Issue with my s650 dark horse spoiler, has started to flex in the middle lip when cold, tried to reach out to them no response

Look at right side tilted up instead of straight.

Auto Addict screwed me out of $1300. This company has problems. It's easy to talk to someone when you want to order something, but after that, good luck. They also have integrity issues. I ordered a custom Z06 style spoiler for my Corvette. It looked good in the pictures they posted just taking a quick glance. When I received it 2 weeks after they promised it would arrive, I discovered the paint job had a few blemishes and scratches. I decided I could fix this myself versus returning a large item like this. I installed the spoiler. When I finished installation, I noticed that the right side was tilted more than the left side. Something only car enthusiast would definitely notice. I talked to Moe, the sales manager, who finally agreed that it was a manufacturing problem. He stated that he had to work with the manufacturer to fix it, but he would get it fixed and send me another one. He had me file a claim with their insurer stating it was damaged in shipping. They paid him to ship another one. Another few weeks went by before I was able to finally reach him. He stated that the manufacturer agreed to fix it, but he could not send me another one until he sold the other 250 units he had in stock. He basically told me he was going to sell the other 250 units that he knew was defective before he could place another order with the fixed spoilers. This is a big problem with integrity, and it's fraud. After 2 more months, he sent me pictures of the supposedly fixed spoilers. He had measurements of part of the area that was off, but only part of the area. It looked okay in the pictures. It was better, but still off, so I accepted the order based on the pictures. Got it installed and it was still obviously off, just not as bad. In the pic, look at how the winglet on the right is tilted higher than the left side. Can no longer reached him. Emails go unanswered. The clerks that answer the phones keep telling me he is unavailable and he will call back. By the way, they all seem let you're bothering them when you call, kind of rude, not professional. Anyhow, I guess it's time to take them to small claims court. It seems that will be the only way I'll get my money back.

They were hosting a Car and Coffee event today in Anaheim, Ca. Excellent staff, they were all very wand welcoming. Cool atmosphere, no burning rubber, no 2-stepping, no revving the engines. It was a nice time enjoying the amazing builds on those cars. Crazy!!! Lol It was a good time! Coffee was outstanding! Thank you!

I recently bought some parts from Auto Addict. Their parts are top notch and high quality. They sell quality aftermarket parts for all types of muscle and sport cars. So far I have bought their umbra LED taillights and a custom fiber steering wheel for my 6th gen camaro. I'm so happy with my taillights and custom steering wheel! I get so many compliments everywhere I go! Drea helped me spec out my custom fiber steering wheel and did an amazing job! Great customer service and high quality parts from the team at Auto Addict!

Coming to EMD Auto is about as easy as taking a walk in the park. Quick, relaxed, straightforward,…read moreand you leave satisfied. No unnecessary headaches, no sitting around wondering when someone is finally going to pull your car in. This is our second time bringing our 2025 Audi RS3 to EMD for maintenance, and both experiences have been great. Both times we've worked with Thomas, and he's genuinely one of the reasons coming here is so easy. He's down to earth, easy to talk to, and scheduling is always a breeze. You do have to call to make an appointment, but I actually prefer it this way because when you arrive and check in, they're ready for you. They pulled our car in almost immediately. No appointment at 9:00 just to watch your car sit outside until 9:30 like you sometimes experience at a dealership. Parking is another small thing that makes a difference. There's plenty of space, so you're not circling a packed dealership lot or squeezing between cars just to drop yours off. What I really like about EMD is that they're not limited to basic maintenance and repairs. Yes, you can bring your car here for regular service, but the exciting part is the modifications. Intake, intercooler, downpipe, exhaust installs, Stage 2 setups and more. This is definitely a place for enthusiasts, but you don't need to be a car expert to come here. That's where Thomas really stands out. You can tell him what you're trying to accomplish with the car and he'll take the time to explain the different options, what you actually need, what makes sense for your goals, and what doesn't. There's no attitude or expectation that you should already know everything because you own a performance car. Ask questions and he'll explain it. That is especially important to us with an RS3 because once you start modifying these cars, one change can lead into another. It's nice being able to have an actual conversation about what you're trying to accomplish instead of feeling like someone is just trying to sell you the next expensive part. The waiting area is also surprisingly comfortable. It's clean, open, and has plenty of room to sit. There's a TV, comfortable chairs, and most importantly when Southern California decides to cook everyone outside, it's nice and cool inside. You can actually relax while you wait instead of feeling like you're sitting in the corner of a repair shop. Then there's the pricing. Compared with what we're used to seeing at dealerships, EMD's prices are significantly more reasonable. More importantly, you don't get that feeling that you're about to receive a list of mysterious "recommended services" and random charges you weren't expecting. Bring the car in for what it needs, talk through the work, get it done, and move on with your day. For anyone with an Audi or VW, especially someone who has a performance model or plans on modifying it, EMD is absolutely worth knowing about. We're particular about who touches our RS3, and after two visits, we've had a consistently good experience here. We'll definitely continue bringing the RS3 back for maintenance, and knowing they can also handle the fun stuff makes that decision even easier. Now the only dangerous part is coming in for maintenance and leaving with ideas for the next modification.

The photos show the lazy job I had received. I take full…read moreaccountability for not replying when I first said I would. However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.

Project Import is one of those rare shops. What separates them isn't just the quality of the work, it's the level of thought that goes into every decision. They don't just ask what problem you're trying to solve today; they ask where you want the car to be years from now and build accordingly. Every recommendation is made with the long-term goal in mind. I've brought them some complicated issues on my 1JZ-swapped E30, and at every step they've been realistic, honest, and incredibly meticulous. If something needs attention, they'll tell you. If something doesn't need to be replaced, they'll tell you that too. No upselling, no shortcuts, no guessing. Just real diagnostics and real solutions. What I appreciate most is that they refuse to take the easy route if it's not the right route. A lot of shops will get a car out the door as quickly as possible. Project Import takes the time to do things properly the first time. In the long run, that actually makes their work a bargain because you're not paying another shop to redo it six months later. Their fabrication, attention to detail, and workmanship are top-notch, but honestly the biggest value is the trust. When they tell me something, I believe it. When they recommend a path forward, I know it's because it's the best solution for the car, not because it's the most profitable solution for them. At this point, I won't take my cars anywhere else. If you're looking for a shop that's honest, highly skilled, forward-thinking, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way, Project Import has earned my highest recommendation.
