I paid to be there, and they received $3,000 for my enrollment. Don't fall for the "Be grateful" line; Claire Matrix you have have failed me. I believe these rehabs exploit the challenges of alcohol and drug addiction. However, there is hope, and it's free. I recommend reading the Big Book of AA and focusing on helping others! The overall company was trying to get the most money out of my insurance as possible. I started off in the sober living facility and during Christmas time, I had covid over winter and had to take NyQuil and that was the first excuse for forcing me back into a rehab program that was not needed. My reason for being in the program in the first place was that I had 18 back to back surgeries over the past 4 years and was on opioids for a long period of time so this was a way to detox in a safe environment. There was no psychological addiction, just physical dependence to opioids. They lied about multiple addictions to medication(amphetamine addiction) that I was prescribed since childhood and used it to get more money through insurance. They also lied about an alcohol addiction, when I am medically intolerant to alcohol. When I got back to the sober living after this time I was talked about poorly among staff members and called "attention seeking" for asking for a few days off in order to visit 2 dying family members. Eventually someone in the group had consumed alcohol and told the staff which upset another client due to the unfairness and favoritism. This upset client gave me alcohol without my knowledge or consent and afterwards told the staff that I was drunk. This other client had been upset and doing things like this for 2 weeks prior to this incident. I believe he did this in order to prove a point that they will send people they dislike or with good insurance back to rehab in order to get more money. This client later confessed to me he had put alcohol in my drink without my consent and I had a reaction to the alcohol and was placed back into the rehab facility. I was put on addictive barbiturates and unnecessary medications for 2 days before my insurance denied coverage due to fraudulent services. The alcohol level was so low that there was no logical reason I needed to be there. I was then abandoned as a patient had had to find a new place to live in 2 hours or I was out on the street. Remember it's just a business. They don't actually care about you. They left another 2 of my friends on their own where one eventually fell into a coma following her abandonment. Something else they did was contact my pharmacy and told them never to fill any of my prescriptions ever from any doctor. I was no longer under their care at all. I'm a disabled person and this made it very difficult to obtain medication that I needed. This is a HIPPA violation for sure.

The nutrition needs were met with quality food prepared at a high-level that taught me to appreciate good food, and fostered a desire to continue feeding my body, and respecting my body by limiting processed foods and high sugar items that only serve to retrigger the reward pathway. The next most important reason I chose 1Method was for their commitment to an exercise program that was built into the weekly schedule that included the guidance of a professional trainer who worked with me to build new habits that have stayed with me. I have stayed sober since August 25 of 2019 . I am grateful to live at the beach where I ride my bike every day and prepare healthy, real foods for myself and my family, because those things helped me build new habits that were foundational to my long term success. I will complete my bachelors degree in December of this year and plan to enter the graduate program in January. It's never too late to make a new start and transform your life.

I discharged from Clearview Treatment Center's Dual Diagnosis program on 10/10/2025. The experience…read morewas difficult but ultimately helpful--I needed stabilization after a month-long marijuana relapse and acute depression. Therapist-led groups were supportive, though tech-led groups were less effective. I learned a lot about advocating for myself, which I had to do often. My first month was marked by severe marijuana withdrawal: intense emotional swings, dysphoria, anger, sleep problems, nausea, and digestive issues. Staff and the nurse practitioner never acknowledged that I was in withdrawal, which made the experience much more distressing. During one crisis week, despite expressing suicidal ideation, I received minimal support outside a brief therapist session. I requested non-12 Step recovery meetings due to trauma, and while initially approved, chronic understaffing meant I was required to attend 12 Step meetings with the group. The required 1:6 staffing ratio was rarely met. This left high-needs clients without proper supervision, and at times clients were informally monitoring someone who clearly needed a higher level of care. Case management was also strained. Only one case manager served all five houses, leading to repeated paperwork delays and mistakes. Limited phone access made managing essential tasks difficult without more support. Accessibility was another issue. I disclosed mobility limitations before admission, but the facility had far more stairs than described, including at off-site meetings. Only after persistent advocacy were accessible options provided near the end of my stay. Food was challenging as a diabetic. Meals were often too carb-heavy, breakfast options were minimal, and the only accommodation offered was frozen frittatas. I ultimately purchased my own food. Overall, Clearview provided some meaningful therapeutic support, but significant issues with staffing, accessibility, crisis response, withdrawal education, and individualized needs remain. I stabilized largely because of my prior long-term sobriety, but I worry about clients newer to recovery who received far less support.

(We wouldn't know what to do without my brother) While my friend and I were trying to help find a place for my brother, Debbie was trying to help even though we didn't think he had the correct insurance for Transformations Care. Debbie helped my friend for countless hours and eventually they were able to figure out insurance to get my brother to Transformations. The fact that she was helping my friend even though we didn't think we could get my brother to Transformations, truly shows that this place has the best of intentions. Debbie wants to help people in need get to the road to recovery! She made the road to recovery so much easier than it could have been. She made my brother feel welcome, normal, and loved. Debbie reassured me and my family consistently by sending us photos of her and my brother. Recovery is hard - Debbie made it easier for him and I am forever grateful. I was referred to TCI and knew I needed to go, but didn't want to go. That all changed once I got there. TCI changed my life and forced me to look in a mirror and get comfortable with being uncomfortable and face the parts of me that have been anchoring me from true freedom and inner peace. The program they run is rigourous and caused some serious brain pain, but I was able to break through parts of me that have I've been hiding for most of my life. Each person has their own style of doing things and contributed different things that I needed to receive while I was there, and to me, it was the perfect staff. From crying, to laughing, to being vulnerable and feeling comfortable enough to dig deep and share things with perfect strangers that I've never shared with anyone else; I've never felt more safe, heard, and just allowed to be myself without judgement. Instead I was met with compassion, understanding, and comfort. I don't trust people easily, and I trust every person at TCI with my life, because they not only changed my life, they saved my life. If I name one person in this review, I'm going to have to name all of them (that's a long list), but I was able to go home with the tools I know will help me manage my recovery on a daily basis, and because of that, my fears have lost power over me. I'm eternally grateful to each and every staff member at TCI. Thank you for your kindness, love and care (and for the brain pain experienced from being forced to be honest with myself). I am eternally grateful. This is the place to go if you want to experience true freedom from self. When I feel some sort of way, all I have to do is remember the advice and suggestions and feedback I received during my time at TCI, and I know there's hope that I will be ok.
