We enjoyed such an amazing meal. We started off with seared ahi tuna with fennel and mussel broth. The tuna was cooked perfectly. The broth was such a compliment to the tuna. The next course was prosciutto wrapped artichoke served over a lovely bed of lemon basil risotto. Wow..just wow!! We ended our meal with a smoked rack of pork with a delicious blueberry and blackberry Malbec a jus served with fingerling potatoes roasted with parsley and olive oil. The service was beyond amazing! NOTE: The restaurant is inside the clubhouse of a retirement community. They recently (in the last year) opened up to the public. Don't let that deter you from coming to try their delicious food :) the staff let us that this is a scratch kitchen and you can definitely tell by the quality of the ingredients! Even their pasta made in house! My friend and I came for Bite30 and had a great time! I loved every part of the food selection here except maybe the appetizers. Drinks were fantastic. There were too many seeds/nuts on the peach moscato and the eggplant caprese stack for my taste, but if you love nuts and seeds you'll love it. The entrees and the desserts were OUT OF THIS WORLD THOUGH! We were so full from the appetizer and entree that we thought we wouldn't be able to eat the dessert BUT WE SCARFED IT DOWN LIKE THE SWEET-TOOTHED HUMANS WE ARE. The staff were so so kind and attentive, and they all seemed like a very close knit work family. Our server was super duper informed on everything we asked. A lovely, peaceful restaurant at The Mayflower retirement village. The service was excellent and the food was nearly as good. We had chicken Marsala, the catch of the day, and a shrimp and sausage pasta dish with red sauce. Each of us was very happy with our entrees. We had the cru-schetta for an appetizer - it was ok, but probably wouldn't order again. The topping was just ok and the bread-type meant it was soggy. We plan to return. read more

Hidden gem in the winter park area! Service was attentive and helpful, and the food was tasty. We visited for Bite30 and were impressed. The fresh al dente pasta in my shrimp scampi was a delight. The filet was not the best we have had, but it was good! I loved the tiramisu. Extensive wine list, try a flight. My husband and I recently attended date night here and o must say the food was great! For those who are unaware, the restaurant is located in a senior living community. Within the restaurant itself you could feel it, almost all patron were significantly older than us, the light were turned up all the way and it felt very country club like. We loved our experience at Cru Quarters. The facility is really nice and has multiple seating areas and experiences (main, outdoors, kitchen area, pizza bar, cocktail bar, etc.). They also have a killer theater room and game area you can rent out. Keep in mind this is a retirement home and they are not open too late. Chef Patrick trained at Le Cordon Bleu and was executive chef at Antonio's Maitland for almost a decade. We had dinner in the main dining room and were served by Melina who was lovely and spent a lot of time with the sommelier, Chelsea. There are two sommeliers there (Chelsea and Elvis, also dining manager) and another in training. We opted to go rogue and off the Bite 30 menu and try a bunch of items all paired with wine. They had a unique and extensive wine list and can also curate flights as well. Appetizers: Complimentary Bread and Olive Oil - this was SO good. It's also the same as their pizza crust so I'm coming back for the pizza soon! Corn Ribs - these were really different and we loved them. It has a delicious spice and cut in a way where you can eat off the cob - but it's messy so grab an extra napkin and get your nails done afterwards, not before. Moscato Peaches - A wonderful appetizer and really unexpected. They are not sweet and more of a marinated flavor. The blend with the cheese is so good. Mains: Scallops - these were delicious. They were perfectly cooked and a nice portion. The sauce with the potatoes was excellent too. Lobster Ravioli - jam packed with lobster and the most amazing sauce. We sopped it up with bread and other items. The only feedback I had here was to thin out the pasta a bit. I'd definitely get these again. Desserts - we couldn't decide and they were out of the popular lemon option: Berries and Amaretto Cream - this was my favorite. Keep in mind it's not sweet. I liked the coconut and shaved nuts with the fresh berries and delicious cream. It was thicker, more like a yogurt and tasty. Tiramisu - a very large portion and very good as expected. Crème Crulee - This is essentially a crème brûlée as far as I could tell. Very good. We would come back here and I'm already anticipating the pizzas. The prices are so good especially for Winter Park and all the dishes are unique (except for a couple standard and very good desserts). Our entire bill came out to only $140 including taxes, a steal. We opted for some of the more expensive options but there are also the pizzas ($8-12), sandwiches, burgers and a lot of other items. It's quite an extensive menu and they have weekly / monthly / seasonal specials. I'd highly recommend giving it a try. Parking is easy, everyone is super friendly and you will enjoy the vibe. We visited Cru Quarters for Bite30 this past weekend. It's off of Aloma right before you get to the main shopping/eating strip. We were unaware it even existed and while doing research I found out it's at a senior living facility. I called to make sure that we were allowed to visit and were told yes, that it's open to the public! The restaurant is very large and nice, our server told us they opened in March of 2023. We ordered the Bite30 menu plus flights. They have a huge menu which includes several flights, one of which is half beer, half wine! The flights range from $10-14 which is very reasonable. Honestly, their regular menu was very reasonably priced which is a breath of fresh air these days. I got the wine flight that is designed for beer lovers (love that!) and my BF got the flight with two beers and two wines. We both really enjoyed our flights. We were served pita bread with olive oil for dipping as well as our 3 course meals. For appetizers we ordered the fish dip and the moscato peaches. Both were very good and the portion was just right! We both got the filet as our entree and expected it to be a teensy portion since filet is not cheap. We were pleasantly surprised to see a much larger steak than expected. It came with mashed potatoes that were kind of like a potato ball but without the meat inside and it also came with asparagus topped with cheese. Service was great, our server checked on us often and one of the managers came by to say hello and see how our meal was. For dessert I got the creme brulee and my boyfriend got the lemon tart. Both were very good and again, just the right portion size. We are so happy that Bite30 introduced us to Cru Quarters, we plan to come back soon! read more

This beautiful restaurant is at The Mayflower Senior Living complex. We met Chef Patrick at a foodie event where his scallop appetizer was the best offering there, and this year they are participating in Bite30. Our server steered us around some of the more controversial dishes and service was excellent. We very much enjoyed our meals, and the ingredients were all top shelf, but the tagliatelle was overcooked and stuck together. I would also opt for something other than the Gelati Trio as the Smoked Vanilla Bean tasted of campfire burnt marshmallows, the Mango Moscato was icy, and I have no idea why they topped it with micro greens instead of mint. Maybe ask for three scoops of the Dark Chocolate Zinfandel instead, which was very good. They very appreciatively replaced this dessert with their tasty Creme Crulee. For the price, this is a winner and they seem to have great brunch and brunch buffet offerings on the weekends. We came for Bite30 this week and admittedly did not know it was located at an assisted living facility. Even driving to the restaurant, I thought it might have been part of a hotel but upon entering and seeing the weekly board of activities and the older clientele, we figured it out. Regardless, the restaurant was large and well decorated with a fire pit and open kitchen concept when you first walk in and even a bar. Our server was very sweet and made some awesome recommendations. We also had put in our open table reservation that we were celebrating a special occasion and our table received a complimentary glass of champagne! We especially loved the corn 'ribs', filet, and tiramisu. There was a bad storm during our dinner and there was a slight leak from the light fixture but nothing that couldn't be avoided by a shift in seats. The regular menu was very expensive and included a recommended wine pairing with each option. Upon exiting, the manager gave us a tour of the game and movie room and encouraged us to visit again. This was a pleasant surprise. I have never heard of this place and was skeptical. BUT the service was great, the food was OVER the top delicious. We went for Bite 30 and it exceeded our expectations. The ap's were amazing and the steak was PERFECT. Drinks were novel. I totally want to go back tonight. The only flaw was that it is a "NO CASH" resturant. I personally do not like that idea. You can tip in cash, which I did. Good food. read more
