I really like this salon. Very warm and inviting. Set up is amazing. I had my hair cut and colored and love my experience.

I got hybrid lash extension at Shiloh Lash Lounge on 4/17/26 with "Senior Stylist" Jhave' B. The…read moreappointment went fine & she was nice. I paid, tipped & went about my way. By midnight, AT LEAST 20 fans had fallen out. I arrived at Lash Lounge the morning of 4/18/26 (They DAY OF my birthday & brunch, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid, hence why I came yesterday for the service) to get this resolved and despite their opening time being 9am, they were not open & I stood outside in the cold, calling 3 times & leaving 1 voicemail, until 9:18am and they still were not open. I then went go sit in my car. I finally saw a light come on about 5 or so minutes later & approached the entrance again. The door was still locked. The front desk receptionist had to come unlock the door despite it being business hours, which I'm pretty sure is a violation of a code in itself. After explaining the situation & her calling the manager. She returned and initiated a refund, which is all fine and dandy, but I still have a "full set" of lash extensions with spaces and gapes all over. The front desk receptionist then tells me the "senior stylist" that did my lashes won't be in until 10am & she has a 10am appt with no openings today except for MAYBE being able to squeeze me in at 1pm. She then goes on to tell me that I wasn't even a candidate for lash extensions but the stylist did them anyway. Would I not be wise to inform me of that? Especially since I've gotten lash extensions HERE AT THIS VERY LOCATION multiple times & have never been informed of this NOR had an issues with my lash extensions. When Jhave got her she came out front (The kindness from yesterday was no longer present which seemed to rub off on the receptionist as well as our interaction leading up to this was completely fine. She had up to this point been very kind & helpful. She actually looked appalled when I showed her the photo of how many fans had fallen out) and said that "They informed me of your issue. I wouldn't know if it's an issue with me. It could be the humidity." She then went on to blame me stating that I move/fidget during my appointments (I don't move my head, I fidget with my arms/hands due to personal & medical reasons) and that I got up to use the restroom during my application (again for personal/medical reasons which I DID IN FACT ask her if that would be ok/if it would affect anything). I explained to her that these EXACT things have taken place at all of my appointments, as I made them aware of at my VERY FIRST appointment at Lash Lounge Shiloh over 2 years ago with a lash tech by the name of Kelsey! My 5 star review is actually still up! I shouldn't have to air out my health battles in a Lash Lounge lobby. I then asked Jhave what the actually issue was because the receptionist told me that I was not a candidate but the service was performed anyway. Jhave then told me that this was in fact, not correct information and the receptionist mixed me up with another patron (another mistake/misinformation on their part). I now have to cancel my birthday brunch. This is not how I imagined or planned my birthday this year.

literally the worst salon experience I've had. I usually go to my friends salon in Saint Peter's,…read morebut she was fully booked today so this was my last option and I guess this was my karma for cheating on my nail girl. I went in wanting a manicure and gel X on my real nail the man who fucked me up is a older man with some gray hairs on his beard and extremely dry hands. It felt like sandpaper, his nails were disgusting almost as bad as his service. for my manicure service that he gave me he cut down my cuticles and that was it then he kept nudging me to get dip powder. I said no because I was not getting acrylic nails and dip looks ugly on real nail, especially since I have very short nails since I am an aesthetician, I cannot have long nails at all. He kept nudging me so I said yes thinking that maybe I could be wrong since he is the professional I should listen to his advice. I chose a baby pink color he pulls out the dip powder and it is hot pink. He does a couple of layers on it and it looks disgustingly chunky I ask him if the color is going to lighten up he says yes mind you he is halfway done with the dip and it is still hot pink. He finishes and I say this isn't the color that I wanted he says what do you mean? I said this is too bright because it looked like I had a highlighter on my fingernail. He goes back and pulls out the colors and points at a purple color and a teal color and says this isn't the color that you wanted I look at him and I say no I wanted this color and point the baby pink one why he pointed at purple and teal when I didn't have purple or teal on my fingernail. God knows. he continues to laugh. I say it's OK. It doesn't matter because I wanted leave. My service got finished at 4:20 and they close at five so I didn't wanna cause any trouble. He gave me a $15 discount since the color was wrong mind, you not only was the color and him making my fingernail look extremely lumpy from the dip. He filed my nails down so much. That half of my nail is gone I came in with short nails in the beginning and now it hurts to use my fingertips. I ended up paying 35 for the service. I live five minutes away. I went home and I called my mother not knowing what to do in this situation because I do not like confrontation. I ask her if whenever she gets home from her job we can go back together and hopefully get something fixed. She ends up calling the salon and tells them that I'm going to come in and I need my nails fixed because they were so disgusting. I don't know how that man got a job I left the salon with powder, stuck on my fingers, not on my fingernail on my fingers. I come back to the salon and the man who done my nails points at me and laughs. A nice lady sets me down at a desk and starts doing my nails, the man who done my nails previously continues to stare at me and laugh at me he turns around and starts, mocking me and yes, it was in a different language but he was doing it in a very high-pitched voice and throwing his arms around and bobbing his head around. The lady who fixed my nails was pleasant, but I don't think she understood that I cannot have my nails a certain type. They have to be a neutral color and short she kept on nagging me about how they were so short mind you her coworker made them this short and how the color that I chose was too bright and how I should add sparkle, she was just being sweet, trying to give advice, but I stated multiple times that I cannot have my nails that way she then says you bite your nails huh? I said no. that did not seem like a professional thing to ask. It felt very judgmental the whole time and I will not be coming back here. Also, she nicked me while she was cutting access skin and I bled which is not a big deal, but her sanitary precautions was a big deal. She continue to apply the nail polish while I was bleeding and continued the service with a blood on my nail, and it was a good amount so whoever gets the baby pink nail polish that I got used on me today enjoy my DNA.
