He was able to answer all of my questions and concerns with such an ease, he even cracked a few jokes which made me feel a lot more comfortable. So when I dropped my car off, I was told a week or less. Turned out to be 3 weeks. Then get home and there's overspray all over my rear passenger door windows. Mason says it's impossible, but it's clearly there. Plus the seams don't line up like they did before the incident on my bumper and rear fenders. Not pleased, as the guy who answered the phone said they didn't get a chance to do a QCR, mason says they did so ‍. I just know my car has something splattered all over it, plus my driver floor mat was soaking wet when I picked it up. All in all, I probably wouldn't let them work on another vehicle that I own, or recommend them to anyone. Got my car estimated on a Thursday or a Friday. They ordered the parts and started the job on Tuesday. Finished it Friday. They kept me informed the whole week. Very kind and always answered the phone. You can't tell it was ever in a fender bender. I would recommend them and I plan to come back for other work eventually. read more

I brought my car to them for moderate repair to my hatchback and bumper. - Terrible quality: they damaged my car during the first repair and installed the hatchback at a tilt. In the second repair, they removed my car door for some reason, and then reinstalled it at a tilt. - Slow. It took 2 months to replace the hatchback, after 1 month quote. - They were terrible with communication. I ended up coordinating with my insurance on their behalf multiple times. I had multiple scheduled pickup/dropoff dates that were cancelled/pushed back without being notified. I ended up taking the car to another location to finish up the work, and they other shop was extremely helpful, easy and fast to work with, and did excellent work. read more

Took my car in for minor damages after someone hit and run my car. It took Carstar less than a week to repair and they kept me updated the whole time with text updates. I worked with Mike and when I called the shop for updates I spoke with Xavier who were both very helpful. When I dropped off my car they helped get me shuttle service to the nearby Enterprise for a rental. When it was time to pick my car up, I was able to leave my rental with Carstar and they took care of the turn in process for me. My car looks back to normal, thank you! read more

Our truck was taken to them for water damage and our headliner was never repaired. Our door locks and automatic seats don't work anymore. They never called back and only made empty promises when we would show up in person. They promised a headliner company would call us and resolve the issue. None of these things happened and we will never return to their business. Poorly run shop. Zero confidence in their skills and abilities. I'll stay away from all CarStar locations after this experience. read more

I was referred to CARSTAR by a coworker that spoke highly of this repair shop. I have a restricted schedule and they made it easy to get my car in and started though it's a busy time for them. Britten was able to give me a rough estimate based on The information given, i bought a cheap bumper in and not all the parts I thought I had. After thoroughly investigating my car, I was already aware there was damage underneath but didn't know what that entailed. Justin stayed in constant communication with me, explaining they can do what I'm asking but gave me a realist outcome. He advised me what the best solution would be to get what I'm asking. Mind you my accident insurance claim was over 2 years old, but still manage to help me utilize them to save me out of pocket cost. Justin worked with me tremendously and was available for all my lengthy questions and concerns. I'm soo grateful because even though I was trying to cut corners, he went out of his way to accommodate me with kindness and patients. My mom has taken her Camry back around 5 times after this shop told us it was fixed. I finally accompanied her to figure out what was going on and found out this shop really does not know what they are doing. When we first went to pick up the car, the doors that were repainted had paint that had drip trails underneath the clear coat, trim pieces that were not attached, and a misaligned door. After pointing these issues out, the manager Kosal mentioned he would take care of us and we had nothing to worry about. Once we returned about a week later, the vehicle still had clear coat issues, trash left in the vehicle from employees, and stained leather seats. We were willing to look past those issues since they offer a lifetime warranty on their paint, and we could just clean up the mess they made at home however when we started driving the vehicle there was a very loud wind noise coming through the door. After bringing this to their attention they took the vehicle back and blamed it on a bent door from the factory which is totally possible. Rather than ordering a new unbent door to replace it with, they chose to bend parts of the vehicle in order to make this faulty door work. Which then lead to more issues. After our fifth time back we ended up taking the vehicle to Toyota's collision center and they were able to point out many flaws in their work and told us they would not touch the vehicle due to how many issues there were. The staff overall were very nice however I think they need to do some training and improve quality control before I would ever recommend anyone taking their vehicle there. read more

Got into an accident last year with my car and had my repair done they was very responsive and understanding to what I needed done but one down side the light bulb they gave me for my headlight was a different color then my other one so now when I turn on my hazard it's different lights flashing but besides that they sure get the job done quick. read more

BAIT & SWITCH. An unfortunate Lesson Learned, since we went with CARSTAR only to support a local small business. A private party was paying for damage done to our vehicle. The Auto Mall Collision Center gave us an estimate of $1500. CARSTAR wrote up an estimate for $2050, supposedly padding it on the high side so we would not end up going to the private party for more money and end up coming up short on payment from the private party. CARSTAR assured us because it was on the high side, we could expect to end up paying the same $1500 quoted us from the Auto Mall. When the work was completed, CARSTAR charged us over $2300, now even higher than their supposed overestimated quote used to get our business. Their excuse was the parts were more and they failed to write up that we had two-tone paint. So think about that, we needed one piece of replacement trim and the actual price was higher than the quote from the parts house just earlier that day, even worse was that this is a paint shop who admitted not knowing our car was two-tone paint!?! Sadly, our neighbors later told us that they took two vehicles to Auto Mall Collision Center, both had accurate quotes and they received videos of the work being done so everything was transparent. CARSTAR was 50% higher than the Auto Mall Collision Center. We can never recommend CARSTAR, regardless if we want to support local small businesses. Their tactics left them untrustworthy. read more
