Like previous reviews mentioned, Lost Kingdom used to be a firehouse that was converted into a brewery. They kept the firehouse feel with large open garage doors upon entry, firehouse memorabilia throughout the space (including an entire half of an old firetruck you can climb on), and by being pet friendly. This isn't a big brewery, but the feel and decor has been fully modernized - I was a fan of the aesthetics. The employees were super friendly and had a good sense of humor. They also had a nice selection of beers and really large, private bathrooms (ALWAYS a plus ;-) Definitely worth a stop if you're drinking around the lakes.

We had pretty much any choice of seating and started with their Festbier & Altbier. For food we shared their Bavarian Pretzel Bites, Pork Schnitzel & their Beer Brat. All of it was excellent - days later and we're still talking about their coleslaw. In a world where breweries have opted for serving pizza, it was a fun change to have German food. Everyone is super friendly, so if you're ever lonely or bored, it's a great place to stop by, and hang out, you're almost guaranteed to make new friends. Parking can be tricky if they are busy, but people park on the street as long as they don't block any cars from getting by. I also love that they allow dogs, on leash, and they can't beg.
