It had that subtle jerk-style kick that made every bite even more desirable. The cabbage was well cooked, the rice and peas were flavorful, and the plantains were a solid addition to the meal. The portion size was excellent, especially for the price, making the value stand out even more. Customer service was also excellent, which always adds to the experience. For a mall location, this spot really impressed, but honestly, the food is good enough that it deserves a full storefront of its own. If you want a taste that feels much closer to the islands without leaving the U.S., Little Jamaica is definitely worth the stop. Here is a shorter Yelp-style version too: Little Jamaica has some of the closest flavors to Barbados I have found on this side of the U.S. The curry goat was tender, flavorful, and had a nice jerk-style kick that made it even more appealing. The cabbage, rice and peas, and plantains were all very good. Portion size was great, pricing was solid, and the customer service was excellent. For being in the mall, this place really stands out. Honestly, the food is good enough that it deserves its own storefront.

This place has a warm and inviting feel, that makes it feel like home. Since I was little indecisive on what to opt for, I decided on two entrees. This included the jerk chicken Alfredo & the Catfish and grits. Immediately, I noticed how large the portions are (which is a plus). As it relates to both entrees, the catfish and grits was pretty decent. In my honest opinion the star was the perfectly seasoned and crisp fish (grits were ok) but, I would definitely order again. The jerk chicken Alfredo was quite tasty. It was perfectly seasoned and jammed packed with flavor. (I would only suggest an extra side of Alfredo, as I love a creamy Alfredo pasta. ) Not pictured, I ordered the Berry Me & Jolly Rancher juice. These were a much better and exclusive option instead of a traditional punch packed with sugar. All in all, I would definitely revisit Trap Fusion again.

I haven't had Columbian food before so I knew I wanted to check this place out when we were in the area. I am not familiar with Columbian food so I wasn't sure what to try that was authentic to the culture. I went with empanadas and hubby got a chicken and rice dish. The empanadas were ok but not much flavor. The guac was good but didn't come with any chips to eat it with. The Horchata was good but stronger than I was used to. I didn't realize what I get is usually more watered down. Hubby's chicken and rice tasted like it would anywhere else. I wouldn't mind coming back but I'd def want to know what to try that's more authentic. The service is good but I feel bad for the waitress whose job it is to tell everyone not to park in front. We thought it was a sign like saying only customers could park there but instead it was actually the owners parking spot. We were really confused because we have never seen a spot dedicated to the owners. It was weird. Also they automatically added gratuity even though it was just the two of us.
