The workers here are quite racist as I (and a black person) were the only ones who were asked to email the copy of the insurance. My car is a Toyota Yaris iA. The insurance that they had me email entailed that. And yet they put a Scion on my report. I showed them my insurance and a VIN website online and the worker looked at me like I had just come from Mars. She acted so confused and then showed her the symbol. They then proceeded to fix it but something that should have taken 10 minutes took 45 minutes since they decided to make me wait behind a car again. Do not call them, they don't answer. Had to call four times to get someone, and they refused to give an email address so I could request a quote. When they do, they are exceptionally rude and unhelpful. If they can't answer the phone professionally, then why would anyone trust them with their car? read more

Needed a new "emission Inspection" - and after taking my other car to a different inspection station, I wanted to find someplace that wouldn't have a 2 hour wait. Flashpoint was easy to find and it had a bunch of amenities at the location: gas pumps, waiting area in a convenience store so you can get a snack or beverage while you wait, attentive and helpful staff and it took me no longer than the 15 minutes I was quoted when I arrived. I'd like to say this place is popular and for good reason. For anyone else wanting to go, take my mistake as a lesson. I thought it was connected to a gas station and not that the gas station was a part of the oil change/inspection part. I went to what my GPS told me was the entrance and was promptly yelled at where I couldn't understand the man bc the noise was too loud. I asked him to please come to my window so I could hear and he kept yelling. So...when I called, the lady was kind enough to let me know to pull around and park to come inside to sign up. I'm used to Austin drive in/drive up inspections where I stay in the car so this was embarrassing and also frustrating since I felt like I was being spoken to like a child when I was asking for clarification. During my car inspection they said my license plate night light was out, and it needed a new bulb. They asked me for permission to install a new bulb and quoted me a fee for that. I said yes, go ahead and do it. A few minutes later they said I didn't need a new bulb after all -- my existing bulb simply needed to be adjusted to re-establish connection with the socket. So they didn't charge me for the light after all. A lot of auto shops, after already getting permission to charge a customer for something, would've done the unnecessary work anyway and charged for it. These guys were honest enough to not do it, despite having been green-lighted for it. That warranted this post! :) read more

I came here for a vehicle inspection and oil change. DO NOT COME HERE. The filter they put in my car leaked out and completely ruined my engine in my 2015 Honda Accord. I took it to a different auto body shop where they took pictures of the faulty fliter and metal in the oil and said to call Flashpoint to submit a claim through their insurance since I need a new engine. When I called, they were very demeaning and unhelpful and said they will not be helping or providing any insurance information. I will never bring my car back here and highly recommend taking your car literally anywhere else. read more

I was amazed at how quick the entire inspection was from start to finish. I needed an inspection to get my registration renewed. I found flashpoint online and since it was close decided to give them a try. You simply pull up alongside the building and park. Go in to the gas station portion and pay and give them your keys and a copy of your vehicle insurance (apparently you can also email a copy to them). Then, before I had time to sit in one of the folding chairs they have outside in shaded area, my car was done! It was quick, fast, and efficient. i came to this place for inspection they had me waiting for 15 min outside and barley told me i had to check in then after inspection they were messing with the gas cap and ended braking it and then blamed me cuz i tried to put it on and it was already broken and then it wasnt there problem and threatning to call cops to leave and the register girl called my car a broke down bmw. i have a nice 550i bmw and these gas caps are not cheap on foreign cars im so disappointed on the service i got at this place read more
