They completely botched the repair and ended up cracking my windshield that has now grown to go almost across the length of my windshield. Would he have offered a "Sweetheart deal" to me if I were a man? Doubt it. Probably would have treated me with respect rather than being a complete asshole. Five stars for the installer (super nice and professional), but minus two stars for failing to be on time and not communicating about the delay. We were given a time window of 10a-4p with the promise to call when they were on their way (30 min ahead of arrival). By 2p we had not heard from anyone, so we called and were told that the installer had a full schedule that day but would be there within the promised time frame or they would call us back. No call back, and didn't hear from the installer until almost 5p. I understand busy days, but you've got to communicate. Be upfront with your customers and set realistic timeframe expectations. It is unfair to your customers to not give realistic time frames, and it's also unfair to your installers who then get to deal with frustrated customers. You guys can do better here. read more
