This is hands down the best place to go for auto repairs, diagnostics, and oil changes. I always take my car here even though I'm now 4 hours away. The first time I came here I had just graduated high school and frankly wasn't thrilled to get an oil change because I was nervous about going in and getting the it's a woman look she must not know anything. I NEVER had that happen here. They treat you like family. Ace was great even offered my friend and I pizza and pop as they had just gotten lunch delivered. Fast forward about a year I had brake issues. They looked at the car and figured out the issue the rate was very reasonable and once I saw the breakdown they barley charged for labor at all. Really wanted to leave a 5 star review but I'm pretty dissatisfied. The front desk customer service guy Ace is very friendly and helpful. One of the workers Doug put a new headliner in my car and tinted my tail lights and did a amazing job. He was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks Doug! However, my issue is with management. They had the parts to install new headlights and bulbs on my car for over 2 weeks and it just sat there untouched in there lot. I was not a priority to them, there #1 priority are custom jobs for specialized vans for a commercial company. They had a " we'll get to it when we get to it" mentality with my car. They removed my car stereo so that it wasn't stolen from the parking lot and when they put it back in only 1 of my 8 speakers worked. They said they would need to charge me to even look at it. My stereo was working great before they touched it. The manager/owner refused to speak to me. Very unprofessional. The job they did on the headlights was very sloppy, loose wires hanging everywhere, with the wiring harness flopping around. I have flickering in my headlights (although I can't blame them for the flickering) I certainly won't be back to have them look at it. Lastly, I had coilovers put in and one is extremely noisy and sqweeky, charged me to look at it but not fix it. They also did an alignment on my car after I told them it pulls to the right, and of course charged me, yet didn't fix the problem. Lets start from the begging. I have a minivan that i use for my business, which had and still has an overheating problem still today. It is a company van that my manger used to move employees from one location to another. my manager lives in westland and or shop is in lansing. So i took it to there shop out of pure convience (its close to an employee's home), and they told me i needed a new radiator. Now this van is probably worth $2500 tops in good working condition, but knowing that it needs a radiator means that i wont get anything but scrap out of it if i sell it. so i bit the bullet and paid just shy of a $1000 to get it fxed. after about 40-5 days the work was done and i had my manager go to pick up the van. He got about 45 minutes from there shop and the van started overheating again. i called the shop and they aggreed to come pick it up and did it free of charge. things arent going well at this point but they at least did not charge me to pick the van up. after it siitng there for 2 -3 days they told me that nothing was wrong and that the van is fine. so i send my guy to pick up the van and again it overheats AGAIN! Im irrate to say the least! the owner was on vacation and never seems to be at the shop when i call. the managers tell me i have to take it up with him. I went and bought another van by this point because this sitting was only costing me money and time. I talked to the owner and they calimed that the van need head gaskets now for an additional $600. I might break my keyboared while i type this because this van was not worth a grand total of a $1600 repair to begin with. i told the owner that and if it was that much i never would have got it fixed, i would have cut my losses. We agreed after me having to be an unbelivable jerk that we would split the cost and he would charge me $300 instead of the full 600, even though i still dont think that i needed a raiator to begin with. it sat there for about 1 week this time and we finally recieved word that it was done. I sent an employee to go get and bring it back to lansing where i was goin to sell it and be done, but things could only go so well. SAME PROBLEM AGAIN. the van overheated about 15 minutes from there shop and i have people sitting to go pick up yet again. Im so pissed, the van is back at there shop and i called cursing out the manager. Im not oppsed to paying for anything but im taking them to court if they charge me at this point. im out $1300 for a van that runs no better than when i tookl it to there shop in the first place. bottom line if you have somthing major to be done dont take your viechle here they will sell you all kinds of shit you dont need and in my case $1300 worth and probably wont make things right at this point.
