He then after explained that he can't go in without them because he's diabetic and they're necessary the security asked what seemed to be either the manager or owner and the security comes back and still says no. $10+ cover for girls is crazy in my opinion but I Guess to each their own. I enjoy the large open floor space, the music seems to always be on point. There two floors which have 2 styles of music. This place won't last a year. I was part of a group of about 12 people or so, our ages ranged from 20's to 50's, and we decided to go out for a drink after a business event. We got to Aurea Vista just before 8pm on a Thursday night and they weren't not opened yet. We waited until after 8 and I knock on the door when an employee was near by. He looked at his watch and seemed mildly annoyed that he had to let us in. A far cry from welcoming us in with a smile. The place was large and beautifully decorated with antique furniture. There was a band on the stage setting up, and a few of their friends, and just us in the place. We took a seat in the corner and waited for a cocktail waitress. After about five minutes I went to the bar and asked if we can get a waitress and we were told there wasn't one and we had to order at the bar. The bartender then said that he'll be over in a few minutes to take our order. I went back to where we were sitting and waited. The music playing on the jukebox wasn't to my taste, so I went over, put in some money and selected some songs. The bartender, who still hadn't come to take our order yet, came up behind me and asked what songs I was choosing and then peered over my shoulder at my choices and even questioned one of them. By the way, did I mentioned that except for the band and their friends (who were mostly hanging out outside by now), we were the only ones there? After about five minutes, my girlfriend and I finally went to the bar to just get our drinks ourselves. The bartender was making a cocktail for someone with the band, which literally was taking him about 5 minutes. I've never seen such a thing. He eventually got to us and we ordered our drinks, which took him an unreasonable amount time to make. When we got back to our group and they saw we had drinks, they all went to the bar while we sat alone. We drank and finished our cocktails and our group was still at the bar waiting for theirs. We went outside for a cigarette and when we came in, our group was still at the bar waiting for their drinks. My girlfriend wanted another drink, so i went to the bar and asked a friend to get one for me while she was waiting for hers. She seemed annoyed and confused at how slow the bartender was. He was so slow, I was suspicious that he was crawling on purpose. On my way back, I noticed someone had roped off the jukebox. When our group finally joined us with drinks, we hung out for a while while we drank. When we were done, we left to go to another bar around the corner. If this place had their act together, they would have gotten 3 or 4 rounds from a large group on a night that otherwise was dead.
