We had the driver's and front passenger's windows tinted. Also, they installed heat reflecting film on the windshield. Finally, they installed a subwoofer and power inverter. All jobs were carefully and professionally done. David and Charlie are extremely friendly and helpful. On each occasion they offered cost-saving advice and steered me away from overly expensive / unneeded options. The results are fantastic. They spent time tuning the stereo and existing speakers to match with the new subwoofer. Big improvement over the OEM system. The car is cooler (less heat), but I'm still a nerd. read more

I first went to Austin Window Tint back in 2013 to have a Toyota 4Runner tinted after moving to Texas from Minnesota and realizing the sun is no joke down here. AWT did a perfect job of explaining my options, with outstanding customer service and a perfect job on my windows. When I bought a 2016 F150, I took it back to AWT the same week I bought it because I had such a positive experience the first time. Again, they did not disappoint. My windows look awesome, and just like my past vehicle the tint does an amazing job of blocking out the heat. The guys are friendly, got me in the same day, and knocked out a perfect tint job. Called them up after a tint shop in Buda failed miserably with customer service. Arrived same day I called and they got me fixed up in an hour or so. Tint looks great, guys are really nice. Only complaint is the car was filthy with soap/water but I suppose that's expected with how you tint cars, maybe some effort could be put in for preventing the over-spray on the paint. I went to SunTint for my other car awhile back and they were great but I went to these guys for my new car, to install the stereo and put new tint on and DAMN it looks good and the stereo sounds great. The guys are nice as can be and the work was well done and super competitively priced. A stripped down operation but that's why it's inexpensive. Very impressed with this place! I had made an appointment to get my window tint done yesterday evening and unfortunately was running late while battling Austin traffic. I called to double check I'd still be able to get in and without any hesitation I was assured I would (extremely thankful they were willing to wait). I had to get my front windshield tinted and called Austin Window Tint (based on their 5 star rating) for an estimate. I am immunosuppressed and told Shannon on the phone that I was nervous going into a business during the pandemic. Oh my gosh, I see why they have such high reviews but they deserve 6 stars from me! I showed up for appointment and Shannon was masked, gloved and properly distanced. She offered to arrange for the waiting room to be empty and sanitize it for me in advance but I was going to leave it and come back. An hour later it was done (perfectly) and when I arrived Shannon had wiped down the interior of my car with disinfectant wipes and disinfected the seats and my keys with spray. She manually entered my credit card so that I didn't have to touch anything to pay. How is THAT for thoughtful service above and beyond? The office is clean and cool..and welcoming as are their adorable pups. The price was lower than anywhere I called, but in this case you actually get more than what you pay for. I am happy to give my business to a small local business..but especially one that does such a great job and obviously values their customers. You need windows tinted if you live in Central Texas. I saw this company on my way to work and looked them up, on Yelp, and decided to check out their website. I emailed them with what I was looking for and received an email back from Shannon in a timely manner. The prices were very reasonable so I decided to give them a shot. It was a Friday and my wife and son were out of town so I didn't have anything to do after work and asked if they could get me in that day. Sure enough they were able to get me in. Their office is a cool old school house off of 1st street and setup really nice and comfortable. The tint has now been on my vehicle for several months and I absolutely love it! I'm a car guy and really like my vehicles. I'm a stickler for how they look so that's why I waited to post this review. The tint makes a huge difference in this Texas heat. I'm completely satisfied. I set an appointment with these guys and they were on time and courteous. We went to breakfast and came back, my MINI Cooper was almost done that fast. They put the darkest tint the law allows on all my windows plus a metallic reflective on the sun roof, what a difference! All the windows look fantastic, my air cools the car down very fast now and I love that you can't see into the car, especially when I am out shopping and have bags in the car. With no trunk the tint is important! I took my Mercedes C250 yesterday after work to get the windows tinted. I have to agree with Jason L who reviewed this shop. David is very friendly & professional about what he does. I purchased the certificate from Yelp for $99 for $150 worth and told David about it. He worked with me to apply that certificate on lifetime warranty window tint. He was kind enough to drop me at the bar so I can relax & enjoy a drink meanwhile he is working on my car. (There was no drink & drive involved- :) ) I called around so many shops to get the price but at the same time the reputation about the quality and the workmanship. I believe David's shop beats all other shops I called around. I am in the insurance business & customer service is a big deal for me. David & his shop satisfied all the criteria I had about window tint. I told David that I will be that one of the picky customer & he ensured me that I will be very happy with his work. I did!
