Am new to area so depended on Yelp to steer me to good contractors. I needed a new flagstone patio to replace the tiny concrete slab that existed. Miguel was everything I hoped for. First and foremost, he is trustworthy. This is important to me as a 73 year old retired woman. He did what he said he would and did it when he said he would. He also suggested a stairstep approach, which greatly enhanced the eye appeal of the patio and did not add to the price. I contacted two other contractors, and Miguel's price was the best by far. The workman who cut the flagstone was a marvel to watch - such workmanship! After the patio was laid, Miguel came back several weeks later to seal the flagstone, just like he said he would. Miguel responded quickly to initial inquiries. He arrived promptly to our first meeting. He met with us several times to help iron out the details of our outdoor kitchen and fireplace design. He brought over sample materials for us to review. He did all of this before we even signed a contract to work with him. Once we signed the contract to work with him, he and his team were professional, clean, and did great work. Miguel worked with the city inspector to make sure all of our inspections and work were done correctly and approved. He and his team built us a beautiful outdoor kitchen and fireplace. My wife and I needed someone to complete a large multilevel patio and stone planter boxes around a fire ring. Miguel's quote for doing the work was much more reasonable than the other quotes we got. His guys showed up when they said they would and worked 10+ hours a day until the project was complete. His guys also cleaned up their work area at the end of every day, which I greatly appreciate and other contractors seem to ignore on a regular basis. My wife drove my car and ran into the middle pole of our garage door. At the beginning I thought it is not a big task to replace those broken bricks. Miguel and team built a large elevated flagstone patio with limestone walls for us. They are truly artists when it comes to masonry work. We are very happy with the result. Miguel is very reasonable on price and easy to work with. There was a section of flagstone that I didn't like the way it looked and I told Miguel about it. Miguel gave me a reasonable bid and completion date to replace an existing 3' X 100' retaining wall. He commenced and finished the retaining wall on time with no problems during construction. He made a special effort to see that my driveway was clear each night so that I could park my car. He also responded to all of inquiries on a very timely basis. Miguel repaired a stone mailbox for us a couple of months ago for a customer of ours and our customer was very happy with the work and said after the repairs were complete that their mailbox looked better than before.
