After waiting for a couple of hours, the manager, Chris, said he couldn't do the transmission change because he didn't have the right tools. Why didn't he say that in the first place? When I went to confront him he knew what's coming and picked up his phone and started texting. I asked him if he's the manager and he said yes but kept playing with the phone. I could tell from his face he's trying to come up with an excuse so I let him figure it out and waited patiently. After (literally) 5 minutes, he spoke to me and said he didn't know what type of transmission it had. I asked him if he couldn't simply look it up online and he said it's not as easy as that. When I asked him once he found he couldn't do the transmission why he proceeded with other jobs, he didn't have the answer. It would have been much simpler for me to take the car to a place where they do everything rather than going to different places. The business practice and the customer service in this place leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't go back to this place again. These guys give honest mechanics a bad name.

Since I do not drive this car often, I am not always aware of any issues unless she informs me. I purchased four tires from this location, and approximately one week later, I drove the car and discovered that the steering wheel was not properly aligned. It was surprising that my wife had not noticed this issue. I returned to the location, where I was informed that they had only performed wheel balancing, not an alignment. I accepted responsibility and requested that they complete the alignment. A few days later, my daughter was preparing to drive the car and noticed that one of the hubcaps was missing. I contacted the location to inquire whether they had it, but they stated that they did not. As a result, I ordered a replacement from the dealer. Make sure you check your car carefully once you get it back. About a month later, after driving approximately 800 miles since the tire replacement, I took the car to the dealer for service. The dealer informed me that the front left tire had developed a bulge on the sidewall and needed to be replaced. I returned to the tire shop and explained the issue to the employee at the counter. However, he did not come outside to inspect the problem and instead said that I did not purchase warranty and that I needed to contact the manufacturer. When I asked who the manufacturer was, he told me to look it up online. Because I had purchased a non-branded tire, it was difficult to determine the manufacturer. When I eventually contacted the manufacturer (Sailun Chinese garbage), I was informed that the tire shop would need to conduct a warranty evaluation and that there was nothing further they could do directly. In retrospect, I made a mistake by not going to a more reputable provider, such as Costco or a Goodyear tire shop. I did not choose Costco initially because they did not have the required tire size in stock, and I would have had to wait 7-10 days. Given that this situation occurred shortly after a major snowstorm, waiting was not a safe or practical option, as I believed it would have been dangerous to continue driving under those conditions. I would recommend going with Costco and avoiding the garbage Chinese tire Mavis sales or Mavis in general.
