I made an appointment for myself and my daughter as a belated Christmas gift. Even though we arrived early, we were greeted kindly and seated right away. The staff was extremely patient and gentle with my daughter, who has medical challenges, and showed her so much care and kindness. Both of our nails turned out beautiful. The shop is very clean, welcoming, and well set up for pedicures. I live in Suisun, but I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

SERVICE: I got a pedicure around 10am on a Monday. It was empty and peaceful, so I highly recommend that time if you can swing it in your schedule. They have multiple levels of pedicures to choose from, and are not aggressive in the upsell, which I was so thankful for. Some nail salons are relentless about it, but this place was great! They offer a complimentary beverage as you enjoy your pedicure. SPACE: Clean, there are 10 pedicure chairs with the massaging backs, can be great for a group! CLEANLINESS: I am HUGE on nail salons sanitation, and this place meets the mark. They line the pedicure bowl with a plastic liner (similar to a large shower cap), and they have the pedicure tools sanitized, in the sealed packs that they crack open upon the start of your service. I got the Organic Pedicure for $60, they have pedicure product sets that they use, so it's a new pack of bath salt, sugar scrub, lotion, etc. read more

I had a little extra time in Napa and decided to treat myself to a mani-pedi. Vivian and Anna took very good care of me. I was long overdue for this and enjoyed my service, which included a foot massage, and some extra bells and whistles. My skin appreciated the extra care and was left so soft! I have been coming here for a year. Today was not a good experience. The salon was understaffed and they have a bee nest in the salon. I AM ALLERGIC TO BEES, THERE WERE 3 THAT ALMOST STUNG ME. I don't know who my stylist was but my friends and I showed up early and had to wait, which is fine but during my appointment i had to wait 15 minutes so they could check someone else out and my nails weren't even painted yet, my stylist switched half way after doing my nails. My usual person wasn't there this time. I am sad because i used to love this salon but this has really changed my experience. Update the salon reached out and I'm going to back to my usual person. As a licensed cosmetologist in C, I received a mani/pedi. The mani was good the pedi was mid. My major complaint would be the way they remove gel polish, they file it off instead of removing it with acetone and a scraper, it's very aggressive to the nail. I would give the salon as a whole a 5/10 for cleanliness. I prefer white towels to be used in this environment over dark towels, just a small nuisance. People were kind and responsive. read more

Wonderful service - took my mother and me same day. She'd never had a manicure or pedicure in her 83 years and she was a little nervous (to say the least) she also needs some special handelong due to her age and memory issues. I've been here several times and been happy with the service so recently booked a pedicure. The attendant was constantly on his phone and answered several phone calls, texted and repeatedly checked his social media during my appointment. Needless to say he was very distracted, did the hot stone massage with one hand stopping frequently. Cell phone use should not be allowed during this kind of appointment...should be a no brainer! read more

Came here twice first time the design came out well, but I was there for 3 hours :( second time i got a mani and a pedi while the lady was doing my pedi i had acetone wrapped on all of my fingers for a full hour...it was busy but it eventually slowed down and I can't seem to understand why someone else couldn't have started on my nails? I was there for 4 hours this time... until 6:30pm, which is 1.5 hours after they closed and so she eventually had to speed it up...but on my design. i pointed out my nail was missing an ombre transition and so she fixed it on one hand and not the other??? she also cut my cuticle too much and made it bled on one of my fingers and one of my toes, and not even an apology after my first visit, two nails broke within the first week and then two more the next week and a half. after my second, this is a week and a half later and one of them broke a few days ago and another is lifting. ive never had anything like this ever happen to me before for some reason. i don't know if it's me, but the experience when I was there wasn't the greatest, but prices are great. I tip 25-30% as well... won't be coming back they do have free drinks tho including alcohol read more

I recently moved to Napa four months ago, and finding a nail salon home has been quite a journey. I wear basic red nails, so I expected it to be easy to find quality service - but it wasn't! After my second visit here, I can confidently say that I absolutely love how neat and clean Helen does my nails. Bella gives the perfect pedicure, and both ladies are incredibly kind, sweet, and accommodating. The owner, Leo, is also very welcoming. And champagne always makes everything better :). One person did the massage and filing and another did the polish awhile later. My cuticles weren't cleaned up at all, which I usually expect. This is the third time I've been here and once again proven that they are worth going to! I don't get my nails done often but since finding them on Nextdoor, I'm hooked. Their polish has lasted longer than any manicure I've had in the past. I work with water daily and wash my hands constantly, their polish holds up. The remodel has done them amazing! We just moved to the area. I tried another nail salon in downtown Napa but I definitely liked Amazing Nail Spa better. The staff is so friendly and even offered me beverages while I got my manicure. I accidentally signed in the wrong place, and instead of politely pointing it out, she spoke to me in a very condescending and aggressive tone, like I was a child. Considering how I had been treated, I chose not to leave a tip. The service cost $10, took about 10 minutes, and the overall experience was unpleasant. That seemed to make her even more upset. She hesitated before handing my card back and looked genuinely shocked that I hadn't tipped. I have never been treated so poorly at any business, especially at a nail salon. Between the rough treatment, the rushed service, the unprofessional behavior, and the rude attitude, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

The pressure remained too light throughout, and I kept hoping it would improve, but it never did. I paid for a 90-minute session and, honestly, I was ready to leave after the first 20 minutes. To top it off, at the end of the massage I was handed a dry towel to wipe the massage oil off myself, which felt unusual and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. The spa itself is beautiful, and the receptionist was warm and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I just wish the massage had matched the quality of the rest of the experience.

This was my first time going to amazing Nails. I was in town and thought I would give them a try before I moved. I will not be going back although the staff was nice and friendly and my pedicure did come out good. My nails are completely uneven. They are lumpy one of my nails is crooked. A lot of them are slanted. I am completely embarrassed to even show my nails. I do work in an office and I am embarrassed to even show them off. As I said, the staff was friendly, very talkative and my pedicure did come out good they are a little pricey for a basic pedicure and adding on gel for an additional $15 I usually do not mind paying extra for gel because I prefer that however, I don't mind paying the additional cost based off the quality of work that is being done. I will not be going back at all. I will probably schedule with somebody different to have my nails fixed. The photos that I seen online and the reviews were good, photos were amazing, which is why I decided to go there and it really has me wondering if some of the photos were done by different nail technicians or if they were pulled from online somewhere. Again, this was my first time going, and my experience could be different from a lot of other people who go there. I just know I will not be a returning customer. read more

I love this nail salon. I always had to use the glue on nails because I am allergic to the acrylic and the gel. My fingers would get painful little bumps and my cuticle would blister and it was so painful. Then Lana introduced me to "dipped" nails. She applies a clear polish and then you dip you nail in a nail powder and shake off the excess. They always turn out fabulous and i haven't had any problems with an allergic action. I've gone back almost a dozen times now without any problems. And everyone there is so nice. When I told my daughter about the "dip", she had to try it herself (she has the same allergic reaction to the acrylic and gel). And she's so happy that she did, that she now drives across town to have hee nails dipped. And because Amazing Nails is open until 7pm, she doesn't have to wait until she has a day off to get a manicure or pedicure. This is the best nail salon in town. I won't go anywhere else. And once you give Amazing Nails and Spa a try, you won't want to go anywhere else either. read more

They are so sweet they over wine and champagne, and soda if you don't drink for free with service. The prices are great 40-60 for a pedi and what type you get. I sat there the whole time relaxing with peace and quiet drinking my champagne not one glass but two. (And they offered. They have tons of colors!!! Massage chairs. There was 2 other girls in there besides me. But still quiet & relaxing. I didn't do the works but I didn't do just a basic pedi. So that should tell you my pedi was pretty relaxing. I'm not a basic pedi. I'm stones the wax, massage, all that. I've had my fair share of nail salons in napa and been going to the same place. And decided to try a new place. read more

After having tried several nail salons in Napa over the last two years, I am delighted to write a glowing review for Lana at Amazing Nails on Jefferson. Every other place I tried pales in comparison to the quality, service level, cleanliness and comfort of this place. The dipping that Lana does for me now on a regular basis is by far the best I have ever had (and coming from L.A. I think that says a lot). Unfortunately for Lana and her salon, the previous owners (under a different name) had terrible reviews and her subsequent ownership may suffer for it. I got a pedicure at Amazing Nails and Spa today, and it was such a great experience! I walked in without an appointment and was helped right away. The atmosphere was really relaxing, and the staff was super attentive. The pedicure was amazing--my first one in months! Leo took his time, paid close attention to detail, and made sure my nails looked and felt perfect. My feet feel so smooth, and I'm really happy with how everything turned out. I had called ahead to make an appointment for a gel acrylic manicure. When I arrived I was early, so the wait was expected. The nail tech did exactly what I wanted and did an excellent job. He listened to me and communicated with me the entire time. The facility was clean. The staff was professional. The atmosphere was cozy. I love the fact that I didn't feel rushed in or out like at other salons. They also didn't try to push an upsell on me for designs or jewels, when I said no the first time. Love, love Amazing Nails. The owner is always very accommodating (even for me, as I'm so picky about my nails), she is always ready to create exactly what I am looking. The work done is amazing and Lana and her staff always welcome me every time I come in, by my name. I was in desperate need for a gel build up re-do and sent an SOS out on Yelp first thing in the morning. Leo responded extremely quick - 5 mins after the request. Was super easy to set up and transparent with prices. I arrived and there was no wait. Store was as clean and well ventilated. I got an excellent gel pedicure at this salon. The pedicure included a relaxing massage and warm towels. They offer complimentary beverages including champagne. On the day I was there they were offering a 20% discount so I got a gel pedicure for $40. The salon is spotlessly clean and very modern looking. Throughout the appointment, she was taking phone calls and talking across the salon to other people while working on my nails. And she was talking so kindly to them in the switch up when she would talk to me was insane. It made the experience feel very unprofessional. She also seemed irritated that I wasn't paying with cash. When I told her I was using a card, she rolled her eyes. I didn't realize she expected me to use my physical card, since most businesses now accept Apple Pay, she sighed heavily in annoyance. After she handed me the receipt to sign. I accidentally signed in the wrong place, and instead of politely pointing it out, she spoke to me in a very condescending and aggressive tone, like I was a child. Considering how I had been treated, I chose not to leave a tip. The service cost $10, took about 10 minutes, and the overall experience was unpleasant. That seemed to make her even more upset. She hesitated before handing my card back and looked genuinely shocked that I hadn't tipped. I have never been treated so poorly at any business, especially at a nail salon. Between the rough treatment, the rushed service, the unprofessional behavior, and the rude attitude, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

I took a chance on visiting Stephanie's in-home studio: not something I had ever done before--and I am really glad I did. This review is for her pedicure services. First, the great things. Stephanie is devoted to impeccable, beautiful work. She is gifted in her handling of difficult cuticles and hard to trim nails, and she treats your feet gently while doing a fabulous job of getting them into tip-top shape. I have a lot of sensitivity and lean toward ingrown nails, and Stephanie's exceptional work prevents any issues from developing. Her artistry and care with color application and design are also exceptional. I bring in an image of a pedicure design I want, and she has been able to execute it every time. When I had gone to other nail artists, I sometimes got sloppy work or an image that hardly resembled what I was looking for. Stephanie works hard to provide what you are looking for. Even better, my nails are in great shape for at least a month--and I don't do gel polish because I don't like how toxic it can be. Every time I go to Stephanie, I know that I will get a really high quality pedicure that will make me happy to look at all month long. Now for some qualifiers. Though these things don't bother me, they might be of concern to some people. Stephanie runs her business out of her apartment in East Napa right off Soscol. She only books one client at a time, so it is very personalized and timely; however, she has small children who are sometimes present and watching TV in a nearby space. Also, something that I personally like but some people may not is that Stephanie is extremely focused on her work and doesn't make much conversation beyond some initial greetings. I like having some peaceful, quiet time while my nails are being done, but for those who go for the social aspects of this service, this may not be the best fit. I will also say that Stephanie books through Gloss Genius, an online booking tool. You don't get a confirmation right away but usually within a few hours. I don't mind the slight delay because 1. I've never had my booking declined and 2. I've never had Stephanie cancel on me once I got a booking confirmation. However, for those folks who want to reserve by phone or want an instant response, this may be an annoyance. I do find that her open times on Gloss Genius have always been accurate. As a note, her prices are comparable to in a shop. For myself, as long as Stephanie continues to work in Napa, I will not go to anyone else. In addition to being highly competent, skilled, and just plan delivering an exceptional product and service, Stephanie is also a very sweet person. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
