Initial Impression and Installation:…read more Initially, the job by Attic Wrangler looked great, and we were pleased with the attic restoration. We hired them before our baby was born in December 2023, under the impression that the rat problem would be solved before the baby's arrival. However, our satisfaction was short-lived as the rats returned shortly after the work was completed, rendering all the good work useless. This became an ongoing problem for over a year, to the point where Attic Wrangler admitted they didn't know where the rats were coming from and suggested we hire another company. Stress and Health Concerns: This ongoing issue has caused immense stress and health concerns for our family, especially with a newborn in the house. The smell of dead rats became a common occurrence over the course of a year, making our living conditions unbearable. It got so bad that we seriously considered leaving our home and renting somewhere else. The constant rat activity and foul odors significantly impacted our quality of life and peace of mind. Warranty and Lack of Response: Mr. Kellso promised a so-called warranty in the event that the rats did return, assuring us that we would be covered. This promise turned out to be a complete lie, as Mr. Kellso has gone MIA, not responding to any of our communications. Timeline of Major Events and Failures: June 2023: Hired Attic Wrangler to remove rats and restore attic before our baby was born. Despite several visits, the problem was never resolved. July 16, 2023: Reported hearing noises again. Mr. Kellso scheduled a follow-up check. July 21, 2023: Appointment rescheduled last minute due to Mr. Kellso's accident. October 6, 2023: Mr. Kellso missed the scheduled visit, citing a job in San Antonio. October 15, 2023: Notified Mr. Kellso of multiple rats; requested additional traps. November 3, 2023: Continued rat activity. Mr. Kellso was inconsistent with visits. December 2023: Baby born. December 26, 2023: Requested smaller traps due to continuous activity. January 19, 2024: Multiple rats still present; ongoing trap issues. February 11, 2024: Informed Mr. Kellso of foul smell from dead rats; newborn in the house. Mr. Kellso delayed visit until he returned from Minnesota. March 23, 2024: Rats returned after a month of no activity. Mr. Kellso failed to solve the problem. April 27, 2024: Mr. Kellso agreed to visit but requested rescheduling multiple times. May 3, 2024: Rats were still present, traps were missing or ineffective. July 2024: Rats continue to infest our attic, and Mr. Kellso suggested hiring another company. Issues with Service and Attempted Resolution We knew of rat activity because we had multiple cameras surveying the attic. Mr. Kellso did make an effort to try new methods during some visits, but nothing made an impact. He was highly inconsistent with visits and often rescheduled at the last minute. Despite our patience, he failed to solve the rat problem. Moreover, after suggesting we hire another company, Mr. Kellso stopped replying to our texts and phone calls. We attempted to be very reasonable and figure out a compromise by asking Mr. Kellso to refund a portion of his work so that we could apply it towards hiring a new company. We even offered to ensure he would still be paid for a percentage of his efforts. However, we received literally zero response from him. This lack of communication and accountability is infuriating. Conclusion: We are now out $6,000 and back to square one with rats in the attic and soiled insulation. We also need to pay another company to redo the work. This has caused immense stress, especially with a newborn in the house. Attic Wrangler's service was a complete failure, and Mr. Kellso's unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness were unacceptable. If we cannot work things out soon, we will be forced to pursue legal action. I strongly advise against using their services.

A rodent issue opened before us very late on a Saturday evening. We called several pest control…read moreestablishments for quick help, but couldn't. Derryk answered the call at that late hour and gave a couple of helpful suggestions, which were INDEED helpful. He promptly showed up at 5:30 am the next day Sunday morning - impressively well prepared and armed with seals, traps and tools. He identified the source and cause of problem within few minutes. In the following 30-60 minutes, he completed full inspection of house and surroundings, sealed every required spot, cleaned up the "suspect area" and laid traps in places - which proved to be perfect points to catch the "suspects". First traps happened within couple of hours. On calling, Derryk showed up a total of four times after his first visit. Each time, he responded by voice or text and followed it with a home visit to get the traps out in a timely manner. During his last visit, he also provided a couple of spare traps which might be needed in future. Derryk's charges were very reasonable. It was worth paying him the amount for the fantastic job he did. I hope not to have this issue again in our property. But, lo behold - if that happens, I will call Derryk. We asked for, received a few business cards from Derryk, which we passed to neighbors. We would not want our neighbors to have pests, which finally make their way to our property - and vice versa. They did NOT provide the services I paid for, yet they charged me month after month as if they had. When I questioned them, they intentionally lied about what was done -- completely fabricating service visits and misleading me at every step. This is not just incompetence -- this is deliberate fraud. They are running a citywide scam, taking money from customers while failing to deliver on their contracts. Do NOT trust this company. Cancel your contracts, dispute their charges, and warn your neighbors. I am pursuing every legal and public avenue to expose this business and hold them accountable for this blatant theft. I…read morehave tried multiple times to get this company to fix the situation, and I am beyond frustrated and over the entire experience. In an effort to save ANYONE from the headache and waste of hundreds of dollars I am breaking down and sharing my experience. It all started with a squirrel problem. We had a family of squirrels living in our attic, and after the horror stories of the destruction they could cause started coming I decided to call someone to help rid us of the problem. I called one person, and he told me he would quickly take care of the situation - but if I am sensitive to animals, I may not like it. After much searching, I found Pest Management who gave me a detailed plan of how they will humanely catch and release the family. After a thorough inspection, I was told a family was nesting in our attic as well as a "rat infestation" and sold on securing all access points to the house. Against my DIY husband's wishes, I went ahead and went with the full shebang because with it came a full year's warranty. Two months I lived with various men, not just coming in and out of the house, but at random times. I would be given a day / time for trap checks, and they would show up days / hours later. Fortunately I work from home, however my schedule was no longer my own. I would sit in anticipation hoping that maybe something would be caught, given the cages and traps that were placed and checked throughout my attic. After that period of time, everything was sealed off and traps removed. Nothing captured. Not a single rat from this "infestation." Not a single squirrel. A frantic terrorized squirrel fell through the chimney, which we removed ourselves. But that's it. Then the rot hit. So my "humane" pest removal basically was a complete hassle for me, along with trapping the animals in our walls and letting it die and rot. Super humane right? Awesome. I sent a letter to owner and management about my frustration and to see what can be done about the stench of death that had taken over both sides of the duplex. The response was "It really upsets me to hear this!" and the solution was to give me a bag of scent diffuser. Fast Forward several months, and our tenant has some very aggressive rats taking shop next door. (Did I mention they have a new baby? Yeah, kind of a big deal.) My husband reminds me of the big warranty I so beautifully sold to him a few months ago. I begrudgingly call the place, hoping they will finally make good and prove me right in making this decision to hire them in the first place. The person answering the phone was quick and speedy, and made sure someone was there the next day. (Win!) The next day the guy comes, first thing. He sets a couple of mouse traps, tells her there's a hole behind the oven that needs to be fixed, and leaves. Never to be heard from to check the traps or follow up again. That's it? How did they get in at all, considering we paid to secure all access points around the house? Wouldn't he communicate that with me, the customer, to give me the rundown and guide me to solutions? Nope. Nothing. Silence. Being the person of faith that I am, after a week of no word I try once again. (I am stubborn in my resolve). I speak to the sweetest new receptionist on the phone, just trying to understand what it is that my warranty covered. Maybe it's a mistake of mine. Perhaps I just didn't quite understand what I purchased. Again, benefit of the doubt. She tried to get the owner, Sarah (who has already failed on so many occasions when given the chance), on the phone to talk to me. Sarah chose not to speak with me, but to have the tech that came out give me a call back to explain. He'll call within 30 minutes. It's 2 days later, with not a sound. Your time is up. Failure in Service. All Around. Search elsewhere, Yelpers. Save yourself. PS. NOTE: This is a condensed account of everything experienced with this company. It has not included the cigarettes in our driveway, the duplicate $750 charge to my card months after the first charge, mud dragged through my house, etc. The techs are run ragged, my original sales guy is long gone. It's all around bad.
