It's been a while since we last visited Two Goats, and it reminded me of a spot closer to home--one that would easily become a regular hangout. We had the chance to try some great beers, and one unique experience stood out: mixing two beers together, a concept similar to a blend in the wine world. As the bartender put it, "It's a game we like to play." On tap, they had a solid lineup: 1. Hector Logger - A traditional lager (4.9% ABV) 2. Goatmaster Kölsch - A crisp Kölsch (5.1% ABV), which I tried and really enjoyed 3. RedBeard - A Red Ale (5% ABV), a reliable go-to beer 4. Cream Ale - A bit different at 6.7% ABV, more robust than the typical lower-ABV versions 5. Golden Crush - A hazy IPA (5.1% ABV) that had nice fruit-forward notes, but not overpowering 6. X IPA - An Imperial IPA (7.8% ABV) Mosaic! Mosaic! - A Pale Ale (5.2% ABV) that followed the traditional pale ale profile and was very enjoyable 7. Goatmeal Stout - An Oatmeal Stout (8.1% ABV) Then came the blends--something I hadn't seen much of before. The only one I tried was 1. Goat Juice, a 50/50 mix of Hazy IPA and Kölsch (5.1% ABV). It was bursting with amazing flavors, the best of both worlds. Some of their other blends included: 2. Red X - A mix of Red Ale and Imperial IPA 3. Goatgasm - A Kölsch and IPA blend 4. Headbutt - A Stout and Cream Ale combo I tend to gravitate toward Hazies, Kölsches, and Pale Ales, so this place hit all the right notes for me. I can't wait to come back and see what new creations they have on tap next time!

We are so excited that my husband and I drove down the road, and we saw where Two Goats Brewing was. Once we saw it, we had to go their and check it out. Wow, this spot was definitely a hidden gem . It was also extremely packed as well . We loved in how the beer was set at a good price, and it was really good beer. The only thing is I wish they had more of a selection for food wise. Maybe it's something they need to think about expanding. The band that they had playing there was great as well. Overall, this place was amazing, and I would definitely come back here and enjoy an amazing view of looking at the vineyards.

Amazing views and fun beers! Two Goats was super close to our airbnb so we stopped by for a pre-dinner drink. We were there just prior to sunset (golden hour, you know), so it was relatively crowded. Plus, it was a gorgeous day and there was a live band, so not surprising at the folks there! Luckily, my husband and I snagged seats together to enjoy our brews. Their options are vast enough but not too many to make you feel overwhelmed. My husband went for a flight, which he enjoyed. Their flights are pre-fixed and appealed to his tastes but not mine, so I just went for a single pour. Two Goats offers blended beers (just 2 types mixed together), which is unique. I went for the Goat Juice, a blend of their hazy IPA and kolsch. I appreciated how the lighter kolsch cut the heaviness of the IPA, making for an overall refreshing and drinkable beer. We didn't eat anything during our visit, but we appreciated the fresh popcorn that was up for grabs! I'm so glad we went when we did so we could enjoy the lovely view of the sunset reflecting on the lake. Highly recommend Two Goats for a fun blended beer and beautiful views of Seneca!

Really nice experience at Two Goats! We were looking for a place for a light, informal dinner open later on a Tuesday and this was just the spot we needed. Their menu is not very extensive in terms of food but their beef sandwiches with chips and pickles hit the spot, washed down with some great beer. I had the Goatgasm because omg the name and it was tasty- it's a mix of the IPA and a lighter beer which was just perfect. We enjoyed our beer and meal on their patio with a nice view of the sunset. Bartender was excellent making recommendations and offering samples. My bf and friend did flights. Lots of kitschy decor and free popcorn!

Stayed in Watkins Glen for the weekend for a race! A post-race beer tour was necessary. Grabbed a drink at Two Goats and sat outside. Incredible view of the lake and the beer was amazing.

Great experience all around. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The beef on a weck was better than I remembered. I had the Chardonnay that was perfect on a hot summer day. My husband had a red ale that was great with the beef. The view was spectacular. A nice relaxing lunch on our way to the Corning Museum.

    Dog friendly inside and outside!

The most beautiful views of Seneca Lake. Beers are also outstanding. We go here every trip up and it never disappoints. It can get crowded in weather is not ideal but there is plenty of outdoor spots to hang on the deck. Dog friendly inside and outside!

I am so happy my wife and i drove past this place. Everything was amazing, from the vibe to the views and the beer as well. The bartender was very nice and gave good insight into each beer and great service. They let you sample any beer you want before you make your final selection. I would recommend this brewery to anyone visiting this area

Excellent beer and what a scenic view of Seneca Lake! This is a must do if you're in the area doing the wineries! Excellent classic rock music and an overall great vibe! So glad we turned in here on a whim!

As everyone has said, great views, great vibe. It's really cool inside as well as the nice decks outside overlooking the whole lake and lake valley. I tried all the beers and was extremely impressed with the exception of the X-IPA. My favorites were the go easy blonde, Hugh Hefe, brown ale (great), and goatmaster Kolsch. On another level entirely was the Golden Crush New England pale ale. It was absolutely unbelievable. It captured that whole New England IPA flavor in a less hoppy, cloudy, lower alcohol version. One of the best pale ales in that style I have ever had. For food they have roast beef on wick rolls, hummus, and tortilla chips as their options. The beef on Wick was very good @ $12 with chips

One of our favorite stops during our weekend trip to the finger lakes. The brewery has a great view of Seneca lake and there was also live music! We also really enjoyed the beer flight. They also serve wine with generous pour! Great vibes and weather!

Once for a bonfire! Lol It's a local thing. They have a wonderful casual deck. I love sitting out there. On this last visit, we skipped the beers, and went straight for Babe's burgers. They are stationed on the deck. I ordered their burger with carmelized onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Pickle on the side. The tomato was a farm fresh Tomato which is AWESOME! It was a local farm grown tomato, and the burger was delish. We ordered a small fries, and 3 of us shared them, and still threw some out. Yes, a small is that large. They don't sell drinks at the babes burger window. We got those at the bar. They had a free water jug, with plastic cups. I ordered a Waterloo sparking water, one friend had regular water, and the last had a soda. Because the owner makes their own beer there. I highly recommend checking them out, for beers and burgers. We didn't order any this time, because we were getting ready to go on a long drive. But....Since I live there, I can confirm their beer is worth it! I love their casual atmosphere, it's a great place to go to talk and dine. It's a local place, so it wouldn't be awkward to see go there and run into friends and start combining tables. Everyone is super friendly, so if you're ever lonely or bored, it's a great place to stop by, and hang out, you're almost guaranteed to make new friends. Parking can be tricky if they are busy, but people park on the street as long as they don't block any cars from getting by. I also love that they allow dogs, on leash, and they can't beg. Common sense rules, so don't leave your dog at home. Bring them out!

Although it's more of the modern feel than the earthy feel that I prefer, Tin Barn more than makes up for it with an awesome view of Seneca Lake, an expansive outdoor seating area, and friendly staff. Pretty much all their Hazy IPAs were quite nice. And they had a large selection of them. All the way from sessions to triples. I also tried the fruit sour - which is not really my type of beer - but I think they did a good job on that one too, very fruity. Hazy IPA's are their thing - they did have a couple others like the sour and a blonde, but this is mostly a place to go for a hazy. We also got food. I thought the pretzel sticks with mustard where quite good - although I ordered the beer cheese with them and was pretty unimpressed with that and wished I had just stuck with the mustard. I also go the Buffalo chicken nachos which were decent. Not blow me away, but tasty. And very filling. Great space. Huge indoor and outdoor space. Big patio with a gorgeous view of Seneca Lake. This was our very first time visiting, and we hadn't even realized they had been established since 2007! Knowing that they had been perfecting their craft for over 17 years, we were eager to dive into the tasting experience and see what they had to offer. The tasting room had a laid-back yet polished feel, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to guide us through their lineup of small-batch, handcrafted spirits. The distillery prides itself on using locally sourced grains and fruits, and you could tell from the first sip that quality and attention to detail were at the heart of their process. The Tasting Lineup I opted for a tasting of four different spirits, and after enjoying those, I was encouraged to try two more--a bonus that made the experience even better. Here's what I sampled: 1 Straight Bourbon - This was beautifully balanced, with sweet corn and vanilla upfront, followed by a warming spicy rye kick on the finish. Smooth yet complex, it was a fantastic introduction to their bourbon lineup. 2 Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon - A true standout, this one had rich caramel and toasted oak flavors, along with the perfect balance of spice and warmth. Aged for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof, it had a bold yet refined character that made it easy to appreciate. 3 McKenzie Straight Rye - If you're a fan of rye whiskey, this one is for you. It had that signature spicy rye bite, but what really made it unique was the sweet sherry cask finish, adding a layer of richness and complexity that lingered beautifully. 4 Bottled-in-Bond Rye - One of the most interesting pours of the day, this rye was bursting with flavors of chocolate, nougat, and dried red fruit. The influence of the barrel aging was prominent, giving it a decadent, almost dessert-like quality while still holding onto its classic rye spice. After those four, I couldn't resist trying two additional spirits: 5 Apple Brandy (Aged 10 Years) - A masterfully aged apple brandy that showcased deep, caramelized apple flavors, balanced with warm baking spices and oak influence. The 10 years in the barrel really allowed this spirit to develop incredible depth and smoothness. 6 Grappa - This was an unexpected favorite--simply sensational. Grappa can sometimes be overpowering, but this one was smooth, refined, and packed with rich grape flavors, making it one of the best versions I've tried. Taking a Piece of Finger Lakes Distilling Home While every single pour was impressive, the one that stood out the most for me was the Straight Bourbon--so much so that I had to bring a bottle home. It reminded me of a classic Rye Whiskey, with just enough spice to keep things interesting but smooth enough to sip neat. Final Thoughts Finger Lakes Distilling far exceeded expectations, and I can't believe it took us this long to visit! With their commitment to quality, incredible range of spirits, and inviting tasting experience, this is a must-visit for anyone exploring the Finger Lakes region--whether you're a bourbon lover, rye enthusiast, or just appreciate finely crafted spirits. It was the perfect stop to break up a day of wineries and breweries, offering something distinctly different yet equally enjoyable. Next time, I'd love to stay a little longer, maybe sip on a whiskey cocktail and take in the atmosphere even more. Cheers to great whiskey and new discoveries!
