Not a bad seed in the Place

Beautiful new theater. Not a bad seat in the house.! Beautiful clean bathrooms. Seats are comfortable. Wish they would've given you a little more room so you could get out if you need to nice Bar . Lots of great restaurants nearby. This place is a win will be back.

Great local venue in downtown Lawrenceville that is only going to get better. Tonight, Valentines Day 2020, my wife and enjoyed some cabaret music by these very talented ladies who played some music from the band Heart.

First class in every respect! All the seats have good views of the stage. Prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality of the performances. Twice a year there are musicals and the rest of the season has good variety. Free parking in the adjacent garage. Restaurants nearby for a before-theater dinner or after performance drink. The best part is the quality of the actors and actresses and the professional performances. The Autumn, 2017 musical is Hunchback of Notre Dame and it is fantastic. The set and costumes are Amazing. Special prices for seniors and for people under 35. Different surprises on week nights, from free tacos (Tuesdays) to wine and beer(Thursdays). Matinees on weekends.

This aurora theater is a gem to the lawrenceville area. It's nestled right in downtown near the government building and all the food options. I loved the covered parking and walking up a short flight of steps to come into their side entrance. Parking is free! The aurora theater is an old church, with some of the pews still used for their snack bar table. It has a grand theater, which seats roughly around 200+, and a smaller stage area with seating around 75+ max. The grand theater has the most comfortable seats in it! This time of year, Christmas, they host trees sponsored by different companies in the community. So before you walk in to catch your show, you can view 25+ different trees in their lobby. It's a really nice set-up. They also have a full bar and the prices are not crazy at all ($9 for a double gin and sprite in a talk cup is really great). There is also a snack bar, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks. Pricing on shows isn't bad either, considering some shows they have are right off Broadway. They are currently offering a deal on a mini-season pass too where you pay $74 for 3 shows (value of $250 I believe). We went to "12 Dates of Christmas" in the smaller stage room. A little more intimate and close up. I was expecting the show to be more comedy but it was a narrative with some comedy mixed in (a chuckle here and there). I liked the part where she got people up on stage with her bc that was less scripted and more improvised. I even got called up. I think the actor was very talented but could have used more comedy in it. Otherwise a decent show. The staff was very friendly as well, and the bartender was extremely nice. Check out their website if you are close by. They have some great professional shows and it'll save you from going downtown. I know we'll be back to check out some more of their offerings.

Not my style but when I feel disrespected something has to be done…read more I never checked to see reviews or anything about this school and to my surprise the feeling is shared. My wife (thank god, deals with schools and so on but last week when I went to see my daughter in practice after 1 hour or so I had something to take care of out the school and was to go back and pick up my daughter. My wife told me Lori Zamzow is the owner and I went over to let her know that my daughter would miss 2 shows on the 20th and 21st because I had booked in April a family trip to celebrate her 15th birthday. She did not even let me start talking, She ignored me and said to talk to Brooke Burgess (School Director) I said, I was told it was going to be difficult and they both looked at each other but I still went to talk to Burgess. I let her know that my daughter would be missing 2 shows me thinking is the right thing to do but nope, what a mistake, Burgess had no idea on what to do and went back to Lori Zamzow. She came over and told me about the commitment and all on the contract and I said, I understand but when the trip was made I chose the dates I did base on last years show dates (picture of last year schedule attach) She said to me that I need to cancel the trip I said I cant. told me to get my money back, I said impossible. Told me of the contract and I said I understand but I cant re-schedule this trip, ships don't leave at my convenience and I already had made a payment back in April for over 10k. At the end of the conversation I did say that the situation was making my blood boil and I took full responsibility for booking this trip thinking school would be over by the 18th but no, It did not work out that way. After almost 4 years committed to making sure this company gets paid on time, credit card on file for automatic payments and my wife taking my kid there and me after work picking her up what did Lori Zamzow do? she told Brooke Burgess like 20 min after I left the school to call me and she said, can you cancel that trip? Can you get a refund? can your reschedule? NO NO NO, this is a bully that barks because they know they have are kids there and they know how to crush them. She kicked my daughter out of: The Nativity Ballet show The NUTcracker show and all company pieces and future performances . Also, kicked her out her company beginning the next evening Nov 21st. I can understand being charged the $300 dollars If my daughter wanted to quit company, but all of the above looks very personal to me. Someone there also made a treat via email to send my account (1000% on time payments) to collections. what? Email is also attached. To my point, Bully and bark and keep talking and treating people the way you do, The only reason I don't yank my kid out of there is because from something this sad she said to me that she likes her teachers and friends. She will learn soon that when you are a paying client is true that customers are not always right, being a business owner my self, I would never treat someone like that. I told my daughter that this will make her stronger, because if for having a father that wanted to do the right thing and for this company to treat my daughter like that is unacceptable. My understanding is that many parents have pulled there kids out, I want out but my kid at 14 has no idea what a bully is, I do. I will keep supporting my kid no matter what and one last thing, care full if English is not your first language, Some there act like they cant understand you and for some sick sad reason they think is funny. Can you relate ?

They had a troupe of dancers of every experience level there and their dancing incorporates a little burlesque, tribal, belly dancing, jazz/funk and probably almost every other kind of dancing! They used fire, swords, silk sheets and of course all the normal belly dance accouterments that you might know like scarves, coin chains, bindhi's and so on. The dancers all performed wonderfully and were mesmerizing to watch. Oracle and Carolanne were my personal favorites to watch because it seemed like they really got into their routines (not that the others didn't mind you, but these two really seemed to have a knack for moving their hips in just the right way you would think of a belly dancer moving!) They did two "sets" with each set comprised of about 8 different dances with all different dancers circulating between the dance numbers. These ladies truly know how to work a room. Everyone was watching intently, mesmerized you might say, and everyone looked as if they were having a great time. At the end of their show, they let everyone get out in the middle of the room and dance to the music. Oh, and the music was great as well! Some very nice middle eastern themed music for some of the numbers, but they also had some Squirrel Nut Zippers and one song from Godsmack (Voodoo! One of my favorites!) I would highly recommend checking these ladies out when they have another show! They are worth watching!

None of us had ever been before, so we didn't fully know what to expect -- but it ended up being such a memorable Sunday evening. We were able to get the group discount (if you have 15+ guest), and tickets came out to about $57 per person after taxes and fees, which felt reasonable for dinner and a show. We were originally scheduled for January, but had to reschedule due to the two "winter storms" we had -- the process was smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated thanks to Wendy the Group Ticket Rep. We all decided to dress up, which honestly made the experience 10x more fun. If you're planning to going, I highly recommend getting into character. The show was about 1.5 hours long and kept everyone entertained the entire time. Even though our team lost (still a little salty about that ), the energy, cheering, and crowd involvement made it a blast. The food was better than expected! The chicken was surprisingly juicy, and the corn was actually the standout of the meal. Everything was served hot and fresh. Shout out to our Server i believe her name of Melissa or Melanie. She played along with wondering what "utensils" were when I was using them during the meal. Overall, it was such a fun group outing and perfect for celebrations. Definitely a great experience, especially if you've never been before!

Check in was a little chaotic - line was super long even for VIP and it was a little hectic trying to figure out where the heck to go. None the less we got seated and it was amazing. We got front row and had the best time. The bar drinks were weak and low quality liquor so I'd that skip next time. Food was meh but youre honestly there for the experience. There is no silverware but you could ask for it but everything is finger food. Our server Brianna was great. The show was the best part - we had so much fun and we were loud LOL. If you go be sure to get Queens Royalty, get there early, dress up, and sit front row. Bring earplugs if noise bothers you. Also, our blue knight won and we were feral. One recommendation is build in the gratuity within the ticket so people dont have to worry about it.

The website and the fact that they had free kids tickets at Del Taco should've been a sign to me that this wasn't going to be top-notch. But I found a good deal on Goldstar and figured it'd be entertaining enough for a Friday night date night. Cirque Italia was set up in the parking lot of the Gwinnett County fairgrounds, and the tents resembled a small Cirque du Soleil. So far, so good. When we walked into the tent we realized that the "climate control" was just one heating unit in the corner. It was FREEZING inside! I put on my best game face and settled in for the show. The entertainment was so underwhelming I found myself yawning and struggling to stay awake about 20 minutes in. Sure, the performers had talent, but the weird music and choreography was so off-putting. The theatrics were so over the top, it was like watching a terrible soap opera. The clown that performed every 10 minutes in between acts was so, so irritating. I wanted to like this circus so badly, but it was just a train wreck.
