First time going into the salon: Easy location to find and a lot of parking available. The girl at the front desk was friendly, helpful and informative about what they had to offer and their prices are comparable to other tanning salons I've been to. I went in just for a single session in their tanning beds, for their level 3 it cost about $34 after tax. Luckily, there was no wait for it. What I really didn't like about the salon was the cleanliness. All though the girl up front cleaned the bed, the room itself was extremely dirty. The floors especially, they're made of what looks like just cement? But they had dirt all over them so you try your hardest not to have your bare feet touch the ground. Other than that the rooms just have the bed, a chair, towel and a trash can. Almost every other salon I've been to has wipes for after your tan, hair ties, tissues, etc. There was no effort put into making it look nice to say the least. For similar prices to other salons, there should be more work put into the aesthetic of the place, especially if you're paying just as much as other salons nearby. However, the bed was great and it gave me a good tan after just one session, but they say it takes about 3-4 usually. If you don't really care about the floors, usual amenities, or the look of a salon then it's fine. read more

This review is for Australian ram in San Ramon only. Change the dang bulbs!! I went in for the first time in over a year and my skin had never seen the sun since the last time I was here... I stayed in the "level 5" bed for the entire 10m and you couldn't even tell. I sunburn EASILY. It turns to tan but I have sensitive skin and after 10m in any other maintained bed, I would hav been red for 2-3 days. What makes it worse, this place is really dirty. The floors especially will turn your wet black. I went out of my way to come here today and I am sincerely sincerely disappointed. Change out the dang bulbs read more

The salon is average, but my biggest problem is that they make you jump through hoops if you want to cancel your membership. I should be able to cancel my membership over the phone or online but they make it difficult for you do this. I wonder why?? read more

Unethical business practices. I don't like giving one stars or bad reviews however I want to make sure other yelpers or customers don't experience what I did. I went in there and was sold on the highest package available (two weeks ago). I paid an enrollment fee since there is no contract . I also paid a prorated amount for the rest of the month (June) and then the following month. I was very clear that I was interested in spray tanning. After I paid for everything. I was told the spray tan machine does not work ! It's been almost two weeks now . Each time I call I am referred to the Livermore location (which is almost 30-40 mins from where I live, not to mention traffic). I don't not understand why they couldn't be honest or transparent with me. I do not recommend this location. If you do want to sign up , ask them if the beds are "working". They will happily charge your credit card and then tell you that the bed is not working. Unethical. Bad business practices . read more

Was visiting the area for the holiday season and my sister and I decided to walk-in and get a tan. Hayley was the associate that helped us and let me start off by saying even though we were masked up I could tell she greeted me with a smile. She was so warm and welcoming and made the process very easy, efficient and I felt very safe given the the current circumstances. Hayley had the answers to all of my questions and was quite lovely to chat with. If you get the chance ask for Hayley!! Let me say that I love going to the San Ramon location. The beds are always clean , staff is super friendly . It can get very busy at times & that is why I chose to leave this review. The last few times I have been in it has been crazy busy! Most clients are kind & wait . A few , not so much . Jackie always seems to smile , acknowledging clients & just keeping calm with a great attitude. I watched her yesterday handle a new client plus more than a few waiting customers while working independently. From cleaning to answering phone also . Jackie makes the experience even more pleasant because of her attitude. She is an awesome example of great customer service . She definitely deserves a 5 star just for that ! read more

Decent place for tanning, but when you sign up they tell you membership cancelations have to be in by the 15th of the month.... they don't mention it's a form you have to fill out and mail in to their corporate office. So be aware your cancellation really probably has to be mailed in almost a whole month before you want to stop getting billed read more

Bought the Yelp deal $20 for $50, went in to get a spray tan which was $35. For some reason, could not save the leftover $15. Oookay. Why have the deal then? Also the spray tan was very slightly blotchy and did not go on as fine of a spray as I expected for someone getting a spray tan for the first time. I have a complexion that tans easily with a yellowly olive undertone so it wasnt too noticeable but it might not be the best for someone going in super pale. By far the worst customer service in the industry on the corporate level. Rude is being too polite. 0 stars should be an option. It took an hour to get signed up only to have problems and calls from corporate. They have specials for new customers but their systems don't allow use of the Yelp deal in combination or any coupon. Make no sense to be unable to use 1 coupon on a promotion when there is nothing about exclusions. Oh and don't even think about refunds, even though there is nothing posted or otherwise in regards to that policy. Staff at this location don't tell you about their full services so you have to guess what they offer. Machines are okay but they don't have the same services at all locations so you have to ask what each location has. Overall I spent more time on the phone with corporate then I did tanning. read more

Well to start, tanning can really make you feel slim and fresh. I would prefer and suggest a airbrush tan over any bed however if you must tan, beds could do the trick! This place is really played out and looks outdated for its location (San Ramon) and beds aren't the most fabulous for its really High prices..... It shouldn't take 6-7 tries to get a "little" color.... Which then means you need to buy more starts and tan 6-7 more times to get the tan. So the beds aren't the best quality from what it seems. read more

For a decent price you can enroll in an unlimited monthly tanning package. The hours of operation are great...9 to 9 I believe so before & after work hours are available. The rooms and beds are clean and you never feel rushed to get in and get out which I have experienced at other tanning salons. Melissa is AWESOME....super friendly and knowledgable! The only con....some of the staff are a little pushy with the promotion of their products. I believe they get their hours based on sales so that may be a factor but it's like how many times are you going to ask me if I like my lotion.....I see you 3 times a week. I just went to get a Versaspa tan after many years of not going. First, I did remember a little bit about the process and asked about it. The girl at the desk didn't help much. FYI Always wash hands and feet afterward! She failed to let me know about this, even though I specifically asked about it. She said oh, you will be fine. Don't get any water anywhere. I don't think she had ever tried a spray tan. I have a dark tan on my hands, feet and one arm. I'm going to a wedding today and I feel bad about this look. I hope they will help me before I have to leave. BTW I recommend a level one to start. 2 is way too much for me, personally. read more

Your typical tanning salon. Gets the job done, but not necessarily the nicest of places. The beds are clean, although the floors are a little questionable sometimes. I've been to places I enjoy a lot more, but in the area, this place gets the job done for a reasonable price. Not many options for tanning lotions. The washing machine/cleaning is in visible sight as you walk to the bathroom, which I find a little weird. The receptionists are usually not up front, and usually only come out when the door dings, which I also find a little annoying/strange. It costs quite a bit each time you want to upgrade, so that is something to keep in mind as you are registering for a membership. This place gets the job done at a reasonable cost, but if there was another place in the area that was around the same price, I would probably head there instead. read more
