Dr Ahmed Salman was not caring at all when he applied the anesthesia. Immediately after I verbally agreed to the root canal treatment he went in with the numbing gel prior to the anesthesia. He only waited 1-2 seconds before the anesthesia was applied. This was absolutely the most painful application of anesthesia I have ever had. Ive had two other root canals and the doctors never administered without waiting at least a couple minutes before giving the shot. I felt and counted all the shots while grabbing the side of the chairs wanting to scream at the same time. As a had tears in my eyes the Dr decided to ask if I was Okay. He waited about 30 secs and went in for more. After the anesthesia was administered and I was feeling like I couldn't focus on anything after the trauma of the injection. While the Dr. was waiting for it to take effect he then instructed the nurses to give me two releases to sign. I felt this was very inconsiderate of hiw I was feeling. He should've given me the release to sign before the anesthesia and allowed at least a couple of minutes before administering the anesthesia after swabbing me with the numbing gel. I would not advise going to this Dr for a root canal. You will be traumatized for all future dental work. read more

I was headed out of country when tooth pain stopped me cold. I needed a consult to see if I should have the molar pulled or if a root canal was the solution. Previously, I had seen Dr Youseff when I needed extensive treatment to clear up a root canal done 40 years earlier. His staff got me in to see the dentist within 3 hours and the next day, he did an extensive, pain free root canal. I am now heading out on a safari with no worry about being in pain. His expertise, kindness and compassion is the absolute best! No one wants to see an endodontis but when you need one, Dr Youseff is who to call! read more

These guys are incredible. I am so happy with my experience - they actually told me I was their most enthusiastic root canal patient because I was so satisfied with how everything was handled. I had to come in for a root canal and was pretty anxious about it because there was an issue with the tooth having impacted itself. They made it so easy and there were no issues at all! Walked me through what they were doing before they did it, continuously asked if I was okay and comfortable throughout the procedure, and had me on my way in less than 90 minutes. They tell you pricing up front so there are no surprises at the end and you can head home happy. Fantastic service. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They failed surgery twice and have been charging me out of no where. I have paid $800 in hidden fees already. They failed my root canal which was $1,200 out of pocket, then made me pay for a bone graft. Which was $1,500 out of pocket. Why should I pay when they fail. Then a month later, they send me a bill of $300. They had me sign the paper for the charge when I was loopy. I just recently got a $200 charge for a service fee. Never going here again. There is way better places that cost way less than here. Dr. Salman SUCKS at his job. read more

In the past I have had work done here. I've never had any problems with the work. I did end up having a problem with billing last year. I was quoted a price by the staff, and I told them the insurance I had, but that I did not want it used for this procedure, as I had promised these funds to my regular dentist, which he had started the procedure, but it was going to be months and needed the endo work done first, before he could complete the rest, before being able to bill the completed work. Not only did they charge my insurance and then use up my entire available funds, that were supposed to go for my regular dentist, but then told me they should have quoted me a totally different set of figures based on this insurance instead of the ones they used. When I arrange it all, they told me the original figures being used were based on the fact I was paying the entire thing out of pocket. No insurance billing. I didn't find out until months later they had charged my insurance when my dentist found out he wasn't going to get paid what he expected, when we found out the insurance was maxed out. When I addressed Aurora Endodontics about this, I asked to speak with the owner/Endodontist about what his staff had arranged with me. I never received a call. Instead I got a letter, stating that due to the insurance money they received, and the money I already paid, I overpaid them by a few hundred dollars and they refunded that. They also implied in the letter that I was attempting to commit insurance fraud, by not reporting this. If I wasn't asking any insurance company to pay any money for this work, I'm not sure how that is fraud. If I hadn't brought this issue to them, would they have ever said they had been overpaid either? It had been months since they received my money, which was prior to the work done and the money they put a claim in with my insurance and received, had been months before I called. That I paid everything up front and asked them not to put a claim into any insurance, and I was paying it all out of pocket, when they took $1300 from my insurance, that they shouldn't have, I'm not happy. Never receiving a call and then receiving that letter, was very offensive. Like I said, Dr Youseff's work is great. But in their billing, be sure to get everything in writing in advance. I had done this with all previous work and this time we discussed all prices on the phone only. I had trusted the staff to stand behind what they told me, but they didn't. Very disappointing. I may return there for work in the future if I need it, because finding an endo that can handle my unique requirement on IV sedation isn't easy, and he did good work, I'll just be extra careful with the staff from now on with what they tell me they are quoting me prices on the work being done. This was an expensive lesson, about $1,000.00 lesson. Todd A. read more

If they had more stars I'd give him more! Dr. Hesham is absolutely amazing. He's the only dentist that I can comfortably sit in his chair and be 100% at ease. I trust him that much. Usually dental visits are nerve wrecking for me. My teeth are crazy sensitive and go crazy from the simplest filling. He does a root canal for me and I can go home and feel like nothing happened. He's that good. If you need an endo please go see him. No one will do for you what Dr. Hesham can. His office is relaxing and his staff is amazing. They make sure your comfortable every single time. I'm very picky with doctors and dentists and do my research. I would run background checks if I could. He's just amazing. You can go there and fall asleep as he works on your teeth and trust 100% that he won't do something unnecessary and will be conservative and honest with his opinion! Dr. Youssef is the best in town. He's extremely skilled and has a wonderful chairside manner. He has a lot of integrity and treats everyone how he'd want to be treated. His office is lovely and his staff is professional and kind. I can't say enough about this office -- for a specialty practice, they really do make their patients feel special! Getting a root canal? No fun! However, Dr. Youssef made it relatively pain free! I was so nervous and they took such good care of me! He was very experienced and extremely knowledgeable.The office staff is fabulous too, always very professional and friendly. The technical staff who assist Dr. Youssef are equally as knowledgeable and very helpful. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. They went above and beyond to take care of my root canals. I have now had 2 taken care of here. Both were less painful in ALL aspects than a filling.
