I was rear ended and needed my bumper replaced on my car. My insurance directed me to go to one of their designated dealers, but I'm glad I went to G&S Collision. They were very professional and had my car done within a week. They worked with my insurance to get the payment from them. My insurance initially wanted to send me a check, but G&S took care of it. My car could still run, and they asked me to drop off my car after they had the parts in. They were great at updating me with the status. My car looks so good, the paint was matched perfectly. I have used G &S collision a few times for my 2017 Honda Civic. When being involved in motor vehicle accidents it can be stressful and overwhelming. G&S has helped ease me through the process. The staff is very professional and friendly. My last accident my car was not drivable and needed to be towed. They arranged my tow and rental car without me having to make separate calls which saved me time and energy and took some stress off me having to make separate calls While trying to juggle work. I had my car worked on at G&S Collision after an accident in March of 2024. The basic workmanship of the repair was ok but I have some serious complaints. I don't feel like they worked for me, I feel like they worked for my insurance company. The main reason I say this is because I felt something wrong with my seat. I asked them to take a look at it. They said the seat was attached to the floor just fine. It turns out, the seat frame was bent by the accident causing the problems I was experiencing. It took taking the car to the dealership and $2000 dollars later to get the seat fixed. I think the insurance company only wants to pay for primary damage from the accident and G&S had no interest in taking my side on this. If they make the insurance company mad then the insurance company will no longer recommend them to their clients. Another thing that bothered me is they took exactly as long as I could get a rental car paid for by my insurance company to complete the job. So when the job was done, I was stressed and just wanted my car back. So maybe I wasn't as careful in looking over the job as I should have been. I did catch a door ding on the car that I am sure was not there when I brought the car in. It cost me $384 to get that fixed. I cannot prove that they made the door ding but I had been keeping a very close eye on my car before the accident because I wanted to get it detailed. They keep the cars they are working on locked up at night, which is great in theory, but when they pack the cars in tight, damage can easily happen. Further on this thought. Shortly after I got the car, maybe a week, two tops, I noticed damage on the back bumper. I intended to take it back right away but time slipped away. They eventually looked at it and said that the damage is from an impact, so they wouldn't fix it. I took the car to another body shop. He looked at the car and had some interesting things to say. Yes the damage was most likely from a front license plate scraping the car. He said this because the distance between the scratches was exactly the distance between two license plate screws. Now the weird part. There were two sets of scratches, with one set about 2 inches higher than the first. Each set was composed of two scratches spaced apart exactly the width of the separation of screws in a license plate. Not only that, the scratches where even so the car that did it had to be coming straight on. And since there was 2 pair scratches, my car would have had to have been hit twice and by separate cars. What are the chances that within a week or two after picking my car that my car was hit on two occasions. Not likely. I can't prove it, but I think it is much more likely that bumper was damaged in the shop when they parked cars at night. For all of these reasons I will not go back to G&S to get any work done and I will not recommend them to anyone else either. Update on 6/30/24. I got a call from Tom, the manager of the shop. He was very understanding and fixed the bumper. It is nice to see that he wanted to make it right. read more

When I ordered new doors for my Jeep, they arrived as just bare aluminum, with no paint and roughly sanded. I called several auto paint shops and founds G & S to be the most straight-forward, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. They used a special camera to take pictures of the color spectrum on the adjacent body panels and a few days later I got a call that the doors were ready. Super quick and the results look like a factory finish! Smooth and shiny, with no trace of the original bare aluminum. The color is a perfect match. Their staff was awesome about packaging up the doors and parts for a safe transport home. My only regret is that now I want to buy more Jeep parts for them to paint. They nailed it! read more

My car was sideswiped and damaged on the front fender and door. Several other places either told me that they backed up for a month or more, or weren't able to schedule me in at all. G&S was able to get me in about 10 days after my initial call. The insurance company was extremely difficult to deal with, but they managed. There is also a shortage of parts right now, and they also managed that well. Throughout the process, they called me to keep me updated on progress. It took roughly four weeks to finish, since they were going back and forth with insurance and waiting for parts. When I picked up the vehicle, you couldn't tell that there was ever damage to it. If you're looking for a car repair shop you've come to the right place. I own a 2014 Honda Accord and I was in a t-bone accident on 5/19/2019 when someone ran a stop sign on my right away. I thought my car was totaled and there was no way my car would ever look or run the same. Tom is the most unprofessional and rude person I had ever dealt with. I wasn't given correct information from his staff two weeks ago and that's already frustrating. I explained my frustration to Tom and he doesn't feel empathetic instead he talks to me with disrespect and insults me and the funny part is he told me I was insulting him. I am in absolute shock! On top of that he said you can take your $6700 business to another place. If I could rate this place honestly.. I would rate them a 35 out of 10. I was recently involved in an accident and I turned to yelp in search of a repair shop. I chose G&S Collision because they popped up as #1 on yelp. I trusted them with my car and hoped for the best. And after my experience with them, I can see why. The ONLY reason why I'm writing this review is because of how awesome Mr. Monoel Johnson is. To the person who is reading this review: you're here for the same reason I was. You understand how debilitating it is to not have a car. To start, Monoel took loads of stress off my shoulders by doing something as simple as calling to update me on the progress. Most repair shops in the past, after dropping off my car, I wouldn't hear a peep from them for weeks until I get the call that my car is finished. Then things took a turn. It became a nightmare. We ran into trouble with insurance. And I say we because, Monoel made me feel like we were a team. People often take advantage of me first look because I'm a woman. He made sure that wasn't happening. He handled the dispute going back and fourth and kept me updated every step of the way. I low-key felt like I had a lawyer, having him. After a week, I finally got my car back and I swear it came back to me better than before my accident! I came in last year because I noticed my paint had an abnormal fading or wear. It seemed the clear coat was peeling. I just wanna begin by saying that my experience here at G&S Collision was above and beyond my expectations and absolutely amazing. It has been a rough time ever since getting into my accident but after finding Tyler and Tom here at G&S, I felt right at home with their understanding and friendly personalities. In addition, they provided an in depth inspection of my car even though they were about to close for the day and made me feel safe knowing that my car will be taken care of in the best way possible. Before I truly begin my in depth review, please note that this just isn't just any daily beater car, but actually my show car as I am a car enthusiast. This car has been something I've been building for a solid 3.5 years and trust me, I felt so broken when the accident happened and felt hopeless that my car would not get back to the way it used to be..
