This place came recommended by another auto repair shop. I came in because my front bumper was coming loose. It wasn't due to an accident so not covered by insurance. But the cost to replace the broken bracket was pretty reasonable. Getting scheduled for both the quote and the actual work was easy and painless. Everyone is super friendly and courteous, appreciated the offer to Uber me home so I didn't have to wait there, free car wash (much needed), and the free pen w/notepad was pretty nifty. I had my bumper repaired and a week after I got my car back I tried to open my truck from the latch on the driver side door. It didn't work, I took it back and was told they don't know if it was because of the accident. Go to a shop that understands your type of vehicle. My brother resided in Elk Grove and had his Lexus SUV passenger door repaired previously by Auto Body Expressions. I saw his Lexus SUV and wasn't even aware his door was previously damaged. He told me the shop did a fantastic job. and recommended them to me since it was also on the list of AAA approved shops. My car is a 3007 Lexus ES 350 and had been damaged in the left front bumper and fender. I brought in and met with Justin who surveyed the damage and gave me a honest appraisal of the situation. The car may not be repairable if it was determined if the car frame was damaged or it might be deemed a borderline salvaged vehicle because of the age of the car (18 years old) with the possibility my insurance would not cover the cost of repairs. He also explained the shop would try to keep the cost down and get non-OEM parts to satisfy my insurance company. The shop has a contract agreement with Enterprise Rent a Car so it was easy for them to pick me up at the shop to get a rental car. The shop fixed my car within 10 days as ptomised. After I returned the rental car, the driver asked if the Lexus car was mines in front of the shop and he stated he couldn't even tell where the original car damage was. My car is a unique Moon shell color but the color match and repair was perfect. Justin later explained to me in detail what they did and I was very happy with the reasonable cost and excellent repair work by Auto Body Expressions. This place was suggested by my insurance after our car was in an accident and immediately took the soonest availability which was the same day. Robert was assigned on this job. He went over the damage and gave us a pretty accurate run down on the costs, the process, and an estimated timeline. Considering how much volume of work these guys do, I was surprised that our vehicle was repaired that same week. Moreover, their quality of work was excellent with a lifetime guarantee on the repair. It basically looked brand new. The cost of the repair was very reasonable but of course, all the repairs were covered minus the deductible. I highly recommend this place for any body work. I just hope I never have to go to auto body shop ever again under those circumstances eg. vehicle collisions but if I did, this would be where I would take my vehicle in. read more

Great service all around. Took my car here for an insurance claim after my car was swiped. All the staff from Auto Body Expressions were enthusiastic and ready to help. They were also very clear and read me through the estimate and were clear that AAA has agreed to cover everything in the estimate and would update me if anything were to change. They finished working on my car in just a few days (albeit, it was minor damage) and made sure I understood that there was a little more work involved than originally estimated, and that AAA agreed to cover the additional costs. My vehicle was hit on the passenger side by a car that ran a red light. My insurance company advised me I needed to come here to get an estimate as the insurance employee works out of this location. The original quote from the insurance adjuster was ridiculously low but they advised me that it was a best case scenario quote and this location was the closest authorized repair center. I proceeded to take the quote to a few other auto body repair shops that were more convenient for me, but their estimates were significantly higher and I ultimately decided to bring my vehicle back to this location to have the work done. Auto Body Expressions final repair bill after submitting four supplementals was $3,000 more than the original insurance quote. They also had a timeline of approximately two weeks and the employee James communicated with us on a few occasions about ordering parts, paint work and approximate completion. Unfortunately there were lots of issues along the way and when the work was done they had my car for over 31 days. They ended up having some issues which delayed the repair, including telling us they had ordered one part but were sent another. Whether they ordered the right part or not, I understand people make mistakes but that one alone added another week to the repair time. Their delays in turn resulted in us having to have the rental car longer. They advised us when they called to tell us about yet another delay that they would notify the rental company and our insurance, but no one ever contacted either. That ended up causing us to have to pay out of pocket for additional time on the rental that should have been covered. I had to contact my insurance to try and get reimbursed for some of that out of pocket, but they would not reimburse all of it, which was frustrating. When we did receive our vehicle, there were visible scratches on the vehicle and wear on parts of the vehicle that were not involved in the accident. This causes me to question their care of my car while it was in their custody. We also noticed that even though we were told a new side mirror had been installed it did not function correctly. We brought it to their attention because we could not adjust the mirror for safety and they stated they would fix it but they had already had the vehicle so long we needed to return our rental. We had to bring it back again a week later to have the side mirror fixed. It's never a good time when you are the victim of an accident, but Auto Body Expressions could have done a much better job than they did and made our experience easier and better with a little more care, effort and communication. read more

ANTHONY (MANAGER) WAS CAUGHT ON DASH CAM TALKING SHIT ABOUT ME. YOU WOULD'VE THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE SMART ENOUGH TO CHECK FOR DASH CAMS BEFORE SAYING STUPID SHIT ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS. I took my vehicle to Auto Body Expressions because the previous auto body shop I went to have failed to assemble my driver door correctly. As a result, I would hear wind noises when driving 60+ mph. I took it to Auto Body Expressions and they said it was a simple fix and would fix the issue within 1-2 days. It took them 9 whole days to fix this "simple" issue. When I received my vehicle 9 days later, there are still wind noise present when driving at lower speeds, which means it was worse from when I have brought it in. I called Anthony to notify him about the issue and made an appointment to bring my vehicle the following week for reinspection. When I brought it in the following week, Anthony and a mechanic went for a test drive to see where the wind noise was coming from. After the drive, Anthony said that they had bent my driver door to fit more closely and that my wind noise issue is resolved. After driving my vehicle home, there are still wind noise present and the issue is not resolved. I decided to check my dash cam to see what they did while I was gone and was genuinely surprised to see that Anthony was talking shit about me. Anthony stated that I was "fucking retarded" for thinking there were still wind noises present and that I "needed hearing aids." My vehicle is a daily driver so I would know when something is off. So now I have to waste more time communicating with my insurance to get approval for another body shop. On top of all this bullshit, they didn't even use disposable floor covers and dirtied my car mats with their work boots. If you want false delivery dates, unprofessional behavior, and receiving your vehicle in worse condition, then this is the shop for you. read more

I got hit by a truck April 19th, damaging the entire driver side of my car. I was lucky to have the insurance company send me to Auto Body Expressions! Upon meeting their crew for the first time on April 23rd, I was extended a warm greeting. Robert treated me amazingly as well as Lauren, their front desk worker. Both were very kind and explained all processes very clearly: every paper needing a signature along with what damages were being accessed and how. Past the point of dropping off my car and receiving a rental, both smooth and simple processes, Robert took it upon himself to give me a text or call every morning with an update on my car which I found to be super helpful. As a teenage girl who doesn't know a whole lot about cars, they definitely explain things in a way you would understand. I even managed to accidentally leave something in my vehicle, and they were very nice and let me go and search the car for it. It came around Friday when my car was nearing the end of its repairs, however Auto Body Expressions kept it over the weekend which I again appreciated! They really take their time and skill to perfect every detail before returning your vehicle. Upon picking up my car on May 5th, everyone was super nice once again. My car has honestly never looked better; they gave it a very nice detail before returning it. Nothing was missing from my vehicle and was exactly how I left it, even my energy drink was still in there. One thing I truly appreciated about them was the way they kept my fresh tint. I needed a fog light on my Tacoma replaced because something hit it and shattered the lens. I ordered the OEM part online because I did not want my vehicle to be in the shop waiting for a part to be ordered. I called dealers for estimates to install the light, independent mechanics, and other auto body shops. Auto Body Expressions had the lowest estimate. Some mechanics quoted me 3x as much! Based on a coworker's recommendation, I decided to bring the vehicle here. I am elated by the results! The cost to replace the light was lower than the estimate. I went in to have the LEFT rear bumper and quarter panel repaired and came out with an UNFINISHED job on the rear RIGHT bumper with UNEVEN PAINT GLOBULES and ENTIRELY NEW SCRATCHES over the previously smooth finish. (REFER TO PHOTOS as they speak for themselves).  Originally quoted for $1900+, the final job itself costed $2,000+. You would think for $2,000+, the finish would at least come out SLIGHTLY even. For $2,000+ I could have had my ENTIRE VEHICLE repainted at MAACO with perhaps even BETTER results!  When I addressed my concerns to Justin by pointing out the BLATANTLY obvious defects, he brushed them off and told me to file another claim for the RIGHT SIDE. WOW! Nice business tactic there. Repair the side the claim was filed for, do a TERRIBLE job on finishing the opposite side so that the client would have to come back again to have the ENTIRE bumper repaired under a DIFFERENT CLAIM for the blemishes/damages/defects THEY'VE CAUSED!  TAKE YOUR VEHICLE ELSEWHERE!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING experience !!! We chose Auto Body Expressions for our collision repair because the reviews seems good. The rep. gave us an estimate of $3,285 . He said it would be $5,200 if they have to replace the apron. He explained what would be done to the car and it would take 8 days to finish. Dropped our car off Dec 4, 2023. Our car wasn't ready for pick up until Jan 2024. TO OUR SHOCK when I came to pick up our car. They charged our insurance $7,820 WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE or APPROVAL. I questioned $7,820 is not the quote they gave me and the receptionist replied insurance already paid for it otherwise they would not have released the car for pick up. They didn't call us about the delay to fix our car or the increase charge before they fix the car. The paint job they did on our car is another disappointment and the honesty was not there. I noticed a couple things they didn't do that they said they would/did. I brought it to his attention. Long story. Overall. A VERY DISAPPOINTING experience. One of the worst experiences I've head with any business, ever. I was involved in a rear end collision where I was pushed into another vehicle, so my car has serious front end damage and minor rear damage. I took my car into them around October 12th, and did not receive my vehicle back until the end of January. Keep in mind I was quoted a month, tops. During that time, this shop submitted three supplemental adjustments to my insurance, as they kept finding more to charge for. After FINALLY receiving my vehicle in January, the front end looked immaculate. I can't fault them on that. However, they failed to even touch the rear of my car, despite charging my insurance to fix that (parts and hours of labor). When they acknowledged this fact, they said they would get it sorted the same week, within the a day or two. They ended up submitting a FOURTH supplemental, which my insurance paid. It was at that point that Tony, my repair contact, began to completely ignore my emails. After a series of emails, I never heard back, sold the car. And never looked back. Still never have heard back or had the offer to finish the work they charged my insurance for. I cannot speak to if this is a reflection of the entire shop, but this was a horribly unprofessional experience, and I do not recommend going to this shop at all. read more

After a busy day of work (and a grueling workout), my exhausted wife proceeded to enter the garage and ended up clipping the trimming of the house that surrounds the garage door. Fortunately, she and the house were ok. However, the front passenger side bumper of her 2015 Mazda 6 was clearly a victim to damage. After ensuring that she was ok, we laughed about the situation, and contacted our auto insurance company (Nationwide). Nationwide provided us with a long list of auto body shops in close proximity to our home, we settled on the shop with the best Yelp reviews (surprise!)...Auto Body Expressions. When we arrived, an employee greeted us, requested our names, and advised us to take a seat in the waiting area. Before stepping away to find an appraiser, she offered us bottled water and other amenities provided in the waiting area. Ten minutes later, Damage Analyst Justin arrived to look at the car. During the appraisal I pointed out some minor door dings (if only folks would open their door's with caution), Justin suggested that we have the dings removed using the services of a gentleman named David (owner of Dent Works) that he contracts with. After observing the damage and drafting the report, Justin ushered us back inside and called Enterprise Rental Car so that they could pick us up (our insurance coverage provides a rental car). Before we left, Justin gave us an estimated completion time of two days. A day and a half later, we received a call saying that the repairs were done and the car was ready. When my wife arrived at the shop, she was quickly escorted to her car and Justin proceeded to conduct a walk around. The replacement and paint on the bumper was immaculate, and there were no signs that the bumper had been removed and replaced. Per our request, the aforementioned door dings were removed (this was a service separate from the insurance work done). My wife signed some paperwork, paid the deductible, and hit the road! We were both impressed by the professionalism of the staff, Justin's transparent communication of the conducted services, the quality of work performed, and the quick turnaround time. Although we pray that future accidents do not occur, we know that Auto Body Expressions will take care of us if they do. read more
