When my 9 year old told my wife and me he wanted to see a NASCAR race, I was hesitant because I'm a formula one guy. But we went on line and got some good tickets (section 14 row 3) for $25.00/kid and $50.00 for me. Parking was included! About that parking... Ok, we got there close to race start, around 11AM. Traffic was jammed and the queue just to get to the parking lot was almost 20 minutes off of Etiwanda and Napa St. Once we found parking, it was almost a half mile walk to the grandstands and then another 1/8 of a mile from section 78 to 14. There's tons of food vendors, LOTS of beer, and the requisite souvenir stands. It was loud, noisy, damp, cold and exciting. Yup, it's NASCAR, baby! Having been to monster truck events, we knew to bring ear protection. And, since we had the freak blizzard in So. CA, we also layered and even brought a blanket. We didn't have a chance to sample the food, but it all looked and smelled good (we had a birthday party after the race). The queues to the restrooms were long, even for the men, but it went fast. The women's line was really long, so plan on missing many laps if you have to "go." Our seats were really good, but the safety walls block most of the view. In reality, probably higher seats would have a better view. The bleachers are aluminum slabs, so bring a seat cushion for added comfort. There were tons of tailgaters having a great time with music and barbecues and beer a plenty. It was a good time for all and surprisingly family friendly. I am so out of shape. That's the title of this review. Absolutely ran out of breath getting to our seats that were centrally located in the mid-nosebleeds. Thought we would hate the view, but actually we had perfect shade and were situated right at the finish line. BEAUTIFUL. So where does this review take us to a missing star? Came to Auto Club Speedway for Nascar and saw that there were long lines to get in. However, the ticket takers were efficient and friendly, and we got in right away! Ok, now what? It was pretty hot out and my party and I desperately needed to get water. Like I'm dripping sweat from every pore, and I haven't even tried to get to my seats yet. Every single stand had long lines so we decided to go to the shortest one which just so happened to also sell 'Brick Curly Fries'. We weren't looking for food, but we figured ahhh what the heck, let's just get that too. When we finally got up to the cash register, it turns out that they were OUT OF WATER. I asked why they weren't announcing that to the people in line, and they said 'lots of people get in this line looking for water so we don't want to lose customers'. Um.. that's deceptive. We went through multiple other lines, never able to get water, until after about an hour and a half or two hours of my party split up in different lines searching for water did we finally finda Hard Seltzer pop-up that did sell it (but wasn't advertising that they had water!). I had a lot of fun and I enjoyed myself, but that inability to find access to water (TO PURCHASE) almost made my trip unbearable. Add that to the fact that it was a really long trek to the seats and I'd probably pass out of dehydration going up and down in search of water and back to my seat again, and I think it's really fair that they're only losing 1 star for having something as necessary as water so difficult to acquire. read more

The staff is amazing and it's a darn shame that this track is being turned into a short track cause it's pretty amazing the way it is! Hands down one of the cheapest thrills during the annual Porsche Event which this year was my second visit. Free admission and $15 for parking which makes this an very affordable event to attend. For an extra $30 you can take your car on a lap around the track which seems to be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the next year event. Hope to see you there!!! I have been to three different races at the Auto Club Speedway. The first time was a nightmare with parking & the shuttle workers. My dad is handicap & the shuttle drivers just left us to walk two miles back to our car. If you do rely on the shuttle to get back to your car make sure to get in line as soon as the race is over. The 2nd time I was at the track parking was easy & we parked straight out from where we sat. It was perfect. I really thought they worked out all the kinks. The third race the parking was crazy & we had to walk back to the car. We had numerous golf carts pass us, but none offered us a ride. Phoenix is a lot more accommodating when it comes to the shuttles. It was raining one year & they would not even take tips from us as they shuttled us back and forth. Just don't expect much when you come & you won't be disappointed. I came to pick my tickets up at the will-call window one year & I was in the car explaining the track to my friend. We had the windows down & a worker walked by asking what we were doing there. I explained we were picking our tickets up. It's just sad how the other Race tracks are welcoming, but this one isn't. In terms of the race track & watching the race I really enjoy coming up to this track. I love going into the pits before the race. I personally like sitting by turn 4 or close to where the cars go into the pits. I just stay clear of turn one. I like to sit higher up because then you can see more of the track. The food options are fair, but be sure to bring cash. read more

If you've been to a racetrack... Then you know this one. The hubby and I went to watch the Pala 400 Nascar race here and it was crowded... But it was decently clean. It had signs everywhere to text them for any kind of maintenance issue which I thought was cool. But the one thing that I didn't like was that they had bathrooms stalls locked for whatever reason. Thankfully there wasn't much of a line but I didn't know why a whole row of bathrooms had to be locked up in every bathroom. The food was way over priced for what you got. If you think Disneyland is expensive... This was way more expensive. I got a bottle of cheap Dasani water for $5. And I got a footlong corn dog for almost $20. The hubby and I got 2 footlong corn dogs which were sadly 2 regular hot dogs skewered together and one drink and it was $50. 0_o. after here, I don't think I'll be complaining about Disneyland prices for food again. I know it's a race and all but WOW! I guess when they say Nascar, it means vvrrooomm vvrrooomm.... Bring your money! read more

Came here for a Falken event and the place is kept up and clean. Large parking lot and raceway. Perfect location for private events for anyone in the automotive field. Will be coming out one day again for an event or race forsure, but if its a hot day bring something to cover you up as its very open. read more

HARD SUMMER 2016 Review ~ WORST VENUE EVER! This will be my FIRST and LAST Hard Summer. First off, getting inside the venue was ridiculous! People waited outside in the scorching heat of 95+ degree for over 2+ hours with NO tent coverage and people passing out. Not only that, there was NO organization at all. People were pushed like cows trying to get thru, security sucks, workers don't know their stages, very few shade tents inside, ONLY 1 water station worked AND it took over 45 mins to get it, must I say anymore? What really pushed everyone and me off the edge was having ONLY ONE EXIT at the end of the night. When the event ended, my exit (West Entrance) was right behind me and all my friend and I had to do was go thru and we were at our car. NO, they blocked the whole entrance and made EVERYONE go to the East Exit, which was on the opposite side! Everyone was exhausted from the whole day of standing and dancing in the heat, and you make us walk another 40+ minutes around the whole venue just to exit? No wonder why people passed out. Honestly people, save your money and your peace of mind. Don't go to hard events. They don't care about festival goers, they just want your money. PS. Hard Summer 17' is at the same venue. Went here for the RV show, took us an hour to drive to the offramp and the 45 minutes to get inside the gate and then 20 more minutes to park. For such a large venue they need to have a better way to get people from the street into the parking lot. With only one lane going into the parking lot from Cherry you get maybe 8 cars per turn arrow. Venue needs to do something about getting people in more efficiently. read more

I am not a NASCAR fan but man, was I impressed when I was invited to attend the Cup Series on St. Patty's Day. I didn't know where this place was until this event. The parking was good and trams were readily available. Lots of people having tailgating parties; the aroma of yummy food had me starving by the time I got to the entrance. Walking over the bridge was fine but they were highly disorganized trying to get people to follow a line to enter. Prepare to open up your bag and be scanned with a metal detector. Rental of scanner and headsets are available; listen to the pit crews or the Voice of NASCAR. The bathrooms are easily accessible. Long, long lines for King Taco's but all other lines were not as bad in comparison. Be patient with the volunteers at the Fry Zone (by the way, no substitutions at this stand); they weren't trained properly and just thrown into the mix. Come early to get all your drinks and food; I'd bring a plastic bag to help keep my hands free; add napkins because they only seem to have wet naps. I loved our seats; high enough to see the whole track. This place is huge! Spectacular background of the hills sprinkled with snow still. It was a bit hot which made me not want to drink any alcohol for fear of dehydration. The rows are very, very tight. You will probably be kicked or kick someone by accident at some point. Most people won't excuse themselves or their kids. Cotton candy person does walk up and down the stairs but I didn't see anyone else. I'd suggest to hop to the row in front or behind you if there is no one, so you can quickly get to the stairs to grab food, drinks, or use the facilities. I couldn't see any place to buy merchandise but maybe I should have walked further down to the end. When walking back to the parking lot, feel free to say 'Moo' as you feel like a herd of cattle going over the bridge. Police had taken care of closing down streets and stop lights for traffic to run all lanes to the freeway; that's awesome! Cars are extremely fast and loud but it's electrifying with the crowd and it helps to bring earplugs. Before I could blink or have a good bite of my loaded fries, the cars had taken another lap. I really enjoyed my first time here. read more

The staff working the gate, at least on the particular date of my visit, were not very helpful and seemed to hardly know anything at all. That said, my husband and I had a wonderful time. Once parked and inside the speedway, we were greeted by a nice variety of eateries and the whirlwind of the racing cars! I was pleasantly surprised to see staff regularly going around picking up any obvious trash - that made my visit that much more enjoyable! A day at the track for me means arrive before the sun comes up and leave when sun goes down. I have been here many times for private events, car shows, even a NASCAR race. I've been pretty lucky and roll with the crew of each event so I never worry about paying parking or entry fees. The weather here is hit or miss. It was cold in the morning and raining in July, now it's hot hot hot. And there is no shade. So bring a pop up tent. It's also important to pack your own drinks and food, just in case your event has no food trucks. NASCAR was Rad. Again another freebie for me so I can't complain. But I will let my feet complain. Ladies the track is not the place to be cute. Your feet in those sandals will get dirty and will be blistered so wear boots if you wanna be stylin. If your ears are sensitive stop and get some ear plugs. If you eat it's about $15 a person plus beer if that's your choice. Cool place to hang out. Just remember sunblock, food and a sweater. Bathrooms are clean so don't worry if you have to go. read more

I went there for the "Magic Lights" drive thru Christmas Lights. The online ticket cost 22 dollars after taxes. I figured since they were charging 22 dollars per car there would be a really nice Christmas Light setup, however I was WRONG!! Save your money!!! I was so damn bored and dissapointed. The speedway did a poor job with decorating. There were so many undecorated dark areas with nothing. Some of the decorated areas were not even Christmas themed, for example they had Christmas lights that looked like a flower pot, roosters, ducks, 3 little pigs, and some other random stuff. I'm sorry for what I saw should have been free. It was so ghetto looking. Some of the displays I couldn't even figure out what design the lights made. It was not setup nice at all. The best part was the end with the lit up tunnel and the welcoming sign at the beginning. I would never come here again. You're better off driving the dark streets of Muscoy to see Christmas Lights..im warning you..its NOT worth your time. read more

The experience was electrifying. The deep, almost ominous hum of the cars as they pass you by. Such a heavy, powerful sound! The raw energy. The speed (200+ mph). The smell of fuel, tires and exhaust. All of it. This feeling is why people love NASCAR. And Danica Patrick in her bright green and orange Go Daddy car, hanging right in with the boys...it made me want to jump out onto the speedway and hang in there, too! Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch...I'm coming for you in a few years. Be ready. Zoom! Zoom! Jimmie Johnson for the entire race made everyone eat dust...especially the guy who discovered him: Jeff Gordon. Hahaha. I know Gordon probably has regretted ever since bringing the guy into the sport. Anyway, on the second to last lap, fucking Jimmie blew a tire! Shit. Such a shame to be a badass leading the pack for most of the race, only for your tire to become a betraying BRUTUS! Et Tu!? Kyle Busch, everyone's NOT-so-favorite, ending up winning. Whomp, whomp. But a great race, nonetheless. And John, what an amazing guy to experience it all with. Thank you so much for this. Thank you for the headphones so we could listen to the live broadcast of the race! Watching it in the flesh plus listening to it LIVE...sensory overload! Chowing down on sausages and beer. I felt like a man. LOL. Taking pics with cars. Listening to live music. We were here for the Guinness world record for the longest pizza. We parked at the VIP parking lot section. The event staff were friendly, seems like there were a lot of confusion for them. The event was behind in schedule and the staff was unsure themselves. The ground keepers, kept the area clean, swept the debris of food and wrappers left on the ground. The woman bathroom was clean. Except they need to refill hand soap, only one of the three sinks had soap. Barely though, I had to dig deep in the container to scoop out what's left. read more

Came here last Sunday for Bimmerfest 2017 I've never been to this place before it's a fairly large place in Fontana during the late spring summer time it gets really hot out here there is really no shaded areas as well. Large parking area and the the track area is nice. This show was held away from the stands and track. They set it up in one of the parking lot areas. Overall a nice set up. read more

I bought a gift certificate for my boyfriend's birthday and he absolutely loved his experienced. Their customer service is amazing! All the professional drivers are super welcoming and friendly. I had a blast just watching the hellcat drifting along the racetrack and watching the nice cars race by. My boyfriend had booked the Ferrari but once we were there he was offered a deal to drive 5 laps around the course in a Porsche which allowed him to familiarize himself with the track. He then drive the Ferrari and then was talked into the GT-R. They are not super pushy or anything like that, they just simply have on the spot deals that a car enthusiast cannot walk away from :) I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone. I might actually end up booking something for myself. I have my eye on the Lamborghini! read more

We came here for the NASCAR races during the California swing. We have seen the track many times on TV, but decided to give it a try and see it in person. We will have to say one thing when you come here be ready to walk we didn't realize how much walking we would do. But it something that's not unexpected when we come to race tracks. We enjoyed ourselves immensely the staff here was very friendly, not knowledgeable but very friendly. Facilities were well maintained. There is plenty of food vendors in all locations in the facility to choose from. And plenty of vendors to see new items and personalities from other sports and venues. The only conflict we have is to put some restrooms a little higher up in the stands as we had to walk 45 Rows just to find a restroom. This is one of the reasons were not given it a five star, we look forward to our return to the California Speedway. read more

Punished by Auto club speedway Right before the 2019 race I fell and broke my leg And was wheelchair bound and couldn't see any possible way of getting to Fontana or getting into my seat. Then my orthopedic surgeon said no way so my wife said no. And because of that after 11 years I missed 1 race. When approaching my 50th Birthday my wife asked me what I wanted and I said Nascar tickets. We live in San Diego so a trip to Fontana was easy. I thoroughly enjoyed the race and came back every year. My wife didn't enjoy it at all so she doesn't go. A majority of the time go by myself. One problem that I had being 6ft 7inched tall is the benches are to close together and the seat numbers are shoulder to shoulder. Because I'm so tall I have to place my legs sideways, or hang over the seat in front of me, because sitting so close to my neighbors, sitting sideways is out of the question. So after my 2nd race, I scoped out new seats. mid way up in the seats right above the stairs. So I had a cyclone fence in front of me, no more legroom or encroachment on my neighbors Now with a broken leg sticking straight out, I would have had to sit all the way at the top in the handicap row. Doctors said no, wife says no, can't find a ride to the track, so I sent the tickets back. Did you know if it's impossible to go and you send your tickets back, you loose your membership and your right to renew. No wonder tickets sales are down read more

The construction of this place needs to be renovated. The concession stands need to be better prepared as first they ran out of water (who runs out of water?!) and then they ran out of food and only had beers left. One of the elevators stopped working and so one of the people in our party was in a wheel chair so we had to wait almost 20 minutes to get down the other (and only other) functioning elevator. read more

I drove out to the speedway to attend the Lexus Performance Driving School. I signed up for the half day course and now that I'm done, I wish I would have signed up for the full day. Great location to have one of these driving schools. The facility is impressive and even more so when you are there with just a few dozen people. There were a few journalists in my group, I don't know if they paid or were #InvitedbyLexus. Either way, the crew working the event were great. Treated everyone the same and made sure everyone had the same amount of time in the vehicles. They had the new LC500, the GS F and the RC F. If you haven't had a chance to put these cars through their paces, this school is a great way to do it. They had an acceleration and braking area, a slalom course, a wet drifting circle and a higher speed auto cross course. The only negative is that the next one will be in Atlanta. So if you don't want to travel across the country, set up a Google search for Lexus Driving School and catch it the next time it's in California. Worth your time and money. Enjoy! read more

We were out at the track this weekend for the NASCAR Car Drive/Ride Event. This is a dangerous activity so everyone connected with it and running things was professional and pleasant to deal talk to. It was very organized. If you are going for a ride along--it took 1.5 hours from the time of arrival at the track to the time you are in the car. It is probably a shorter wait if you come early in the day--things get backed up by noon and there are only 2 cars doing ride alongs and those professional drivers need to take a break for lunch. They will fit for a helmet, neck brace, and help you get through the window into the car and seat belt you in and out of the car and escort you off the track and remove your helmet and brace for you. You don't need to do a thing except enjoy the ride. They will get you up to 170 MPH on the track. For the Drive portion-- You will attend driver school first with a group away from the track. Then the group is escorted to the track for additional instruction. You are fitted for a jumpsuit, and helmet. You are instructed that if your radio fails you must return to the pits because you must always be in communication for instructions for safety. You must be able to drive standard shift!! All the cars are 4 speed manual transmission. I would not waste time or money coming here to drive a race car if you are not proficient at standard shift/smooth clutching. If you stall a second time while on the track because your shifting is poor--your drive day is over because you are creating a safety hazard for other cars. They will put you in another car with a professional for a ride-along is the rule. Expect to spend 2-3 hours at the track from arrival to end of your drive depending on when you arrive. There are a lot of hurdles to jump through before you get in a car to drive it. Parking is free and easy. It's a fun and unique day at the track. Have fun! read more

This review is for the Mario Andretti Race Experience Super professional racing school. Bought my husband a 5 minute race experience for $259 on Living Social. The school was completely booked except for Easter Weekend. We booked the 1st available spot almost one year prior, which is why the Living Social deal is valid for 2 years I guess. When we arrived we were greeted right away and assisted with check in, they also had awesome music over the loud speakers all day so much so that my Shazam got tired. The school begins with a one hour class discussion, which I was able to attend with my husband even though I was only a guest. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The next step was to suit up and get ready to race, you were given a personal radio with a race coordinator to yourself throughout your entire race experience, guiding you and assisting you with speeds and passing. They also up-sell you during the event to upgrade your 5 minute session to an 8 minute session for 85 dollars which according to my husband was extremely worth the upgrade, those minutes fly by way too fast. Guests were allowed to take pictures from any location of their choosing, I got amazing shots from the VIP stands. My husband and I both left with huge smiles on our faces, enjoying the adventure we had. read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2017 (25/100) Went here the other day for an event, BIMMERFEST 2017, Which happens once a year at this speedway. My fist time coming to an actual speedway and it was AWESOME AND FUN. First of all, the event alone was filled with beautiful BMWS. The lots and parking spots were very spacious. Gigantic location. I checked out the speedway and watched cars go around lap for lap for lap. Very tempting from the start because all you hear is loud and fast cars racing. I had to check it out. When I got up there to watch the speedway I see myself relaxing one day and watch some fast NASCAR races one day while drinking a beer! Why not.. seems chill there. I'm defiantly coming back for BIMMERFEST 2018 next year.. by the way, I rode on a BMW M3 NASCAR that went around the track one time on a hot lap and it was the best and fastest ride of my life. Professional drivers there that give a free ride are very experienced in drifting and racing. Fun!!! 5 out of 5 NASCAR cars!!!! read more

This review is for the Richard Petty NASCAR Driving Experience at Auto Club Speedway. Hubby just loooooooves being able to actually drive a NASCAR stock car. He's been at least three times, all three here at Fontana. The first two experiences, the drivers could only go as fast as the instructor's car in front of them. This last time though, it was solo Speed Racer driving, and Hubby LOVED it! Naturally, being the highly competitive sort, his goal was to be faster than his brother. In the end, he was not only faster than his brother, but had the fastest lap time of ANYONE that weekend (so said the instructors, though they probably say that to all the guys!). It was totally fun seeing everyone have so much fun. This is a class racing/driving experience, which is why Hubby keeps coming back. Plus, it's way more fun to watch him actually drive a real car, as opposed to listening to him and his computer-geek nerd buddies "racing" over the internet ;) read more

I've been to the NASCAR race here twice. Both times in a corporate suite. I like it because you can either sit inside the suite or outside. You also have a clear view of the pits. I had a hot pass so the was insane watching the pit stop up close. I also got a tour of a hauler. I'm not sure if I'd go to a race to sit in the grandstands, but I'd definitely recommend the corporate experience to anyone that has the opportunity. Free food and drinks. Access to the drivers. This is the third time I have had an event cancelled at this location, after registering, and without being notified! I travel an hour to fontana, and it is frustrating to be turned away with only a refund and a waste of gas, time, and effort. I have never had this issue anywhere else. It saddens me, but I will definitely not be coming to any other car shows, track days, or racing events here again! read more

NASCAR weekend. They almost got the shuttle system figured out after years of complaining. It is very annoying watching the trams to and from the main entrance and not stopping for the people at parking lot D until 10am. Every year they ask for an experience survey and I have complained about the lack of response to the terrible treatment for those that park in lot D. Believe it or not NASCAR their are people who have difficulty walking a mile to the entrance. Read the answers and do a better job. read more

Parking was easy, access was great the nachos were INDULGENT. This is the only speedway I've ever been to but it runs the gamut of food choices, alternate entertainment and the crowd sure is colorful! The view over the track is actually quite nice with the picturesque mountains in the background. Although it's out in the middle of nowhere, I had a lovely little NASCAR afternoon at Auto Club Speedway. read more

Auto Club Speedway - Races & Competitions Near Me - Fontana, California

2015 MAVTV 500 INDYCAR Race Parking lot trams were available to pick patrons up and take them to the grandstands, INDYCAR Fan Village, or Lefty's Fun Zone. A procession of Corvettes showcased drivers in front of the grandstand fans as they made a lap around the race track. Next a parade of MAVTV sponsored vehicles, tow trucks, and emergency vehicles made their way around the track. A couple of skydivers landed on the track during the National Anthem with US Flag announcing their arrival. 2016 Corvette Stingray was the official pace car. The starting Honda Sports Illustrated INDYCAR was driven by Mario Andretti as the cars made their way around the race track, sort of like a warm-up. The green flag announced the start of the race and the sound of speed hit the air immediately as the INDYCARs were nearing speeds of 200+ MPH for a 250-lap race. It seems like a lot of laps, but each lap takes approximately 35 seconds to complete. At 11:00am, a handful of wineries participated in the first Southern California Wine Festival presented by Yancey's Fancy Artisan Cheese. The Pit Road Terrace Suites were a great venue with great pit views and a full view of the race track from the seating on top of the building. Yancey's Fancy had most of their variety of cheeses available for tasting. Jersey Mike's had an array of sandwiches from Ham & Cheese, Jersey Favorite, Turkey, Veggie, Club, and more. BJ's Restaurants served up their Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Gourmet Mac and Cheese, Asian Chopped Salad, and Margherita Fresco Flatbread Appetizer Pizza. Since it was so hot that day, I just tried one winery, Andretti Winery. 2013 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and aged for 16 months in French oak. Tasting notes: Oak aroma; Oaky and not a lot of fruit or sweetness on the palate with dry finish. 2013 Napa Valley Chardonnay is aged for 10 months in French oak. Tasting notes: peach and citrus aroma; Lemon and slight bitter notes on the palate with a crisp finish. It was time to go up top and watch the pits as the drivers were starting to stop for tire changes. Tires changes were averaging 9-10 seconds in the pits. Now, that's a quick tire change! The pit crews were amazing - coordinating and maneuvering out of the way as the cars came into the pits and then get back out while watching their competitors' pits on either side. There is not a lot of room down there. The cars were a blur as they raced past the stands. * Tip: Bring hearing protection as the cars are very loud. The noise bounces around the track. Ear plugs are good, but heavy duty ear muffs will do the trick. We did witness one crash with the #20 CHF Racing's Ed Carpenter and teammate #67 Josef Newgarden cars. Both cars were towed into the pits. I had to stop by the Chevrolet tent to pay a visit to my favorite car of all time, the Chevrolet Camaro. They had a 2016 Camaro SS on display with Chevy Performance package. The sun shone bright through the clouds and the heat seemed to be stagnant over the track. Even though the suites were air-conditioned, it was time for us to leave in my Chevrolet of Irvine Courtesy Car. We wanted to beat the out-going traffic after the race was over. It was really neat hearing the sound of the cars whizzing around from the infield. This was a great event and hope that Auto Club Speedway can put on more of culinary events in conjunction with a major race. It was so much fun and exhilarating! read more

RACING'S RACING: I attended the JGTC (Now the Super GT. Japanese Touring Car Series) All-Star Race and some other test drive event here a few years ago where half of the oval was used and the part of the infield was set up for the road course. I was pretty impressed. The track and it's bankings are just amazingly huge in person. FONTUCKY NIGHTS: Watch out for the weather here in Fontucky. It can get really really hot, really really cold, and or really really windy. All in the same day. The JGTC event lasted until evening, and the cars are just gorgeous underneath the track lights. It's just so beautiful, it'll make any grown man drool over the cars. The backdrop can set up a really clean view of the Socal sunset. Sounds like a date place huH? Get a girl to come here with you and I'd have to say you're one lucky guy. The JGTC event also had free garage passes. It was cool to see the cars up in person and see the hard working mechanics repair and work on the cars. Bad part is that it's still a bit of a drive from L.A. Food was aight, but was expected. NASCAR: I'd be curious to go to a NASCAR event here, but I'm too skeeered. It just doesn't feel right. I mean. Can you picture an Asian American drinking beer in his RV waving around a confederate flag? One day, I'm sure I'll be back here, though. read more
