Since being in Bourbonnais which I'm starting to believe is the chain restaurant capital of the world, I've only had Pizza Hut and Dominos which are......well, gross. Such a beautiful building, really. Absolutely gorgeous. Went there early one Saturday. My daughter ordered chicken sandwich and fries. I ordered a small pizza. The chicken sandwich came - no fries. The waitress literally threw a bag of chips on the table and said the oil wasn't hot enough yet. My pizza came and it was actually cold. Some one screwed up and big time. Ten minutes later, the chicken sandwich is finished, still no fries. I bring it to the waitresses attention. She said, "I TOLD you the oil wasn't HOT enough YET!" Rude, snippy and absolutely unprofessional. One of the most unprofessional waitresses I've ever seen. In case you see her she's short and blond. Since, she obviously didn't give a damn, I asked for the manger who thonked over to our table in a camo coverall. He also didn't give a damn. "Here, I'll give you half off, will that make you happy?" Never even got seated - we were a table of 6 and we checked in with the Hostess when we walked in. She said she had one more big group and then she would seat us. The hostess was also the busboy so she was completely frazzled. We patiently waited another 15 minutes for our table. She got it cleaned off and a party of 4 with a child walked in and asked for the table and she sat them there. She never even looked at seating us so we just walked out. What a shame - we had 2 teenage boys that just played a whole evening of high school football and our bill would have been quite large. They have by far the best thin crust pizza in my eyes and all of my buddies too. We always get thin fiesta(the largest) with pepperoni and their amazing sausage and get it a little well done! We ordered delivery tonight and our pizza arrived cold. Firing up the oven to reheat a delivery pizza after waiting an hour and a half is not something I want to do. This is basically the only pizza place in the area that doesn't offer online ordering. Last time we dined in, our server realized she never put our pizza order in after over an hour of saying "it's almost done". They do have an app, where you can earn points towards money off your next bill. But unfortunately the delivery driver didn't give us a receipt with a barcode so this purchase won't count. If you're on the app and click on "No Bar Code?" it sets you up with a complaint email basically. Not helpful at all. I have an extra second star because the pizza is usually good but they've been messing up a lot lately. read more

We are originally from Buffalo NY, a city that prides itself on its pizza and wings. This pizza is an abomination to all pizzas. The crust was burnt, the cheese was a very VERY odd blend, and by the time we got it delivered was already cold with the disgusting cheese hardened. We also ordered breadsticks (which were decent, but nothing to write home about), and chicken tenders for the kids that looked like something bought out of the freezer section of a supermarket and heated in a microwave. 100% positive we will never order from here again. read more

Aces on this joint! I used to go to the Tinley location. But it's as old as the hills the Skeletor who runs it, gives you the stink eye if you go to the buffet more than once! Nice spread for the Mon/Fri buffet. Large salad bar and the pies just keep coming. I have been to buffets in the tri-state area and this is the best run and most filling. They have it all. Sausage and onion. Are you kidding. I love O in everything. Hot peppers, pepperoni, veggie, sausage. They were all there for me to devour! Yum! USED to be the gold standard of the Bourbonnais area. That was 15 years ago. Now? The stuffed pie is a soggy mess no matter when you order it. The sauce is generic, obviously, so it's watery beyond belief. Attempts to cost-cut, in order to afford the new building I would guess, have turned the food quality into slightly better than Domino's level. If you want a good, fresh pie....Try Nancy's. They're only delivery and/or carry-out, but the quality is a step (and then some) above. Even Rosati's offers a better pie at this point. The sauce was perfect and the pizza sizes were way larger than anywhere I've ever been. Our medium pizza was the same size as other place's large pizzas. Great service too. They probably had 20 different pizzas on the buffet at any given time, and my stomach left full and happy. The servers were friendly, pizzas were hot and cooked well, and my jeans felt tighter as a result of it all. I will definitely return when I'm next able to visit my friends in Kankakee. I love Aurelio's pizza. It is my favorite pizza of all time. The sauce is perfect, and there is boo other place that can copy it. The original Aurelio's in Homewood is the best, but the Bourbonnais store isn't bad. I will say owners are jerks, and they pay shitty Christian music over the intercom, but otherwise it's a great place to eat. All of their sandwiches, sides, and salads are delicious too. I've been eating aurelio's for years. Lately the pizza just tastes burnt, but at the same time it's not even cooked all the way. I'll give them one more chance but that's it. Tried aurelio's again tonight. The crust was undercooked, soggy, and tasted like raw flour. The cheese wasn't even melted together. The pizza looked like a 5 year old cut it, tiny pieces on the edge and a few giant pieces in the middle. This was my final pizza from them, after being a loyal customer for 20+ years I've had enough. When the pizza is cooked right here it's the best, but unfortunately the owners must not care. I'd be a loyal customer again if they would get it together. This place BLOWS. The cheese on the pizzas are beyond natural or real. Not to mention that all of their pizzas taste the same. The salad bar, HA. I couldn't wait to eat at a Aurelios again. It's been about 4 years since we moved to the pizza desert they call Tennessee. We went in expecting to order my favorite pizza but they had a luncheon buffet going on so I couldn't wait and started scarfing down the pizza on the buffet. The sweet tangy sauce and the Italian sausage was as remembered. The variety of pizzas was good and my only complaint was too much variety.
