I had recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Prius C and loved everything about it, except that it didn't have tinted windows. This is my first review on Yelp and I signed up to leave this comment. Austin Window Tint installed tint on my new Silverado in July 2013. Recently, the tint film on the passenger side window began to bubble and come off. I called them to see if they could replace it and they did so for no charge. I dropped by the shop and was in and out in less than an hour. They were extremely friendly and professional and I highly recommend their shop if you need tint service in ATX. I found this place by doing a search for window tint in Austin. In reading all the reviews I decided to go down and check the place out for myself. I was greeted and I asked for a price on tinting my car. The gentleman who helped me took the time to explain the different varieties of tint, the color level, heat reduction, etc. then he took me outside to show me what the different tint levels look like when applied to a vehicle. THEN we went over to my car to decide what I wanted where. So A+ for customer service for sure! I retuned later in the afternoon to hear my car tinted. I was quoted two hours, and that's exactly how long the job took. I was walked through how long the tint will take to settle on the windows, and assured that should anything not look right to come back and they will take care of it for me. And my car looks amazing!! I'd recommend these guys all day! I'm already planning on taking my husbands car to be tinted. read more

We got a new Maserati and i was really looking to have a professional job done. I selected a place based primarily on yelp reviews. They did not disappoint. Made an appointment, greeted politely, explained the options and immediately started work. It was done in a couple of hours and has worked out great. No problems. Our windows don't have frames so they automatically go down a little as you open the door. They explained to me that sometimes causes problems after the initial install. They said just bring it back if it happens and they would fix it. However, no problems at all and they look great. I would highly recommend them. read more

Texas is a hot place to live. I decided to drop some dinero on window tint for my '02 Camry. Austin Window Tint had a Yelp deal that looked pretty good. I called and got details. Decided to go with a tint on all windows including a light tint on the windshield (88% light transmission, I believe). The owner went over the options with me. Gave me a demo on the heat rejection. All in all I felt comfortable with his presentation. His assistant was knowledgeable as well. Talked with him about tint, and car care in general, while he gave me a ride so I wouldn't have to wait in the shop. Anyway, they took their time explaining everything before and after. I followed the care instructions to a T. It's been six weeks and the tint cured really nice. No major flaws and very few tiny flaws (probably dust). Visibility is great day and night. Bright days are easier on the eyes. Heat rejection is good - not a miracle cure for 100 degree heat, but definitely helps. I recommend Austin Window Tint. read more
