    Alligator Fried Rice

Magical Dining Rec: This menu is so unique and I was excited to try to Alligator Fried Rice. It was perfectly cooked, the alligator was tender and paired well with the rice and the cause. The Beet & Goat Cheese Salad was underwhelming. I wish there was more cheese to be honest. We upped our menu for the Supernova and to be honest it could have been split between 2 people. It was HUGE! But, it was also so good I wish I could have ate the whole thing. It was an amazing mix of chocolate, caramel, brownie and ice cream! Def a sweet tooth's idea of a dessert.

Had a great birthday dinner at Aurora! Both the regular and Bite 30 menu had so many delicious options - the tuna tostada was especially good, and the filet medallions were cooked perfectly. The space-themed decor and creative cocktails really elevate the experience and make it feel like more than just a dinner out. A fun and memorable spot for a special occasion! This place never disappoints

The food and service were excellent! The ambience makes it feel like you are in outer space with the glowing lights and the decor.

We had the pleasure of returning for the Bite30 and it lived up to the 5 stars again. Staff was friendly, service was fast and the menu variety was great. The courses were great portion sizes and the taste was great. They knocked it out of the park once again! Can't wait to come back!

Went for bite 30 and saved a bunch for what we ordered. Appetizer came out fast. Both were delicious. Seafood soup is a cream based soup but is not heavy. Salad was fresh. Entrees took 30 minutes or longer to come out and they were not that busy. Steak was cooked perfectly and the chicken was good. Dessert came out quickly. The coconut pudding was very good. The lemon cake was very dense but tasty.

I went back to Aurora and requested my friend meet me there for dinner since she lives in Oviedo. She did not realize this restaurant existed in the Celeste but immediately fell in love with the ambiance and then later, the food and drinks! I was again greeted by Andrea, the Manager. She remembered me and led me to my table as my guest had already arrived. We had a nice chat, and I introduced her to my friend, Beverly. I asked if Ethan (who was my waiter last time) would be our server tonight. She said they had two Ethans and one left after his graduation from UCF. I met "Ethan 2.0" and although he was not the original Ethan, he was just as attentive, fun and gave my friend and I the perfect amount of space between cocktails, appetizer and dinner so we could visit properly. (Matthew M., if you are still the Business Manager, you and Andrea sure know how to hire the best personnel!!) We started off with cocktails. I recommended the Aquarius to my friend as it was my favorite last time from the Zodiac Specialty cocktail menu. I asked Ethan if Brittney was the bartender tonight and she was! Her drinks were made perfectly (as usual), and my friend was impressed with the presentation as well as the mixture of nectarine vodka, elderflower, lime and cranberry juice and simple syrup. I stopped by the bar on our way out to say Hi to Brittney and to compliment her on her mixology craft. For the appetizer, I recommended the Jackfruit "Tostachos" based on my last visit. They were just as good this time around. For dinner, my friend had the Pan-seared French Cut Chicken served on velvety mashed potatoes (with the skins!) with green beans and carrots. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon, which was served on the best risotto I've ever had! (It contained a mixture of parmesan and mushrooms.) The meal was accompanied by green beans, carrots and broccoli. The salmon was cooked perfectly. We each shared a little of our meals so we could experience the taste of both. Amazing!! Kudos to the chef. Final shout out to Anthony who valeted our cars. He was engaging and prompt. Valet parking is free when dining at Aurora. You get a text sent to your phone and when you are ready to retrieve your car, you just click on the link to let the valet know you are coming. Just another fine touch at Aurora. Five stars all-around!!

While driving past the Celeste Hotel recently, I noticed an unusual amount of activity and decided to stop in to see what was going on. I had read about the hotel's restaurant, Aurora, before and thought it would be a good opportunity to check it out while investigating the commotion. It turns out the hotel was hosting the Florida Forensic League Varsity State Tournament, which created a lively and energetic atmosphere throughout the property. We grabbed seats at the bar around 5 p.m., which felt like the perfect time to start with a Ketel One martini with blue cheese olives. The martini was solid, though the blue cheese olives were a bit muted in flavor. From the bar bites menu we tried the pepperoni flatbread and the meatballs. The flatbread had a nicely executed crust -- very crisp with an almost wonton-like texture. While it looked fantastic, the flavor didn't quite match the visual appeal. Still good, just not a standout. The meatballs were unfortunately the weakest of the dishes. They were quite dry and tasted as though they may have been reheated more than once. The marinara sauce, however, was flavorful and helped salvage the dish. I actually found the best combination was breaking up the meatball, adding extra marinara and crushed red pepper flakes, and spooning it onto the flatbread -- which made for a surprisingly good bite. The space itself is very inviting with open views of the pool and lobby area, and the bar makes for a great place to relax and people-watch. If you're stopping in for drinks, this is definitely the spot to sit. Cocktails lean toward hotel pricing -- the martini was $21 -- though the beers we had afterward were more reasonable at about $8. Overall, a pleasant first visit. Aurora has a welcoming atmosphere and seems like a great place to meet friends for drinks or a casual bite. I'll be back to explore more of their full menu in the near future.

We went back again, for dinner this time. Such a fun place for a nice meal when visiting UCF. We started with the jackfruit tostachos and they were very unique. Then we had the crispy barramundi, filet mignon, and winter salad with chicken. All were really good. The service was attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Came in for dinner for our anniversary. We were greeted by a very friendly host who also gave us a card from the restaurant. We also arrived and the valet was super friendly and told us parking was free with validation at the restaurant. We started with the pesto arancini which came out hot and cooked very well. I wish there was more pesto flavor, but they were delicious either way. My husband had the kangaroo and it was like a country fried steak. He really enjoyed it and found it full of lots of flavor. I had the scallops with the corn mash. It was a great balance of flavor with the seasoning on the scallops and the corn. We both really enjoyed our food and the server was very friendly. It was also great to see all of the staff helping to run food and checking on the tables around the restaurant. It seemed like it was a great team environment. We did have the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. It was small, which was perfect, since it was so rich. I could only take a bite or two since I was also full. The decor was all space themed and very unique. Great dining at a reasonable price point!

Amazing. I haven't been to a creative place like Aurora in awhile. I went for magical dining and it just happened to be during a game at UCF. Given the circumstances and how busy it was I still felt that service was good.I wanted to try the whole menu so I went for duck Nachos, kangaroo Katsu, and the pistachio cake. Everything was delicious. I wasn't sure if I would like kangaroo but it was really good. It almost tasted like veal. My friend got the Argentinean shrimp, ribs, and the supernova dessert. All were good as well.

Aurora has been on my list to try for quite awhile now. When I saw it was part of Magical Dining Month, I knew it was time to make that move. First off, the staff here are really friendly, from the valet parking all the way up to management, they make you feel like a valued guest. The kangaroo was the main draw for me, but my favorite dish turned out to be the curry goat empanadas. The empanadas were large, perfectly cooked, and not too heavy on the curry. and I really appreciated that since I'm picky about yellow curry. The sauce that came with them was a perfect complement. I also recommend the duck nachos. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about duck and cheese, but they went together very well. I'd get them again. The kangaroo was definitely different. It reminded me of a breaded veal cutlet. That's the best comparison I can make. It had an oddly sweet flavor that had me thinking it was the meat, but it turned out to be the breading. Once I removed some of it, I was able to detect the real flavor of the kangaroo. It took me a few bites to wrap my head around it, but it was decent. The thought of it was more exciting than the actual taste. For dessert I got the coconut milk rice pudding. It was fine, nothing remarkable. The supernova, on the other hand was delicious and presented in an entertaining way. In the end, the kangaroo brought me to the restaurant, but the empanadas will bring me back.

One if the best restaurant in Orlando. Aurora is just an amazing experience in terms of the quality of food ,the amount , the service in a great ambiance!! The size of the dishes are almost a 2 person service and the prices are pre covid. Is a jewel in the middle of UCF. Enjoy the magical dinning that for $40 you will eat plenty and take some home..

I came here for their bite 30. Ended up ordering the duck nachos kangaroo kat and blueberry bread pudding. My friend got the curry goat empanadas and I'm glad she did because I really didn't like my duck nachos. It seemed like there was essence of duck on it. The kangaroo was interesting. Definitely something I wanted to try and can knock it off my bucket list. The bread pudding was the star of the night though. There was the perfect amount of fruit to go with the bread. It was so big though. I ended up having to bring it home and finish it later. Which my husband was happy about. The service who was friendly we did run out of water and he didn't bring us a refill. I didn't ask either though, but normally they refill the sheraf when it gets empty. It's a cute little restaurant and has a photo moment before you walk in. I would come back for the curry goat empanadas and dessert.

Ask the Community - Aurora At The Celeste

Is the lunch menu also available during brunch?

Yes, the lunch menu is also available during brunch.

    Is there a dress code?

There is not. It's a hotel restaurant so they realize people will be coming and going. Although both times I have eaten there, I was not staying there. They have a bar area outside the restaurant. It's upscale casual if you're looking for a baseline…

Do they offer Thanksgiving and/or Christmas dinners? If so, what is the cost and how do we reserve? Thank you.

They have been offering holiday brunch buffet from 11am - 3pm. I suggest following them on social media for details and announcements (menu, price, etc). For instance, Thanksgiving 2023, they are offering one for $89.

    Is there outdoor seating?

Yes we have outdoor seating for the restaurant Aurora, it is a covered patio with views of out beautiful courtyard, it's like an oasis in the middle of East Orlando.…

We also tried the quesadillas and sliders on the happy hour menu. Both dishes tasted incredible! Sadly, though the happy hour has half priced apps, the plates are also half sized. They were absolutely delicious, but the dishes felt overpriced for the portion size. As for drinks, I tried the sangria flight. I wasn't expecting such a full portion size and was pleasantly surprised with that. I did, however, only find 2 of the 4 drinks to be especially tasty. I wouldn't order that flight again, but would be interested in their wine offerings. I loved the low lighting in the space as it set such a calm and laid back mood. I was immediately greeted by the hostess. I explained that it was my first time and she was kind enough to make some menu recommendations. Since it was early we were promptly seating. We took the stairs to our table upstairs. We were seated near a wall and the bar. I waiter promptly came over to greet us. I wanted to try a few things but the brunch menu was sort of limited. I opted for crispy Mac & cheese bites, french toast, and breakfast croissant sandwich. The mac & cheese bites were crispy but could have used a little more seasoning and a little more cheese filling. The French toast was 2 pieces of toast with maple syrup and fruit. I opted to leave the fruit off with the current health concerns with raw food. It would have been nice to have been offered a substitute but I wasn't so I paid $18 for 2 pieces of French toast. I feel like the French toast would have been a better choice if it was accompanied with choice of, chicken sausage or regular sausage and eggs. That would have made a more complete brunch. The French toast was ok but could have used a little more flavor (ie cinnamon, vanilla, etc). The syrup was a very good grade of maple syrup and tasted so good. I did add 2 eggs for $6. Lastly had the breakfast croissant sandwich with grits. The sandwich was good I did substitute the regular sausage for chicken sausage. The chicken sausage was delicious. I was very pleased with the grits they were so good. Overall, the portions are small especially for the price. The restaurant is in a prime location, right in the center of Disney Springs and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I would like to return for lunch or dinner in the cooler months so I may dine on the second floor patio over looking Disney Springs.

In the cooler months, the patio is just a vibe! The interior is just as charming with "French-inspired" influences, lovely lighting & decor that ties in the European escape this wine bar beautifully embodies. On my first visit, we tried to sit outdoors, but the Florida heat (& bees) had other plans for us. So, we transitioned inside and sat at their bar area. We were immediately greeted by the kindest servers who guided us on their menu selections. My friend and I, with similar wine tastes (we both love our wines DRY like DESERT), both opted for a glass of rosé and YUM! We followed it up with a white selection recommended by our server, and we enjoyed it immensely. Truly ten, ten, tens across the board! We did not eat (which, in all honesty, is okay with me). And based on reviews from various other Yelpers, the consensus SEEMS to be to eat prior to coming to Lorelei. So, I kept that in mind and on my second visit to Lorelei, I decided to just try MORE of their wine selection. On my most recent visit, we did try some light bites. Typically, on all my visits, I usually cap around two glasses of wine, and it's reasonable. They are not the cheapest spot, especially if you add food to your tab, but for the quality, it is worth it (to me as it relates to the wine selection), as I haven't really had a terrible glass of wine there. Maybe on my next visit, I'll try more of their food menu. Beyond that, Lorelei has been a great addition to the Mills 50 District! I am looking forward to how they will grow with the community!

What a great way to spend a rainy Wednesday afternoon. We arrived a little after 3pm, and were…read moreseated at a high top next to the bar. At this time, the restaurant was quiet, but by the time we left the place was packed. It should be noted we left at closing time as we had such a fun and enjoyable experience. Our happiness (and the fact we spent almost seven hours here) was due to our server, Emily B. Although Emily told us she has only been working as a server here for the last two weeks, I think she will have a great run at this location. She has an effervescent personality and was easy to talk to and laugh with, which she displayed to all of her customers. Obviously, we became good friends with her throughout the night. Emily allowed us to have a tasting of various wines to determine which one we would like to select for the evening. We went with the Adelsheim Pinot Noir ($88 a bottle) to start the night. We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates (serving of three), the Burrata (a combination of cheese, basil pesto, tomatoes and balsamic dijon vinaigrette on wood grilled ciabatta bread), the Tuna Crudo (seared ahi tuna with cucumbers, pineapple and cilantro) and a board consisting of Spanish style salame and aged Gouda cheese. The board also had roasted almonds and honeycomb, along with the bread. As the night continued, we ordered another bottle of the Pinot Noir and a second helping of the fantastic Burrata. We appreciated the fact that we were not rushed from our table as we were allowed to have a relaxing and enjoyable evening of great conversation. At the end of the night, Emily provided us with a slice of olive oil citrus cake on the house. (What a thoughtful touch!) It was a heavenly ending to the evening and went well with our wine selection. If you are ever at this Winter Park location, I highly recommend you request Emily B.'s section if you are able to do so. As stated above, she made our evening. Thank you, Emily B!

During my recent visit to Sixty Vines in Winter Park, I really liked the way the restaurant looks…read morefrom the street. It's decorated with lots of plants and flowers, which makes it stand out. Once you walk inside, the ambiance is very relaxed with a nice country-style vibe. If you're planning to come here, I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We had to wait for our table, so it's better to plan ahead. As far as the food, I ordered something that was okay, but honestly, it didn't really blow my mind. The people I was with ordered the chicken sandwich and tomato soup, and they really enjoyed those. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest issue during our visit. I would give the service 2 stars out of 5. It took a very long time for our waitress to come over and take our order. There were also several issues with the drinks. She brought mine but forgot the rest of the party. Later, she brought one more and then forgot another one. She seemed to be all over the place, and eventually we had to ask someone else for one of my kids' drinks. When she finally came back, she explained that they were out of some of the items we had ordered, so one person in our party couldn't get what they originally wanted. After we placed the new order, it also took quite some time for the food to come out. We were there around lunchtime, so I was surprised that the service was moving so slowly. One thing to know is that they currently only have one menu for brunch and dinner which would be helpful for checking the options ahead of time. On the bright side, they do have happy hour, which is always a plus. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the location, but the service definitely needs some improvement. This location is right on Park Avenue in Winter Park, so it's a nice area to visit and walk around afterward.
