Well, he told me none of my vents were screened, told me all the covers on my less than year old home were plastic. Fortunately I had my home inspection for my 1-yr warranty the following week so I decided to wait to see what the inspector said so I could have the builder cure anything possible. Absolutely zero evidence of anything having been in my attic, zero entry points. Inspector confirmed the covers on the vents are metal and not plastic and that every single vent is already screened. I'm not sure what the guy from A-Tex saw but I trust my inspector more. Just to be safe I had another estimate from a pest company done and they confirmed what my inspector said. Very disappointed and confused about what feels now like a scare tactic with this company. I've never experienced a critter situation before so I felt trusting but now I know to get a second opinion for stuff like this always. I'm sure they help people but my personal experience will keep me from considering them again in the future.

I'll start by saying that I don't think these are bad or predatory people - the organization is just so wildly incompetent that it baffles the mind. I could go on for so long, but here is bullet point form: 1. Preventative service techs are here for a few minutes and seem to barely do anything. 2. Never get photos, reports, follow ups from service. 3. Tried to schedule rat service, took me calling them several times, and 3 different people to come out to ever get to a contract. 4. First contract was trying to upsell me on 10x the quantity of traps I needed. 5. Second contract did the math wrong and was charging more than the cost of the services - I had to check their math and get them to fix it. 6. Salesperson said she never did rat work. 7. First techs to come out and set traps diagnosed norway rats, said they came through porch. 8. Didn't hear anything for a month. 9. Tech came back, said he was a termite not rat guy, said that they misdiagnosed the rat type, was actually roof rats, and they were vegetarians. 10. Rebaited traps saying the meat traps didn't work cause wrong rat, said he'd come back next week to check and that this followup was all free because they screwed up. 11. New guy came back next week, no idea whats going on, didn't find anything. 12. Was charged for 2 more weeks of service anyway. 13. Called 4-5 times to try to talk to someone about issues. Never ever called back even though they said they would. 14. Was told I had been called back though I had 0 missed calls from the numbers and had saved them as contacts. 15. No one could get me an explanation about why two different species were diagnosed. Said they'd refund me the two weeks of service. 16. Never got refunded, stopped answering me.

This tree service company was hired to remove an oak tree at my house. They have absolutely no…read morerespect for the client's driveway and if they block it or make a mess in it. Upon arriving home, I was unable to park in my own driveway due to them setting up the woodchipper right at the entrance. They had plenty of room to set the truck up without blocking it off and it would have required just a little bit of thinking and courtesy on their part. The sight manager on duty, Joey, didn't seem to care at all at the fact that they had blocked the driveway and were making a mess in it. To top it all off, when they went to "clean up" the work they did, they blew all the dust right smack into my truck. I'd recommend going with someone else that is going to think through the job they have at hand and be respectful of the client's property and driveway as this was just pure lack of care and customer service.
