Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. In short, there is a reason for all of the five star reviews, you will rate him with 5 stars as well when call him for service, I guarantee it!

We hired this company to repair a water leak and replace our water heater. While the leak itself…read morewas eventually fixed and the job did ultimately pass every city inspection, the process took about a month longer than it should have and cost us real time, stress, and lost work -- issues we feel other homeowners should know about before hiring. Work began July 5th with tank removal and drywall demo by Collen S. and his partner. The next day, they repaired the leak by replacing about 6 feet of PEX line, and a subcontractor patched the drywall. About 20 minutes after the patch was done, Collen S. told us the new water heater install was good to go. We specifically asked whether a permit was needed -- for both the leak repair and the water heater install -- and Collen S. and his partner told us twice that day that it wasn't. We requested one anyway. That turned out to matter a great deal. On July 14th, Collen S. gave us only about 30 minutes' notice before the inspector arrived, even though we had asked him to give us a day in advance so we could request time off work to be present. The inspector arrived anyway, and when we asked directly, he confirmed that both the water heater installation and the PEX line replacement had been done without the required permits -- meaning both jobs were effectively illegal until they could be properly permitted and inspected. This flatly contradicted what Collen S. and his partner had told us twice on-site. The next day, we called the company's manager, Steve, and raised three concerns: the contradictory permit information, the last-minute inspection notice, and our request for a different crew going forward. On July 21st, a new tech, Michael, introduced himself, and the City of Eastvale inspected the drywall repair. The city did not approve it and required the wall reopened for a mold check. Michael returned that same day to reopen it. On July 27th, the city inspected inside the wall, confirmed no mold, and approved the space to be patched and the water heater reinstalled. Drywall repatching happened August 3rd, and the final inspection closed everything out August 6th -- roughly a month after the leak repair began. On top of the permit issues, we were also pressured more than once to buy add-on services unrelated to our leak. Collen S. showed us "dirty" pipes at least twice in what felt less like genuine advice and more like an attempt to play on our emotions to drive a commission-based sale of a whole-house filtration system. He also pushed a full home re-pipe on separate occasions -- again, unrelated to what we'd actually called about. To be fair, the leak repair itself was solid, the city inspectors were thorough, and the job ultimately passed every inspection with no mold found. But getting there cost us two additional days off work -- one for the re-inspection that was only necessary because permits weren't pulled correctly from the start, and one for the wall re-closing after the unapproved drywall job had to be reopened -- plus significant back-and-forth to sort out miscommunication that should never have happened. We're hopeful the company will work with us to make this right, since the repairs themselves held up -- it was everything around them that fell short. A crew not knowing (or misrepresenting) basic permit requirements, and using emotional pressure tactics to upsell unrelated services, are things we don't think any customer should have to tolerate -- and we'd encourage this company to address both with its technicians directly. Because of the permit miscommunication that left our repairs technically illegal for over a week, the last-minute inspection scheduling, the repeated upselling pressure, and the extra days off work it all cost us, we cannot recommend this company.

After checking the attic, he also discovered some problematic wiring and conditions involving the subpanel. He recommended running new wiring and replacing a damaged breaker in the attic panel, which would not only fix the problem but provide a much safer setup and help prevent potential hazards like an electrical fire. The price was fair, and the work took about two hours, just as he estimated. He worked diligently the entire time without taking a break. I honestly felt bad for him being up in our attic because it had to be easily 120° up there! I offered him water throughout the job, which he graciously accepted. Fire destroyed our kitchen and dining room, and those rooms needed a full rewire. Our condo was built in the early 70s, and we didn't have circuit diagrams, but the walls were all open. We shopped around getting quotes from 3 well rated local electricians. Austin's Electrical was on the lower side of the quotes; not the lowest, but close. We picked them because they seemed both very competent and also sensible and easy-to-work-with. At first, our water and electric were off and the smoky smell lingered in some items we were still sorting though to salvage. Austin and Manny arrived promptly and behaved extremely professionally even in these odd circumstances. They mapped out the wiring and rewired the rooms together expertly, quickly, with no mistakes. The place I typically stay has no cell service, so my communication is not easy. It was always easy to get in contact with Austin, and he was accommodating about using email or voice calls or text depending on what I had available, and having me contact Manny directly when appropriate. There were 2 subsequent work visits for fixture installations. Prices were always reasonable and decided before work began. Work always began promptly at the agreed upon time and was completed quickly and expertly and on budget. These guys are skillful, honest and professional. Highly recommended. Austin was the only one to answer my call this rainy weekend. I cannot begin to express how much I am scared of electricity ( I was that dumb kid) and I would have taken a bolt of lightning for Austin today. He was literally done in 5 minutes. I was replacing the older switches in my house with decora (paddle) ones and there are a lot of 3 way and 4 way circuits in the house. Well I should have labeled them but didn't (Dummy) me. We are beyond happy with the work Ryan Bennett from RM Bennett Electrical did for us. We had a…read moremajor issue where our downstairs lost power, and after about an hour and a half of thorough investigation, Ryan was able to pinpoint the problem and fix it. That level of dedication and problem-solving really stood out. In addition to that, he replaced all of our outlets, added new ones in newly framed walls, and even installed a very large chandelier that required scaffolding--everything was done with precision and care. Ryan was always on time, professional, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. He's officially our go-to electrician, and we'll absolutely be using him again for future projects (we already have several more chandeliers lined up for him!). One thing that really impressed us--he went above and beyond by bringing in canned lights to demonstrate different Kelvin temperatures because he knew my eyes are sensitive to certain lighting. That level of thoughtfulness is rare. Just as a fair note: he did recommend a drywall person we used, and we weren't completely satisfied with that work--but that is completely separate from Ryan and does not reflect on the quality of his work whatsoever. If you need electrical work done, Ryan is a true professional who takes pride in what he does and goes the extra mile for his customers. Highly recommend!
