I went in there looking for a light replacement and asked the associate if the item I had in hand from my car was the same one as I had picked up from the store as I was ready to checkout. There was no one that he needed to tend to but still rudely answered obviously not. He had horrible attitude over a simple question. I bought an O2 sensor online and picked it up at another Autozone. When I was given the part, the box wasn't in good condition. It didn't bother me as I needed the part at that moment. It turns out I didn't need the part after all so I never used it and decided to return it. I read Autozone's return policy online that I can return any product at any autozone location as long as I have the receipt and item is in it's original condition and packaging. I decided to come to this one since it's closer to where I live. When I arrive and informed the employee who I believe was the manager that I wanted to return the product, the employee refused to give me a refund because of the condition of the packaging. He didn't believe that's how it was given to me. When I informed him that yeah it was how it was given to me, he then told me to go to that specific autozone and get my refund. Since the employee wasn't there he didn't believe me. So rather than fight it, I went to the other autozone and the employee there gave me my refund. The employee checked the box and part and just asked me if the product didn't work. That's all. I got my refund. The employee at this location is definitely on a power trip. Never coming back again despite it being only 2 minutes from my house. Felt disrespected for the employee not believing me. Employee was a male in his 40s with black hair. slick back. Seems to be the manager because the other employees were young. read more

A bunch of lazy workers who don't want to do their job. Two people in line saying they're busy and can't help change a battery.

Came in to purchase headlights. Guy at the counter gave me what his system recommended for the car. Took them home, opened them up and they were no where near what I needed. Came to return them (about a 2 weeks later), they told me I could not return them and proceeded to patronize me about why I opened them and why I didn't check before hand. I was like "that's why I came to you so you can check for me". Anyway the lights were literally unused and they tried to offer me a gift card. They even went so far as to say that my emailed receipt "didn't look like what they send". Ultimately after arguing they ended up refunding me. This place is a joke. Never again. read more

I've been ordering online and picking up my parts from here. Online it tells you to wait for a email before picking up your parts. I've never received a email, I've went in the next day and each time the counter person went and picked the parts out. I've found the employees to know what they are doing. My friend's car was stuck in Auto zone's parking lot for over an hour. He needed a new battery that they had in stock, but the worker's there said they were too busy to go look for it in the back. My friend was insistent that his car wasn't starting up and he really needed the battery (and that he'd even install it himself), but they said they were understaffed and could not check it in the back for him. I drove from a different city to go help jump start my friend's car right in front of Auto Zone. At this point he was reaching two hours in front of the store and they still refused to help him. I know many places are understaffed and struggling right now, but not one person there offered him help when he was having a car emergency. If you need any car parts, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. read more

The worst customer service experience ever. I showed up at 9:54pm on a Monday night. The store was completely empty (they can check the cameras). As I approached the counter, I noticed that the employee, Daniel at the counter, was talking on the phone with his mom (taking a personal call). Once he got off the call, he didn't greet me, but either way I proceeded to ask if he could check my battery. He said "I can't, we're about to close." Mind you they close at 11pm. I said, "don't you close at 11?" Then he said "yes, but I can't leave the front desk, there are two of us only, and we need to get the store ready for closing." I said "are you serious?" I thought it was a joke. ‍ Again there was no one in the store!!! I think it's blatant laziness and excuses and Daniel was very rude and unprofessional. Never coming back here again. It's really irritating that we were left having to drive further when this store is 5 min away from our house. We ended up having to go to a location further away, because Daniel was too busy manning the front desk helping Casper the friendly ghost. INSANE read more

The lady with the blonde hair I think she's a manager I'm not sure but she does wear a grey shirt .. well more to the story is that I went in to auto zone to buy some break pads & my total was $106.55 , so I gave her a 100$ bill along with a 10$ bill so the total was 110$ that I gave her .. SHE HAS THE AUDACITY TO SAY WE DONT ACCEPT THAT KIND OF CURRENCY & I WAS LIKE WHY? & she said we have the right to not accept any money from anyone .. so my first thought was that she was thinking it was a fake 100$ bill which it WAS NOT I told her to please call the police but she didn't want too & she insisted I leave from the store & she didn't let me buy my breaks .. I went to the other auto zone off Lincoln & they took my 100$ bill with no questions ask .. of course they marked it with a pen to see if it was fake but other than that my money is 100% real . THIS LOCATION NEEDS BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE & A NEW MANAGER BECAUSE THAT LITTLE GIRL WITH THE BLONDE HAIR ( I only say blonde hair because she didn't want to give me her name ) SHE ISNT FOR THIS JOB . Honestly, if I could give no stars and write a review I would because one star is too high for this place. This location was the most unprofessional and had some of the rudest staff I have encountered. I know I don't know a lot about cars, but I know enough to know that I was being conned. I had purchased a battery online for pickup but when I got it home and installed the battery, the car still wouldn't start. I eventually had to take the car to the shop and they informed me that the battery I had been sold was defective and needed to be replaced. I bought a battery elsewhere & tried to return the defective battery to Auto zone. Christian (the apparent manager) asked why I wanted to return it. When I told him it was bad and I purchased a battery elsewhere, he proceeded to tell me "well you shouldn't have done that. Your warranty isn't good anymore." Mind you it has been less than a month since it was purchased. When I asked what I should do with the battery, he told me the best he could do was store credit. Another staff member (Naomi) came over and said "you can't give credit or return, it's been blocked." No explanation or anything, so when I asked what I should do with a battery, they all said condescendingly: "well I don't know, but we can't help you." So of course I had no choice & was directed to call the regional manager, Sofia. She informed me that they were supposed to give me a form that lets me know why my return was being blocked, and a corporate number to call, which neither Naomi or Christian did before I left. Sofia said if I returned to the store and asked for Naomi that she would give a full refund. When I went back and asked for Naomi, she had someone else help me because she was in the back "busy". So, if anything needs to learned from this post, it's that you should expect terrible customer service. And unless you like being spoken down to, I would advise you to avoid this location. read more

I walked in to get a scan test which went well. While I was there I remembered that I needed headlights. Ricardo and the store manager named Jose, helped me out and even went the extra mile to help me replace them in my 2004 Mazda3. Very courteous and helpful employees at this location. Mind you, they were doing this while there was a very long line of customers and they managed to help and give them the same genuine customer service that they showed me. read more

This review is related to their Oil recycling setup. Took some oil here to be recycled and their setup is very messy & unorganized. Not sure if this is per CA regulations, but wanted to let others know. Be careful if they tell you to drop off oil in the back as you can get lost. read more

I went inside to buy a new battery and a brand new portable jump starter for my car. I'm a registered nurse and was on my way to work at the hospital when my car wouldn't start and I had to get AAA to jump start my car in order to make it to an Auto Zone. Due to the coronavirus pandemic scare going around, they were unwilling to help me install the battery into my car so I can get to work to care for the sick! I work in ER and just needed help getting the battery installed in my car so I can go to do my job and help save lives.. Very disappointed in the management. I just hope that his family isn't affected by this issue one these days. The nurses that are dedicated to helping your families that you refuse to help won't be able to help your family members when the time comes. read more

Came here on 08/16/20 (before closing) and paid 59.99 for an A/C Pro Extreme Conditions Kit CA. Promo included a $20.00 gift card. I asked the employee questions about how it works and how would I receive my gift card. I was never informed I had to claim the gift card through mail or over the phone so I waited over a month. I was only able to claim the rebate about a week after I purchased the item. Management talk to your employees. Misinformation like this shouldn't be happening and hopefully this has only happened to me. Other than that employees sincerely seemed to want to help me out so I'm giving 2 stars. This has been my local go to place for auto parts over the last 14ish years after Tops my fav moved way way across town. I have racked up some serious parts buying here. Purchased at least a dozen batteries (truck takes 2 and boat takes 3!), 80+ gallons of oil, countless parts and pieces for my vehicles over the years. The customer service is great! Because these guys at Autozone keep all your car/truck(s) info on their computers and can easily help you with your needs. Don't go out and overspend your hard earned cash foolishly! The auto batteries for instance are some of the highest rated of any made. They also have a fantastic return / refund / warranty policy. Many of the AZ items have lifetime warranty and they don't give you the runaround when you have to return an item. Also they offer the same warranty deal at any of their stores. I had to return a fuel pump in AZ and it was no problemo amigo. I have a 7.3 L diesel truck and the carry lots of stuff for it, stock. If not they can usually get a part for you next day. Today I needed to pick up a pair of wiper-blades , headlights, and 4 gal of oil and an oil filter. I was in and out in 5 min! I'll keep coming back! read more
